Earlier, the actress had also posted childhood photos with Ahaan a day earlier, writing that she had been obsessed with her brother since day one and couldn't wait for the world to feel the same.
Saiyaara sets box office record for debutants
As per Sacnilk, 'Saiyaara' earned Rs. 20.50 crore on its opening day, making it the biggest Bollywood debut for a newcomer-led film. The previous record was held by 'Dhadak' with Rs. 8.71 crore and 'Student of the Year' of Rs. 7.48 crore. Directed by Mohit Suri, the romantic musical stars Ahaan Panday as Krish Kapoor, an aspiring singer, and Aneet Padda as Vaani Batra, a budding journalist.
The film's soundtrack, consists of compositions by Mithoon, Vishal Mishra, and Faheem Abdullah, has also received strong praise across platforms.
Panday family and industry insiders shower praise on Ahaan
Chunky Panday, Ahaan's uncle, posted a heartfelt message calling him 'his Saiyaara' and wished him love and luck. Bhavana Pandey, Deanne Panday, and Alanna Panday joined in with nostalgic posts and childhood photos. As reported by Times Now, the screening was attended by several celebrities including Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar.
Industry insiders such as Mahesh Bhatt, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Salman Khan have reportedly praised Ahaan's screen presence and emotional restraint, calling him a promising new face in Bollywood.

‘Son of Sardar 2' postponed: Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur film gets a new release date

The release date of Son of Sardaar 2, featuring Ajay Devgn, has been postponed by a week, the makers said on Saturday. The film from Vijay Kumar Arora is a sequel to Son of Sardaar, which was released in 2012. It is produced by Devgn alongside Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja. It will also feature Mrunal Thakur and Vindu Dara Singh. The makers shared the news with a post on the official Instagram handle. "The Laughter Riot Just Got A New Date. 'Son of Sardaar 2' will now release in cinemas on 1st August 2025 worldwide," said he caption from the production house Jio Studios. The movie was supposed to release on July 25, 2025. Son of Sardaar was helmed by Ashwni Dhir and starred Devgn, late actor Mukul Dev, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha.
