owned by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Kadyrov, who is a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin and has led Chechnya since 2007, alleged that the tech billionaire remotely disabled the vehicle. In a post shared on the messaging platform Telegram, Kadyrov expressed his discontent and described Musk's actions as 'not manly." Take a look at the post here:
In the post, Kadyrov wrote (translated from Chechen):
'Elon Musk behaved badly. He gives expensive gifts from the heart, and then remotely turns them off. You probably remember his gift - the Cybertruck, which we equipped with a machine gun and sent to the SVO. The machine coped with combat missions perfectly. Demonstrated manoeuvrability and good protection for the crew. So, recently, Musk remotely turned off the Cybertruck. This is not manly. We had to tow the iron horse. How is that possible, Elon? Is that how it is done?'
Elon Musk denied gifting Ramzan Kadyrov
Earlier, Kadyrov shared a video showing the Cybertruck outfitted with what appeared to be a machine gun, implying that Musk had gifted him the vehicle.
"We received a Tesla Cybertruck from the esteemed Elon Musk. I was pleased to test this new technology and personally witnessed why it's rightfully called the 'Cyberbeast,"
Kadyrov said in a statement at that time, Benzinga reports.
However, Musk has denied gifting the Cybertruck to Kadyrov, the report added.
Moreover, how the Chechen leader obtained the vehicle remains unclear, especially since US sanctions prohibit direct exports of Cybertrucks to Chechnya.
In another news, former NBA star–turned–sports analyst Shaquille O'Neal parted ways with two of his Tesla Cybertrucks after being disappointed by their limited driving range. Despite one of them being custom-modified, he decided to sell both last week and has since invested in a Cadillac Escalade IQ, praising it for delivering superior performance on the same amount of energy.

He's got a problem, the poor guy's got a problem,' the president told sharp fallout comes at a time when Trump is pushing to get his sweeping tax-cut and spending bill passed through the Senate. But Musk's vocal opposition to the plan—and Trump's growing frustration with him—could derail the bill and spark broader political and financial to a White House official, speaking anonymously to Reuters, there were early attempts to get the two men on a call. Initially, a different aide had even suggested that a conversation was scheduled. The message was clear—he's distancing himself, both politically and the center of the fallout is Trump's signature tax-cut and spending bill, a core part of his domestic agenda. Elon Musk has slammed the proposal, calling it a 'disgusting abomination' that would add $2.4 trillion to the national debt over the next decade. Musk's criticisms have been echoed on his platform, X, where he agreed with posts suggesting Trump's bill could harm Republicans in the upcoming who once described the bill as a 'big beautiful' win for America, was clearly frustrated. After Musk's remarks, Trump responded with his own attacks, threatening to cancel SpaceX and Starlink contracts, a move that would have significant implications for U.S. space tensions immediately impacted Tesla's stock. On Thursday, shares dropped by 14%, wiping out a staggering $150 billion in value—the largest single-day loss in the company's history. On Friday, the stock made a slight recovery, but uncertainty remains Musk warned that if Trump were to follow through with cutting SpaceX contracts, he would start decommissioning the Dragon spacecraft—the only American vehicle currently capable of transporting astronauts to the International Space Station. Although Musk later walked back that threat, it shows how serious the stakes have resistance to Trump's tax and spending plan is more than a personal disagreement—it's a major political hurdle. The bill has already passed the House of Representatives but faces a tougher battle in the Senate, where Republicans hold a slim majority. Without Musk's backing, and possibly his financial support, the party's unity is at Speaker Mike Johnson, who has reportedly been texting with Musk, hopes the issue will resolve. Last week, he said he'd reduce political spending, and just this Tuesday, he called for voters to 'fire all politicians who betrayed the American people.'The public feud also opens the door to more disruption within the GOP, especially as Silicon Valley donors and business leaders closely watch the spat. Some fear Musk may not just stop his support—he could actively mobilize against Trump's James Fishback, one of Musk's few vocal allies, called on the billionaire to apologize to Trump, noting, 'President Trump has shown grace and patience at a time when Elon's behavior is disappointing and frankly downright disturbing.'There's growing speculation about how this could all play out. Trump remains adamant about pushing his multi-trillion-dollar economic plan, but without the help of one of his most high-profile allies, the road ahead looks the scenes, political analysts warn that the GOP could suffer setbacks in the 2026 midterm elections if the Musk rift grows. While Musk hasn't entirely ruled out making peace—he responded 'You're not wrong' to a post urging reconciliation—it's clear the relationship is at a breaking public split also risks damaging consumer confidence in Tesla and trust in SpaceX's role in government programs. Elon Musk and Donald Trump's big ugly breakup of bromance: From Epstein files to Tesla stock — a timeline

Donald Trump vs Elon Musk: What started as a 'big, beautiful' bromance between US President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk ended in a public feud that escalated to a point of a possible no return. The very public spat between Donald Trump and Elon Musk reached its peak on Thursday when the Tesla CEO launched a barrage of attacks on the President on social media. Here is everything that happened between Donald Trump and Elon Musk since he left the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Elon Musk last week announced his decision to leave the White House and DOGE, citing that his tenure as a special government employee had come to an end. 'As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending,' he said in a post on X. Days later, Trump announced he would organise a press conference with Elon Musk to bid him farewell. Everything between the duo seemed okay at the time, though Musk had previously criticised Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill' intended to cut taxes. Trump was full of praise for Musk. He called Musk 'one of the greatest business leaders and innovators the world has ever produced', seemingly downplaying the rift that was already brewing between them with the Tesla CEO being 'disappointed' with the provisions of the bill. The rift between the world's most powerful leader and the world's richest person took a public turn on June 3, with Elon Musk blasting Donald Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' of tax breaks and spending cuts as a 'disgusting abomination'. 'I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore,' Musk posted on X. 'This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.' However, Trump did not lash out like he typically does. Trump's silence did not stop Musk from backing off. On Thursday, the spat became very public when the Tesla CEO made a series of posts on X, sharing 2013 posts of the President. 'Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,' Musk claimed. He continued to make further claims, eventually dropping a bombshell that the Jeffery Epstein files were not released in full because Donald Trump was involved in the case. Eventually, Donald Trump let slip that he was disappointed in his former adviser, prompting Musk to unleash a flood of insults and taunts. Trump could hold back no longer. He posted that Musk had been 'wearing thin,' that he had 'asked him to leave' his administration, that the tech titan had 'gone CRAZY.' After a series of X posts lambasting the President and threatening to decommission a space capsule used to take astronauts and supplies to the International Space Station, Musk agreed that he would not do it. It was unclear how serious Musk's threat was, but several hours later — in a reply to another X user — he said he wouldn't do it. This gave way to some people thinking of a possible truce in sight, with Trump's White House aides reportedly arranging to schedule a call with the POTUS and Tesla CEO on Friday. However, quashing all hopes, a White House official said on Friday that Trump was not interested to talk to Musk, at least today. The White House official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters that no phone call between Trump and the Tesla CEO was planned for the day. Earlier, a different White House official had said the two were going to talk. Tesla shares rose on Friday, managing to claw back some steep losses from the previous session when it dropped 14 per cent and lost $150 billion in value, the largest single-day decline in the company's history.
