Following over 160,000 votes being cast, Deliveroo reveals winners of its 2025 Restaurant Awards, which celebrate the best and most loved local restaurants across the UK and Ireland. In Scotland, 11 restaurants have risen above fierce competition spanning across five regions, as passionate food enthusiasts cast their votes to support their favourite neighbourhood eateries. This year saw a total of 65 awards up for grabs, including the most prestigious, Independent Restaurant of the Year award, new categories for 2025, including 'Luke Littler x Deliveroo Best Kebab Award', which was brought back by the darts champion after a three-year hiatus. As well as the Rising Star Award, judged by Tilly Ramsay, with CEO & co-founder of Deliveroo, Will Shu, and an expert panel. Oxfordshire restaurant 'full of flavour' among UK's best in Deliveroo Awards

An Oxford restaurant has been named among Deliveroo's top places to eat in its 2025 awards. SHIN Ramen, in Gloucester Green, was a finalist in the food delivery service's Independent Restaurant of the Year category. This year saw a total of 65 awards up for grabs, with more than 160,000 votes cast by fans keen to show support for their favourite local restaurants. SHIN Ramen was featured among the best in the south east and Midlands region. Taking to Tripadvisor, customers are quick to commend the restaurant for its service and fresh food. One reviewer said: 'This is the most underrated place. 'What amazing food, never heard of the place before, would go back again and again. 'Debby and Alayna were stars, and the service was fab.' Another added: 'Food was served quickly, it was full of flavour. 'I recommend the lobster ramen. The ramen with fried chicken on the side also had delicious spices in the batter.' Deliveroo's Restaurant Awards celebrate and recognise the best and most-loved restaurants across the country – from local independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes, cuisines, and flavours in between. A Deliveroo spokesperson said: 'Whether they're slinging perfect pizzas at 2am or crafting those fancy, envy-of-the-office poké bowls, we're so excited to reveal our culinary champions of the year.' TikTok viral hotspot, CRUNCH, in London, was crowned the overall winner as Independent Restaurant of the Year. From best Chinese and best burgers to the most scrumptious pizza and delectable chicken spot, Ireland's top takeaways have been revealed. Food delivery app Deliveroo announced the winners of its 2025 Restaurant Awards on Wednesday after more than 160,000 votes were cast around the country as food businesses battled it out for one of the many awards up for grabs. Launched in 2018, Deliveroo's Restaurant Awards aim to celebrate and recognise the very best restaurants across the country. The Irish winners of the Deliveroo 2025 Restaurant Awards are: 2025 marks the introduction of several new awards, including Best Middle Eastern cuisine. The inaugural winner of this award is Reyna in Dublin. Aylin Aydin, Reyna: "Wow, I can't believe we've won! It's incredible to be named Deliveroo's Best Middle Eastern restaurant in Ireland. 'Huge thanks to everyone who voted – your support means everything. We're looking forward to serving up our award-winning Middle Eastern dishes to Dublin locals for a long time to come." One of the most hotly contested awards in Ireland is Best Burger, which was won this year by Galway's Smashbird. Orla and Fraser Scott from Smashbird: "We can't believe it — we actually did it! The team here at Smashbird Galway are absolutely buzzing to have won Deliveroo's award for Best Burgers & American in Ireland! 'Huge love and thanks to every legend who voted for us — your support means the world. We're proud to be reppin' Galway with our award-winning burgers, and we can't wait to keep smashing it for years to come!"
