21 Mar - Lee Jun-ho, popular actor and member of the second-generation boy group 2PM, is officially parting ways with JYP Entertainment after a remarkable 17-year partnership. JYP confirmed the news on 20 March, announcing that Jun-ho's exclusive contract will expire on April 15th. According to their statement, both parties reached this decision following extensive discussions, "After a long period of deep discussion, our company and the artiste have decided not to proceed with renewing the contract." "We sincerely thank Junho for accompanying the company's growth and journey for 17 years," the agency added, acknowledging his significant contributions. The two parties decided not to renew the contract that will expire next month, but the label will continue to oversee his activities in Japan where he has released seven EPs as a solo singer. In response, a representative from Taecyeon's agency, 51K, clarified, "The photos were not part of a marriage proposal." They explained, "The images, taken last year to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday, were unfortunately leaked and spread online." The representative added, "Taecyeon continues to have a strong relationship with his girlfriend, as he always has. While he may consider marriage in the future, there are no immediate plans at this time." Ok Taecyeon, commonly known as Taecyeon, is a South Korean singer, actor, and rapper.
