Three-car garage: three of Nissan's best for £50,000

Brand loyalty really is quite something and occasionally it can lead to us making decisions that might seem strange on the outside, but in fact are perfectly reasonable. For instance, you could have an excellent sports car, an electric car and a family SUV all on your drive - all from Nissan. First up, let's start with the fun one - the Nissan 370Z – although this is no ordinary 370Z, because it's the Nismo version. For the uninitiated, Nismo is Nissan's performance division, and it performs a similar role to the one played by AMG for Mercedes these days. In the 370Z Nismo you'll find the output of its naturally aspirated 3.7-litre V6 is lifted from the regular car's 324bhp to 339bhp, with all that power going to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. There's also a bodykit, sports exhaust and 19-inch alloy wheels, which all combined to make the Nismo version cost over £10,000 more than the standard 370Z when it was new. Used Nissan 370Z deals The Nissan Leaf remains a solid entry point into the world of electric hatchbacks and, in the used market, hefty depreciation adds a whole new layer of appeal. A comparable Kia Niro EV or Volkswagen ID.3 would cost several thousand pounds more, but for less than £13,000 you can get a two-year-old example of the latest Leaf. A range of 168 miles isn't the best (that's where the Qashqai and 370Z come in), but the Leaf will be cheap to run, a doddle to drive and surprisingly refined. Used Nissan Leaf deals The original Nissan Qashqai was a game changer when it was launched in the mid-2000s, showing the world that people wanted a high-riding SUV that drove like a car and wasn't too focused on going off-road. The current edition is as good as ever and with the Visia trim of this model you get the smaller 17-inch wheels, which make the ride noticeably softer than on Qashqais with larger wheels. It's also a roomy car inside, feels well built and comes with an all-important feature for families with young children: rear doors that open by 90 degrees. If you weren't able to snap up this particular Nissan Qashqai in time, there are plenty of others available right now... Mobile County crash victims' families speak out on motorcycle safety

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The families of the three killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday in Wilmer are now recovering from their loss. Mobile man reported missing in Kentucky found dead: McCracken County Sheriff's Office ALEA officials said around 10 p.m. Sunday, 21-year-old Elizabeth Hearn, 39-year-old Kristopher Dotson and 39-year-old Marcine Crawford Jr. were killed in the crash on Highway 158. They were pronounced dead on the scene. Hearn was a passenger in a Ford Mustang when it collided head-on with four motorcycles, according to an ALEA release. 'I couldn't cry; I lay in the bed, couldn't go to sleep. Just so many memories of him, good memories because we would have a ball,' Dotson's aunt, Michele Dotson, said. Dotson's family said that he had just bought the motorcycle two months prior and joined the biker group. He was coming back from a biker trip to Texas. 'In our last conversation, he was telling me about the ride they were doing that weekend, which they were coming back from,' Dotson's cousin, Lerone Wiley, said. His family said he was excited to join the biker family and looked forward to the adventures ahead. However, the family now sees this crash as a reminder to drivers to watch for motorcyclists. 'The respect for bikes on the roads now is not what it used to be,' Wiley said. 'People don't give the same respect; they used to just kind of get out of the way or make sure they had the right of way, now you treat them like you have four wheels and the protection that you have in the car.' The family of Hearn told : 'She loved to be the center of attention. She loved to give compliments to strangers. She saw so much beauty in the world. She was an adventurer who loved the beach and traveling. She was also a 'car girl.' She had a 370Z sports car that she loved to modify and tinker with. She knew all kinds of sports car facts. Blair would attend a meeting with strangers and friends called Coffee and Cars where sports car enthusiasts would meet up to talk about and show off their cars while also having a little coffee. Blair had a wicked sense of humor and could make people laugh. She has a charismatic personality that drew people to her.' 'We can't live here anymore': Orange Beach property owner in four-year battle with rising water The details of the crash are still under investigation. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
