No winners of major lotto draws on Sunday, June 1, 2025
There were no winners of either of the major lotto jackpots offered by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Sunday, June 1, 2025. No bettor chose the winning combination of 17-28-33-02-49-20 for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot, which has risen to P90,813,300.00. There was also no winning bettor for the Superlotto 6/49 prize of P44,911,436.80, with nobody choosing the winning numbers 27-19-23-06-38-10. Survivor Season 50: Here's complete list of cast revealed by CBS and release window of upcoming season
CBS has announced the cast for Survivor Season 50. Host Jeff Probst shared the list during CBS Mornings and confirmed the season will premiere in Spring 2026. The season features 24 returning contestants. Two of them are from the upcoming Season 49. For the first time, fans helped shape the gameplay. Fan Involvement Fans voted earlier this year on important aspects of the season. They helped decide if hidden idols would be included. They also voted on whether fire-making challenges should return. Fans also gave their input on the location of the finale and reunion show. As a result, the reunion will be held in Los Angeles. Jeff Probst said he was surprised by fan choices. Many viewers asked for fewer game twists in this milestone season. This ‘49 Ford Is Really A Bimmer
Read the full story on Backfire News While it's obvious this '49 Ford Shoebox has been modified, few would expect that under the skin it's really a 2008 BMW 335i. After all, the guy who built this car claims it's the first of its kind and we believe him. This is a crazy project, just the kind we love the would build such a car? A shop called Maniacs Garage, of course. More of a side project than a professional outfit, they stated off with the Ford which had been partially chopped a couple of decades before, but never was finished. Maniacs knew the plan was to swap the '49's body onto a more modern, potent vehicle. When a friend crashed his BMW 335i, they made a move, buying the German coupe off the insurance company, then hacking it apart before dropping the Ford's body onto it. Of course, the fit wasn't perfect but some things worked in the Maniacs' favor. As you can see from the video chronicling the build's progress, everyone had a lot of fun with figuring things out. That always made a tedious project far more enjoyable. What most people have seen is the finished product, which might not look like much to the untrained eye. But we know these guys put in a lot of sweat, blood, and tears into this build. Of course, these guys didn't just leave the E92 BMW completely stock, as you can clearly see with the rather large turbo protruding above the hood. They ditched the small factory snails, replacing them with the beast 62mm Garrett that's both oil and water cooled. Plus, the exhaust exits out of the back of the turbo assembly, adding to the industrial vibe of this build. If you watch the Autotopia LA walkthrough, you get a good rundown on the build details, plus you get to see this ride in action – it's a hoot. But Ford fans aren't going to like this build one bit. D49 delays vote on resolution to recognize two sexes
(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — School District 49's Board of Education conducted its monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 26, and while on the agenda, it did not reach a consensus on a vote for a resolution involving only acknowledging two sexes. The resolution, 'Protecting Safety and Privacy for Boys and Girls in All School Settings,' says it prioritizes student safety 'as embodied in the purposes and language of Title IX' and also complies with President Donald Trump's executive order, declaring that 'it is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female.' During the meeting, President Lori Thompson noted the board had received several emails, both for and against the resolution. 'I value privacy, and I want to see every one of our students heard and kept safe,' Thompson said. 'Kids, no matter what their opinion is, I want them to be heard and to be safe.' The resolution looks to update any procedures, guidelines or agreements to be consistent with the knowledge of two sexes: male and female. It also seeks to ensure restrooms and locker rooms are separate for both sexes and to make sure males are not competing as females in sporting events. According to Treasurer Mike Heil, the resolution goes against state law. Heil also commented that he suspects no transgender children are in a locker room and 'zero' transgender children are involved in sports. When asked by a student representative, Thompson said the resolution was pre-emptive because they didn't know what would happen with federal funding and the district has not received any direction. 'We're kind of left in the wind right now,' Thompson said. 'It's really difficult to know the way forward because there will be a clear conflict between federal executive orders, state laws, what could come down with strings for funding, and that's part of the joy of what the school board gets to navigate… the purpose is to be pre-emptive because we don't have a lot of leeway when it comes to our financial situation at District 49 and we want to respect families of different beliefs systems. Most importantly, we want to respect the privacy of our students and how they feel about it as well.' According to Thompson, the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHASA) has not taken a position, and she has been in discussions to start a petition for the organization to take a stand on the matter.
