Supportive, stylish and secretly structured, we've found the very best built-in bra tops on the high street, and tried out best-selling styles from Uniqlo and Primark When the sun's out and the layers come off, the last thing anyone wants to deal with is an uncomfortable bra or exposed straps, which is exactly why built-in bra tops are having a major moment this summer. Whether you're after easy everyday comfort or subtle support that doesn't ruin the look of your outfit, these clever tops are the ultimate warm-weather staple. Uniqlo was one of the first high street brands to launch these handy tops all the way back in 2008, but it was a couple of years ago that they really started to go viral. UNIQLO Since launching, Uniqlo's collection of bra tops has expanded so much, even into dresses. From camis to halternecks and of course, the viral AIRism tops, there are so many options to choose from. I tested out a few last week, and found my winners in the Open Back Halter Neck Bra Top, priced at £19.90 and the AIRism Sleeveless Bra Top, priced at £19.90. I especially love that the halter neck top has a lower back, which usually would restrict bra use, but instead supports the chest while allowing your back to be on also have built-in bra dresses to choose from, which is a real game-changer. From cute AIRism tennis dresses to flattering striped maxis, these picks are the perfect summer wardrobe addition. PRIMARK Primark's built-in bra tops have been cropping up a lot on Instagram and TikTok, and are easily the most affordable option available. There aren't as many styles or colours available as there are with Uniqlo's ones, however, for the price they are a great basic to have in your summer wardrobe. The Built-in Bra Cami Top is priced at £8 and comes in four different colourways, including a trendy powder blue and a ditsy floral print. Again, if you wanted to wear a bra with such a thinly strapped camisole like this one, you would just have to accept your bra straps showing through. However, with the built-in bra, you can get actual support while wearing the clothes that you want to. Shop in your local Primark BRAVISSIMO If you've got a fuller chest, Bravissimo is the place to shop for supportive bras, bikini's and bra-tops. Designed specifically to help bigger busts, their bra tops have a built-in wired and padded bra, complete with a hidden hook-and-eye fastening for extra support. And they've been specially designed to keep you feeling secure and comfortable, as well as being made from high quality and super-soft fabric that feels great against the skin SHOP BRA TOPS: Bandeau Vest Top With Built-In Bra, priced at £49, and Non Padded Strappy Top With Built-In Bra, priced at £46. SKIMS Ok, so not necessarily a high street brand (although they have just announced a physical Skims store is coming to the UK), but talking about underwear and shapewear without including Skims is pretty hard. And their bra tops have shopper reviews to back them of their tops don't explicitly have 'built-in bra' in the name like some other brands, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Many of their styles, including their tube tops, feature a built-in shelf bra, so you can still wear traditionally unsupportive styles such as camis and bandeaus without worrying about what to wear underneath.

Foreshadowing another long, scorching summer, temperatures reached 30 degrees Celsius in central Tokyo for the first time this year on Tuesday. Officials are urging caution against heatstroke, advising air conditioner use and frequent water intake as our bodies aren't yet accustomed to the heat. In some landlocked areas, such as Yamanashi Prefecture's Otsuki city, the temperature surpassed 34 degrees Celsius. Understanding Heatstroke Symptoms: Some of the main symptoms are fatigue, dizziness, headaches, excessive sweating and nausea. In severe cases, a high body temperature, seizures or loss of consciousness can occur. If you experience symptoms: Immediately move to a cool place with shade or go inside and make sure the air conditioner is on. Remove excess clothing, cool the body with water or ice and replenish fluids and salt. If symptoms are severe: call an ambulance (119 in Japan) immediately. Uniqlo's 'summer staple' £24.90 dress is 'flattering' and 'comfy'
Uniqlo customers are lavishing praise on a "beautiful" midi dress that's proving very popular online. The retailer, renowned for its trendy and wallet-friendly fashion, might just have unveiled a new summer must-have. The AIRism Cotton T-shirt Dress, retailing at £24.90, is offered in an array of hues including black, pink, light orange, natural, olive, and navy. It comes in sizes ranging from XXS to XL. This dress boasts 'AIRism' technology fabric with a cotton-like appearance, a "comfortable, relaxed cut", handy side pockets, and a ribbed crew neck. Uniqlo claims the longer sleeves and hem "add a touch of cool style in the one piece that completes your look." For those on the hunt for the perfect summer dress, H&M is offering the smocked strappy dress at a reduced price of £12.75, down from £14.99. New Look presents the Cream Floral Print Frill Sleeve Midi Dress for £37.99, while River Island features the chic £69 Khaki Short Sleeve Cutwork Midi Dress. The Uniqlo dress has garnered a stellar 4.7-star rating online. Amongst the glowing reviews, one customer remarked: "Perfect dress. This basic dress is so comfy and suitable for any occasion," reports the Mirror. Another commented: "Excellent as a lounge dress, very comfortable and good for warmer weather." A third shared: " Light and flowy. Thinner than the traditional cotton t-shirts. Very light and very comfortable to wear." However, one customer claimed the colour of their dress was different upon arrival. They stated: "I bought the dress in pink, but it is nothing like in the pictures. It is actually brown, a lot darker. I like the dress otherwise, but the colour is just ugly." The majority of the reviews were positive, with one shopper writing: "Beautiful dress. This fits perfectly-I'm a size medium, and it hugs just right. I absolutely love the material; it's incredibly soft and flexible thanks to the cotton and elastic blend. Super comfortable and flattering. I definitely recommend it!" Another added: "Summer staple. I already have some items in the Airism material, so I was keen to try the T-shirt dress. It is a lovely, flattering fit on the top and flares out nicely. I'm petite so it is a maxi length on me and I think it will be great for work or casual wear too. Others claimed the sizing was off with the product, writing: "I am 5'2" and after filling in my weight, height, age, preferred fit, etc. , I went for the size you recommend for me - XL - and I was completely swamped...I am sorry about the fit of the dress because it should have been easy to wear and suitable for many occasions, instead it is going back and I shall ignore your "recommended size" in future." Despite this, some shoppers said they'd be wearing it no matter the season. One shopper said: " Beautiful shape! I am so impressed with the quality and price of this product. I bought it in the gorgeous olive green colour.

The dress features 'AIRism' fabric with the look of cotton, a "comfortable, relaxed cut", side pockets and a ribbed, crew neckline. Numerous shoppers have left five-star ratings for the Khaki Green version. Heidi was impressed and revealed her intention to purchase more, commenting: "Lovely dress, fits nice, twist detail on front of dress is very flattering, great length, can easily be dressed up or down, so good ordered it in another colour." Tracy said: "Love these T-shirt dresses I have bought at least 5, great quality. Wash well." Another customer said: "Great little dress for the summer with a pair of trainers, I ended up going up a size just for a better fit." Yet, there was a less satisfied customer who said: "Badly cut, neck too high, not good cotton jersey fabric."
