Amazon reduces kitchen gadget loved by Stacey Solomon from £30 to £17 – it will slash your meal prep times
AMAZON shoppers are rushing to snap up a time-saving kitchen gadget that's been slashed by 43%. The retail giant has reduced this 6-in-1 vegetable chopper - which has over 24,000 five-star reviews - from £29.99 to just £16.99. Fullstar 6-in-1 Vegetable Chopper, £29.99 £16.99 BUY FROM AMAZON The Fullstar vegetable chopper has been purchased over 5,000 times in July and is an 'Amazon's Choice' product, which are well-priced, highly-rated items with fast shipping. The last great kitchen deal we spotted on Amazon was on a Ninja knife block during the Prime Day sale. This deal, by contrast, is available to everyone, not just Prime subscribers. Stacey Solomon took to Instagram earlier in the month to praise the nifty chopper, saying: 'Loads of you have asked for a link to my veg chopper, I really rate it. I have to whack it sometimes, but it's the easiest way to make a super chopped salad IMO.' Perfect for summer salad season, this handy little chopper contains six stainless steel blades, a finger guard, and a cleaning brush. These six blades include a fine dicer, a medium dicer, a grater, a shredder, a julienne (ribbon) blade, and a slicer. That means you can grate cheese, dice an onion, julienne a courgette, and plenty more - this is a great chance to spice up and speed up your mealtimes. Whether you're trying to jazz up a plate of veggies for your kids or you're struggling with old, dulled kitchen knives, this Amazon deal looks like a smart purchase. The blades are not only extra-sharp (hence the safety features and finger guard) but they're strong and durable too, made of 420J stainless steel. The extra-hard ABS plastic container can take use after use, not cracking under all the vegetables being chopped, no matter how thick or coarse. The chopper would also suit those who are getting less able to cook and be nimble in the kitchen, as the device requires 'only a little pressure to chop' and creates less mess and washing up in the meantime. Amazon shoppers have already taken to the review section to rave about this smart chopper, praising its functionality, ease of use, and value for money. Many customers have commented on how efficient it made cooking and meal prep. 'If you want to save time in the kitchen, you need this! It's a great buy,' writers one buyer. Another says: 'This contraption is AMAZING! It saves so much time in the kitchen.' Others have loved the impact it's had on kids and fussy eaters, with one parent commenting: '[It] converted my children to salad eaters. They don't normally eat salad, but they enjoyed this device so much they ate large plates of [it] for dinner after!' This isn't the only Amazon deal the Sun Shopping team has written about recently. Anyone look for iPhone charging should look at an 'ultra-slim' Magsafe power bank slashed from £160 to £20. Those looking for protection against the sun and rain in this summer shouldn't miss a garden gazebo that's been cut by 21%.

8 Best Pore Strips for a Congestion-Free T-Zone
When it comes to quick fixes for clogged pores, the best pore strips have long held a beloved spot in skin-care routines worldwide. There's something undeniably satisfying about peeling away a strip and seeing the visible evidence of impurities (think: blackheads and sebaceous filaments) lifted from your skin. Beyond their instant gratification, pore strips provide an effective way to deep-clean areas prone to blackheads, such as the nose, chin, and forehead. They act like a magnet, drawing out excess oil and debris that can clog pores and lead to breakouts. In the age of TikTok skin-care experts, pore strips have gotten a bad rep—but you don't have to toss away the category as a whole. 'Using pore strips occasionally isn't harmful, but frequent use can sometimes irritate the skin,' says board certified dermatologist Dr. Dara Spearman. Plus, the pore strips of 2025 are a far cry from their Y2K predecessors, which tore off skin with a vengeance—evolution in the category has led to gentler hydrocolloid and biocellulose patches that equally, if not more effective. Meanwhile, K-beauty alternatives offer sebum-melting oils and treatments that ditch adhesive patches altogether. Dr. Spearman adds, 'While traditional strips provide quick results, K-beauty techniques offer a gentler, long-term way to care for your pores. It really comes down to what works best for your skin.' Vogue's Favorite Sheet Masks In This Story While pore strips aren't a comprehensive solution for long-term skin health, their benefits as a targeted, affordable, and satisfying cleansing method remaining clear in between proper facial appointments—particularly when combined with consistent skin-care routines. Scroll to discover our favorite blackhead-beating nose and T-zone strips to unclog pores and leave skin feeling fresh. Amazon axing popular freebie that helped customers ‘earn £100s' in just days and shoppers are furious
Plus, we reveal other ways you can earn money online ALL CHANGE Amazon axing popular freebie that helped customers 'earn £100s' in just days and shoppers are furious Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AMAZON is axing a popular freebie in days, and shoppers are furious. The major online retailer said its Receipts Program will end in the UK on August 1. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Amazon receipts program is changing for customers Currently, customers can upload receipts for products they bought from rival shops via the Amazon shopping panel, and earn money back. Shoppers earn 10p for each receipt they upload. Alternatively, they can upload 50 receipt pictures to get the maximum reward of £5. Panellists were alerted to the change via a notification in the app. The move has sparked fury among customers, with many taking to social media to complain. Writing in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, one shopper said: "I'm gutted I get £7-8 a month from it and it all adds up. While another added: "Oh no! I've got £141 since I've been doing it. Don't get many surveys, some months I don't get any, so not worth keeping." And a third moaned: "Gutted, over £200 since I started doing it." It is not the first time the retail giant has made changes to this feature. Back in October, shoppers were left heartbroken after Amazon said shoppers would need to upload 50 receipts instead of 10 to get the £5 reward. Amazon 'hiking' prices ahead of Prime Day after shoppers claim company 'great savings' aren't real Panellists can still earn rewards through completing surveys for Amazon. The amount customers earn varies per survey and you can see the amount before choosing to complete the survey. The Sun has approached Amazon for comment. How does the Amazon shopper panel work? The shopper Panel is an opt-in, invitation-only program where participants can earn monthly rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside of Amazon. Once you receive a notification, customers can download the app from the app store or the Google Play store. Before you join, you may be put on a waiting list and you will be sent an email when you can join. As well as uploading receipts to earn cash, users can also take part in surveys and enable ad verification for extra rewards. The amount you can earn per survey varies, but you will be able to see how much you can earn before you take part. Enrolling in ad verification - allowing Amazon to see the ads that appear on your phone - can earn you £2 per month. If you decide the app isn't for you, you can stop using it anytime. More ways to make money online There are plenty of other websites that pay you for completing surveys or other tasks. For example, Swagbucks has paid out millions globally and reward users for surveys, watching clips and browsing the web. Regular users report earning upwards of £300 a year for just 15 minutes of their time. Expect to earn around 50p a survey which will typically take up to 20 minutes. You can get your payouts either as PayPal cash or shopping vouchers. Elsewhere, Opinium is used by top firms for research. Surveys pay 50p on average and take around five minutes, you'll have to work up to £25 before you can get a payout. Get your money through cash with a bank transfer or gift vouchers.

The app also runs a partnership with furniture store IKEA, where "taskers" get paid to assemble flat pack furniture for its customers, meaning a steady stream of work. Share deals and get paid If you find a good deal you could get paid for sharing it with others. Some sites give people vouchers for sharing the deals they find in stores and online. LatestDeals is a money-saving community in the UK and they hand out vouchers for people who share deals on its website. Members of LatestDeals earn points and Amazon vouchers, for sharing deals, vouchers, competitions and commenting and voting on deals. You have to get to a minimum of 5,000 points before you get a £5 Amazon voucher. There's a guide to how many points you can earn for different activities on the website. Earn cashback Cashback sites are becoming more and more popular as shoppers become more savvy. A cashback site will give you cash back when you spend money online. TopCashback and Quidco are two of the most popular and sometimes you can earn hundreds. The Quidco website states that their average member earns around £300 per year. When you're shopping, make sure you click through the websites to get some extra cash. Both have widgets you can download and add to your browser so you never forget. They are free to use but there are plus memberships that cost £5 a year and can give you a higher rate of cashback.
