It comes after a string of exciting concerts in cities including Berlin, Milan, Zurich and London. And Amy, who hails from Bishopbriggs near Glasgow, is launching her sixth studio album Is This What You've Been Waiting For? She said: 'I feel very lucky to be in the place I am now. "I've got this career, good friends, my family, and people still seem to want to hear my music, which is great. "There's a realness in me, something raw, honestly I'm winging it most of the time.' Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter is also taking on the festival circuit, with appearances at Isle of Wight and the Neighbourhood Weekender. Amy burst onto the music scene in 2007 and has released an impressive five albums. Her records have sold millions of copies and she has become a massive star in European countries like Germany and Denmark as well as the UK. She released her fifth studio album The Human Demands in October 2020. In 2018, she released a 'Best Of' album of hits from her back catalogue. Her debut album This Is The Life was released in 2007. It sold more than three million copies and she has sold more than 12 million records in total.
