FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was seriously hurt Sunday afternoon following a wreck between a motorcycle and another vehicle. It happened around 2:40 p.m. in the 500 block of West Lucas Street near Pecan Street. A portion of West Lucas Street remains closed as crews work to clear the scene. MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.(WBTW) — Myrtle Beach police are investigating a shooting along South Ocean Boulevard that sent a person to the hospital. Officers responded to the 1400 block shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday. The person's condition was not immediately disclosed. An increased law enforcement presence will remain in the area as the investigation continues. People are asked to avoid the area. HORRY COUNTY, S.C.(WBTW) — Four people were hurt including at least one in critical condition following a Saturday afternoon wreck outside Conway. Horry County Fire Rescue crews were sent to the area of Highway 378 and Pitts Landing Road just before 5 p.m., the agency said in a Facebook post. Three vehicles were involved and extrication was required. Officials said the roadway will be closed off for an extended period of time. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating along with the Conway Fire Department. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Myrtle Beach police officer sustained a gunshot injury Sunday night near Harbourgate Marina and remains in stable condition at Grand Strand Medical Center. This evening, while responding to an unrelated call for service in the Little River area, a North Myrtle Beach Police Officer experienced an accidental discharge of his service weapon, resulting in an injury to his leg,' the department said in a Sunday night Facebook post. 'We are grateful for the quick response of medical personnel and assisting agencies.'
