'The momentum was there'
BBC Radio Leeds' Adam Pope believes Leeds United's win over Everton was hugely important with the international break on the horizon, along with games against Arsenal and told BBC Sport: "I'm not saying the board is thinking of making an early change or anything like that but if there are no points on the board three games in, you know what the clamour will be like, particularly around the Premier League and the fanbases, wanting changes and what have you. "It was crucial for Daniel Farke to get those points on the board. "Nine maybe ten wins will probably do it, to get one early on - superb. "The momentum was there. It was like they felt they carried on from last season."

'Worse off now than in Championship' - Leeds' attacking options
Leeds United's attacking options are a "concern" for BBC Radio Leeds' Adam Pope with the Whites having made zero recruitments in that area so far this summer."You add into the mix that Patrick Bamford is now not a part of his Daniel Farke's plans and Lukas Nmecha was a free agent, so basically they're worse off now than in the Championship," Pope said on the Don't Go To Bed Just Yet podcast."At no point when we asked Farke [after Leeds drew 1-1 to AC Milan in a friendly on Saturday] about solving the problem in the next week did he suggest he felt something was close to being sorted."Listen to the full episode of Don't Go To Bed Just Yet on BBC Sounds

'Have to pay big money' - so who should Leeds sign upfront?
Leeds United will need to pay "big money" for a striker who will score goals in the Premier League, according to BBC Radio Leeds' Adam Pope and Jonny Buchan on the latest episode of Don't Go To Bed Just said: "I still think a goalkeeper and a centre-forward are key areas [to strengthen]. You're not going to get a striker for under £25m are you?""And the rest if you want somebody who is actually going to score goals in the Premier League," Buchan added."If you want to buy somebody who is at a Premier League club, who has scored goals in the Premier League, you're not going to pay any less than £25m. But I think equally to lure somebody to the bottom end of the Premier League - which is what Leeds will be next season... let's all be honest about it - you're going to have to pay big money to get somebody out of a club."And of course, pay big wages as well."Listen to the full episode on BBC SoundsWho would you suggest as a realistic striker target?
