Driver in custody after crashing into Denver area sports bar; three hospitalized

Three people were taken to the hospital after a driver crashed into a sports bar just north of Denver. The crash was reported just before 1 a.m. on Sunday at the Ugly Dog Sports Cafe at 1345 Cortez St. Photos posted by the Adams County Sheriff's Office show a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on the outdoor patio area of the cafe, with windshield and front-end damage, crashed up against at least one table. The driver, who has not yet been identified, is in custody, the sheriff's office said, but the investigation has since been turned over to Colorado State Patrol. CSP did not immediately respond to a request for more information. There was also no word on the condition of the three injured people.

WAUTOMA, Wis. (WFRV) – Two adults in Wautoma were arrested and charged this week for multiple alleged sex crimes against children, with one who allegedly had incest with their stepchild. According to a release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office, a 39-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were arrested on August 11 and formally charged on Wednesday. Green Bay man gets 26 years in prison for several repeat drug dealing offenses The release said the man was facing five charges. His cash bond was set at $50,000. Westminster police officers arrested two suspects in Colorado, along with assistance from Adams County Sheriff's deputies, after a traffic stop that revealed some interesting evidence. Westminster police said officers pulled over a vehicle near 84th and Federal Boulevard on Wednesday. Fentanyl pills were seized during a traffic stop along with other drugs, license plates, a "hacking tips" notebook, and bags of burglary tools. Adams County Officers said they spotted drug paraphernalia in plain view and that the passenger in the vehicle had two active warrants. Colorado K9 officer captures suspect wanted in connection with hostage situation

A K9 officer with the Adams County Sheriff's Office helped capture a suspect wanted in connection with a hostage situation after a pursuit in Colorado. Late Monday night, Commerce City police were notified about a protection order violation in the Belle Creek area. When officers arrived, they learned that the suspect had been holding the victim hostage inside a residence. According to officers, the suspect vehicle was located with the suspect inside near the residence. He was alone in the vehicle but tried to get away. CBS Officers said they pursued the suspect into Denver and that's when the Colorado State Patrol used the grappler device to wrap the rear tire of the suspect vehicle. That ended the pursuit near 58th and I-25. During the pursuit, some traffic on I-25 was stopped. The suspect tried to run away and was captured by an Adams County Sheriff's K9 officer. The suspect is facing several charges, including felony menacing, second-degree assault, and felony eluding.

DENVER (KDVR) — An adult man was found dead last night by Adams County Sheriff's deputies responding to a call of shots fired at a house party at 7611 Gilpin St. at approximately midnight. The man was found in the street by deputies and was later confirmed to be deceased by medical personnel, the sheriff's office said. The house where the shooting occurred is located between Washington and York in Welby in Adams County. FOX31 Newsletters: Sign up to get breaking news sent to your inbox Witnesses to the shooting were able to tell investigators where the suspect lived and, while conducting surveillance of his residence, the sheriff's office said on X that he was seen getting into a vehicle and was 'quickly taken into custody without incident.'
