Aima Baig is tempted to launch jewellery line

In an Instagram Story shared recently, Aima Baig flaunted layers of jewellery that adorned her neck, ears, wrists, and fingers. In the video, the singer adjusted her multiple necklaces while tucking her hair behind her ear to reveal a crescent-style earring. Rings glimmered on her fingers as she raised her hand to show off her wrist watch and bracelets. Although Aima didn't wear anything fancier than a casual shirt and jeans, she sported a big smile to show that she was satisfied with the bling she added to the overall look with her accessories. "Layering up jewels gives me chills. In a good way, of course," she wrote. As inspiration struck, she asked her followers if she should launch her own jewellery line. Whether or not the Baanware singer decides to commit to this endeavour remains to be seen. For now, she's thriving in her career as a musician. Earlier this month, she won the Lux Style Award for Most Stylish Musician of the Year (Critics' Choice) for Satrangi. Expressing gratitude for the accolade on Instagram, she wrote, "Thank you so much. I'm truly humbled." The feat caught the attention of Strings alum Faisal Kapadia, who said in the comments, "Many congratulations! We need a treat." Aima's beau, Rastah founder Zain Ahmad, also offered his support, lighting up her comments with fire emojis. Fans were also quick to offer their heartfelt congratulations, flooding the section with heart emojis. "You deserve it, my girl," a user wrote, echoing the sentiments of many others including fans from beyond Pakistan. Last month, Aima performed for her dedicated international fans in Bangladesh. Sharing the concert photos, she wrote, "Thank you for all the love, Bangladesh. You guys were truly magical, and a huge shout out to Yamaha for putting together an amazing stage."

Haroon releases new song with Aima Baig

Haroon has joined forces with Aima Baig to release a new uplifting track Cha Jaa, the official soundtrack for the children's animated TV series Planet Champs. The singer's high-energy music video serves up a charming mix of live-action and animation, which he has produced under his Unicorn Black Production umbrella. As per its official YouTube description, the track revolves around overcoming adversity and chasing your dreams while also carrying a powerful message about protecting the environment. Last week, the reclusive musician dropped heavy hints on his Instagram handle that fans should expect a new song very soon. Alongside a reel flickering through the highlights of his career, Haroon gave a rundown of his pet projects. "Everywhere I go people ask me why I have disappeared from the scene. Literally EVERYONE asks me that," he captioned, acknowledging his fans' questions about his absence from the music scene. However, Haroon added that he had been involved in new ventures. "I've actually been incredibly busy working on various passion projects that consumed me," explained the Dil Se singer. "And although I loved working on these projects, sadly somewhere along the way, music took a backseat. This video sums up what I've been up to over the last few years." In his own words, the singer-songwriter has evolved the way he tells stories. "Most of you know me as just Haroon the singer, for which I don't blame you because that's what I did for many years," he said in his reel. "For a while now, I've been keeping very busy doing many things. I found a love for production and direction while working on my own music videos. That's when I decided to do this on a bigger scale and set up my own production company called Unicorn Black Production. We worked on film ideas, music, and TV shows." For the unversed, Haroon transitioned to animation after the success of his Emmy Award-nominated and Peabody Award-winning superhero series Burka Avenger (2013). Speaking about the impact the show had had on his career, the artist added in his reel, "I never thought I'd stop making music, but when Burka Avenger came out, it exploded on the global stage. It became huge. And then we became inundated with offers to do more seasons. Burka Avenger had become far bigger than Haroon." Haroon sang the Burka Avenger soundtrack song Baba Bandook alongside Ali Azmat and released his solo Dhundoonga in 2020. In the same year, he also collaborated with Azmat, Arif Lohar and Asim Azhar for the Pakistan Super League anthem Tayyar Hain.
