Shoaib Ibrahim , who has been a part of shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Ajooni, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, is very particular about his fitness and diet. The actor often gives fans a peek into his life through his vlogs. In a recent family vlog on YouTube, Shoaib offered a glimpse of his current diet, revealing that he's been enjoying a wholesome mix of uttapam, sambar, and omelette, a combination that's as tasty as it is healthy. Shoaib shared in the vlog, "Actually, for the past few days, since I came back from the hospital (he was at the hospital during Dipika's hospitalisation). I was having chai paratha or omelette paratha. But sab bol rahe the weak hogaye ho (everyone was saying that I looked weak). After a month, I decided to stop this habit and return to my diet. So, now I am eating uttapam, sambar, omelette…" He continued, "I got tired of having omelette every day, but since I'm not going to the gym right now, I still need protein from food. I get my protein from an omelette made with 3-4 egg whites, so today I decided to have it with sambar and uttapam." Shoaib's wife and actress Dipika joined him in the video and she was seen humorously pulling his leg for his weird food combinations. Dipika, who was hospitalized for stage 2 liver cancer surgery, was seen making fun of her husband for having Uttapam with omelette and sambar. She said, "Till today, I was the one being pulled up for enjoying bizarre combinations…now it is him. Uttapam with omelette and sambar…I have never heard of this combination, let alone eat it…and he is relishing it in front of me." Shoaib recently made Dipika's birthday a special one by gifting her jewellery like earrings, chain with pendant, bracelet and a ring. Later, they even enjoyed a family dinner. Shoaib Ibrahim Reveals Dipika Kakar's Tumour Was ‘Aggressive': ‘Chances of Recurrence Are Significant'
Last Updated: Shoaib Ibrahim shared that wife Dipika Kakar's tumour was aggressive. Though she's recovering well, doctors warned of a significant risk of cancer recurrence. Last month was quite difficult for television couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim after the former was diagnosed with a stage 2 malignant tumour in her liver. She underwent surgery on June 2, and now, almost a month later, her husband Shoaib Ibrahim has shared an update on her recovery and what the doctors have advised. In a recent vlog on his YouTube channel, Shoaib revealed that as part of the recovery process, Dipika will undergo targeted therapy. He also recalled the day she had her first surgery on June 3. Shoaib said, 'I can't forget the date. I was sitting by the window, extremely worried, along with my friends who were supporting me. We were all waiting for the doctor's update. Now, a month has passed." Further in the vlog, the couple revealed that while there are currently no cancer cells in her body, the situation indicates a chance of recurrence. They shared, 'As far as the body is concerned, there are currently no cancer cells present. However, the biopsy report that we received and the PET scan we reviewed indicated a more serious situation. The tumour was classified as grade three and poorly differentiated, which means it was quite aggressive. Therefore, the chances of recurrence are significant. After the surgery, the doctor prescribed medication. Although there are no cancer cells now, if any are detected in the future, the dosage will be increased, and she will receive medication intravenously. Her treatment will begin next week and will last for about two years. Scans will be conducted every three weeks." Talking about the 38-year-old actress's health journey, last month, Dipika revealed that she is battling stage 2 liver cancer. The television star, known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, shared the heartbreaking update through an emotional Instagram note. After suffering intense stomach pain, doctors discovered a tumour 'the size of a tennis ball" in her liver, which was later confirmed to be cancerous. Since then, Shoaib has been sharing her health updates on social media. On the work front, Dipika Kakar was last seen in the first-ever season of Celebrity MasterChef. Dipika Kakar's 2-Year-Old Son Ruhaan Was 'Patient' During Her Cancer Surgery
Last Updated: Dipika Kakar recently underwent a 14-hour-long surgery at a Mumbai hospital. She was in ICU for three days and is still hospitalised. Shoaib Ibrahim has revealed that his 2-year-old son, Ruhaan, was patient while Dipika Kakar was in the hospital for her cancer surgery. In one of his recent YouTube vlogs, the former shared how Ruhaan was keeping without Dipika around and shared that the toddler has been spending time with the rest of the family members at home. 'It is commendable to see that Ruhaan has been fine. It is only a blessing that Ruhaan was patient and spent three days away from Dipika. He stayed without his mother, though Ammi, Beti Khala, Riza and everyone were there at home. But I am grateful that he was fine, he cried a lot yesterday night so we got him here. He met Dipika and played with her so he went back home happy with his Nani," Shoaib said. The former Ajooni actor then expressed gratitude towards fans and added, 'I am extremely grateful to everyone who has showered blessings and prayers for Dipika. Dil se bohot bohot shukriya. Her surgery was successful and she is safe now. Her tumour is completely out. Dipika's tumour is now taken for biopsy and the reports will come in a few days.
