"Al Set Lama" Drops First Set Photos as Production Begins
Yara Sameh Production has begun on veteran actress Yousra's upcoming light comedy film "Al Set Lama". A first-look images from the set of the film have been released featuring the acclaimed actress alongside Hamdy Marghany, who is making a cameo appearance in the pic. "Al Set Lama" also stars Maged El Masry, Amr Abdul Gelil, Ahmad Seyam, Dorra, Rania Mansour, Yasmin Raeis, Donia Sami, Entsar, and more. Khaled Abu Ghraib directs from a script by Kiro Ayman and Mohamed Badawy. The pic is produced by Rana and Nada El Sobky. Yousra made her last appearance on the big screen in the the romance-action film ' Shaqo ' (Brothers). The cast also includes Amr Youssef, Mohamed Mamdouh, Dina El Sherbiny, Amina Khalil, Abbas Abul-Hassan, Mohamed Gomaa, Walid Fawaz, and more. The star-studded film is scripted by Wissam Sabri, helmed by Karim El Sobky, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky. "Shaqo" debuted in the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon. Yousra, born on March 10, 1955, is an actress, a singer, a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The iconic cinematic legend is one of the most recognizable names in the region and has been gracing the silver screen for more than 50 years. Since the 1970s, Yousra has starred in some of the most important films in the history of Egyptian cinema, appearing in over 100 films. Dorra Joins Film "Al Set Lama"
Yara Sameh Tunisian actress, Dorra is the newest addition to veteran actress Yousra's upcoming light comedy film "Al Set Lama". She join an ensemble that will also include Maged El Masry, Amr Abdul Gelil, Rania Mansour, Yasmin Raeis, Donia Sami, and Entsar. Khaled Abu Ghraib directs from a script by Kiro Ayman and Mohamed Badawy. The pic, produced by Rana and Nada El Sobky, will commence shooting in the coming weeks. "Al Set Lama" marks Dorra's comeback to the big screen after three years of absence. She made her last onscreen appearance in film ' Godran '. The film is a classic horror with a touch of romance. It is directed by Mohamed Baraka and penned by Ahmed and Haitham El Dahan. 'Godran' focuses on a woman that goes on a journey to unfold the dark side of her family. The cast also includes Nicolas Mouawad, Ahmed Bedier, Firas Saayed, Hend Abdel Halim, and others. 'Godran' is produced by Cinepro production company, owned by Yasser Salah and Othman Abu Laban. Born on January 13, 1980, Dorra, full name Dorra Ibrahim Zarrouk, made her way into the acting industry by joining a theater group, where her first appearance was in the play 'Magnoun' (Crazy), directed by Tawfiq Al Gibally, which was followed by several roles at the Tunisian cinema. She also worked in many international projects such as English director Telman Reem's 'Collosseum' and French director Patrick Foulsan's 'Louisa's Journey'. The actress has been participating in Egyptian cinematic works since 2007. Her film credits also include "Judran", "El Kahen", 'Tisbah ala Khair', 'Mawlana', and 'Kedbet Kol Youm'. "Al Set Lama" Adds Yasmin Raeis to Cast
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis is the latest addition to veteran actress Yousra's upcoming light comedy film "Al Set Lama". Maged El Masry, Amr Abdul Gelil, and Rania Mansour are also on board to star. Khaled Abu Ghraib directs from a script by Kiro Ayman and Mohamed Badawy. The pic, produced by Rana and Nada El Sobky, will commence shooting in the coming weeks. Raeis made her last appearance on the big screen in the romance-comedy film " El Hana Elli Ana Feeh ". Dina El Sherbiny, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mariam El Gendy, Hatem Salah, and Dala Harby round out the cast. Ayman Bahgat Kamar directed the pic from a script by Khalid Marie. "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh" is produced by New Century Productions and co-produced with Hadoota, Square Media Production, Oscar Production and Distribution, Filmology Productions, and Bedaya Film Production. Dollar Film also handles the film's domestic distribution and Orient Films handles its worldwide distribution. "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh" hit theaters on December 18. The official logline for the film reads: "Ahmed, a quirky marriage counselor, is heartbroken when his wife, Eman, receives bad news from her doctor. To make sure their daughter has a loving mother figure after she's gone, Eman forces Ahmed to marry her attractive best friend Fawzeya, despite knowing he's always had a crush on her! As Ahmed and Fawzeya start to warm up to each other after their marriage, hilarious events unfold when they discover a mistake in Eman's diagnosis." Raeis, born in Cairo in 1985, made her acting debut in the 2010 TV series "Ard Khas" (Special Screening). She is best known for her roles in films "X Large", "Wahid Saheeh", "Al-Maslaha", "Soni'a Fi Misr", "Fatat Al Masna", "Hepta: El Mohadra El Akhyra", and "Al-Bahth An Um Kalthoum". Maged El Masry Boards Film "Al Set Lama"
Yara Sameh Egyptian actor Maged El Masry is set to star alongside veteran actress Yousra in the light comedy film "Al Set Lama". Khaled Abu Ghraib directs from a script by Kiro Ayman and Mohamed Badawy. The pic, produced by Rana and Nada El Sobky, will commence shooting in the coming weeks. El Masry, born on October 15, 1963, began performing in nightclubs with his former wife singer Mona Ish Ish. They even had their celebrity couple name, Maged and Mona. His talent was discovered during school, where he studied the art of popular, classical dance, and ballet. He made an album that was released in the market but unfortunately, it wasn't very successful. He was discovered and introduced to the cinema by the late director Hussam El Din Mostafa in the 1994 film 'El Gasousa Hekmat Fahmy'. El Masry is known for his roles in the 2018 film 'El Badla', in the 1997 film 'Ferkah banat w Bas', and in the 1996 film "El-Mara'a W Al-Satoor".
