Jennifer Aniston slams Elon Musk's sex appeal in brutal take down

Jennifer Aniston has played characters with myriads of love interests throughout her career. They've been goofy, jealous paleontologists (Ross in Friends), passive unromantic types (Gary in The Break-Up), and even dental surgeons that pretend to be her husband... until they do actually tie the knot (Danny in Just Go With It). But what she won't allow is anyone to say that her love interest even remotely resembles Elon Musk. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer, 56, spoke about her recent role as news anchor Alex Levy in The Morning Show. The show covers the lives behind the people who report the news to you and tries to include real current events - including Donald Trump 's reelection. 'Making a TV show about political coverage in a deeply divisive time can be tricky,' Jennifer said. 'You want to appeal to all audiences.' But when she speaks about her love interest in the show, it's clear she has a less neutral stance about certain subjects. The brutal take down came after the interviewer suggested Alex's love interest, billionaire Paul Marks (played by Jon Hamm), reminded them of Elon Musk, 54, due to the pair both being 'daredevil rocket builders.' However, Jennifer was quick to shut the comparison down as she scathingly responded: 'I don't find him desirable in any way or shape.' In her own love life, Aniston has most recently been linked to wellness guru and hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, with reports claiming the two vacationed in Mallorca and Big Sur over the summer. She had previously told Travel + Leisure she tried hypnosis to conquer her fear of flying. While her rep declined to comment to Vanity Fair about the dating rumors, Aniston follows Curtis on social media, has liked his posts and in May shared a photo of his book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness. Within days of paparazzi shots from the Mallorca trip, Curtis' name was splashed across thousands of online stories. Elsewhere in the interview, the Murder Mystery actress offered a rare, unguarded look into her private life as she confessed she often wrestles with 'what to and not to share.' This included finally breaking her silence about Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, the 48-year-old man from Mississippi, who allegedly crashed his car into the gate of her $21 million Bel Air mansion. Prosecutors say he had been sending her emails, voicemails, and social media messages for some time prior to her security detaining him until police arrived. Carwyle, 48, has been charged with felony stalking, vandalism and threatening bodily harm and faces up to three years in jail after what one of Aniston's lawyers called 'a two-year campaign of harassment and stalking.' He has since plead not guilty to felony stalking and felony vandalism, and at press time was deemed mentally incompetent to stand trial. 'People are out of their minds,' the actress said. 'Who wants to put that energy out there.' She proceeded to stress her security detail, outside her home, is simply 'necessity' and 'not glamorous in any way.'

Makeup-free Reese Witherspoon, 49, looks much younger than her years while dressed down in NYC

Reese Witherspoon stepped out without her makeup on when in New York City on Friday. The 49-year-old Legally Blonde star looked years younger than she really is with her flawless complexion and natural beauty. The Oscar-winning actress wore a white sweater and relaxed-fit jeans with a brown belt for her outing. A caramel-colored Lowe handbag was slung over one shoulder while a straw tote bag hung from her other shoulder. The Pleasantville actress was up before the sun as she exited a building in the dark. The sighting comes after Apple TV+ dropped a teaser trailer for the fourth season of The Morning Show. Season four of The Morning Show begins in spring 2024, two years since the events in season three. The UBA-NBN merger is complete and the cast of characters is rattled, not knowing who they can trust. The one minute teaser features voice overs from Reese's Bradley Jackson and Jennifer Aniston's Alex Levy. 'We have to stay together on this,' Bradley is heard saying before Alex says, 'I need to have a say in the future of this place.' 'I have to do what's best for the network,' Bradley then says, seemingly in response to her former TMS co-host. 'We have to question everything that we see and hear now more than ever,' Alex is heard saying while Bradley says, 'There was a cover-up… The truth always comes out, you know that.' As the two women walk towards each other against a backdrop of a black glass building, other characters chime in. Mark Duplass' Chip Black is looking for 'some dirt,' while Billy Crudup's Cory Ellison, says it is 'nice' when someone else does the 'dirty work.' Jon Hamm's Paul Marks suggests Alex could run the network if she 'wants it enough.' The teaser then ends with Cory saying, 'It sounds like the drama at the network is juicier than the drama on the network,' as Alex and Bradley approach each other and stare each other down. 'Face your truth,' the show teases. The Morning Show's season four debuts on AppleTV+ on September 17 with new episodes dropping every Wednesday. Reese's outing comes after she announced Sunnie, a Gen Z-focused spin-off of her Hello Sunshine label, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity last month. Reese described Sunnie as a 'celebration' of young women's creativity, curiosity and agency. She said: 'It's been a dream of mine to build a space where young women can be the truest version of themselves, 'We've discovered that young women are not defined by doom and gloom as they're often portrayed in media – they're complex, creative individuals with incredible agency. 'Sunnie will be a celebration of that spirit, giving them the tools and community to navigate life's challenges while embracing their authentic selves.' According to The Hollywood Reporte r, the multi-platform brand will feature collaborations with such Gen Z creators and celebrities as YouTuber Lana Condor, Canadian high diver and social media personality Molly Carlson, and Young Sheldon actress Raegan Revord. The group announced strategic alliances with organizations including Child Mind Institute, IF/THEN Initiative, and Purdue University, which will serve as the brand's official university partner. The Sunnie ecosystem will span social content, digital zines, book clubs, custom curriculum, and real-world events.

Betrayals, blackmail, and Bradley's FBI bombshell: ‘The Morning Show' season 4 trailer teases a newsroom war

The Morning Show is back, and it's chaotic than ever. Apple TV+ dropped a fiery first trailer for season 4 of the Emmy-winning drama, and it promises a season full of corporate intrigue, newsroom backstabbing, and personal reckonings. Jennifer Aniston's Alex Levy is once again at the centre of the storm, declaring in the teaser, 'I need to have a say in the future of this place.' Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon's Bradley Jackson warns, 'The truth always comes out,' referencing the cliffhanger from season 3 that saw her turn herself in to the FBI for destroying evidence tied to her brother's involvement in the January 6 insurrection. The trailer shows the newly merged UBA-NBN newsroom under pressure, with reflections of betrayal, scandal, and corporate power struggles mirrored in the network's glossy façade. Familiar faces like Billy Crudup's Cory and Greta Lee's Stella return, alongside new players like Boyd Holbrook as a provocative podcaster and Marion Cotillard as a mysterious operator named Celine. The addition of Jeremy Irons as Alex's estranged father raises the emotional stakes even higher. Season 4 is set nearly two years after the season 3 finale and dives into a world riddled with deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and media manipulation. As personal and professional lines blur, the central question becomes: who can you really trust? The drama kicks off September 17, with new episodes dropping weekly through November 19. With shifting alliances and explosive secrets, this could be The Morning Show's most thrilling season yet.
