EastEnders icon returns to Albert Square next week - and it's bad news for Kat
It's been an exciting week for Kat Slater this week, as she took over as landlady of the Queen Vic - but her bubble may be burst with a huge bombshell dropping next week It's been a huge week in EastEnders for Kat Slater - as she learnt she'd be the new landlady of the Vic after a surprise last minute shake-up during the auction. Kat was left elated as her family are 'back where they belong' but her bubble may be burst next week as her relationship problems continue when Alfie returns to the Square. However, he refuses to tell her where he's actually been. Viewers (and Stacey Slater) know that Alfie left for Barcelona to find his step-daughter Zoe Slater. It came after she fled from Stacey's London flat after a close run-in with her estranged mother, Kat. However, Kat is still unaware of any of this, as Alfie told her he was off to Australia to see his brother Spencer. It didn't take long for Kat to work out this was a lie, after numerous phone calls to Spencer, with Alfie never able to come to the phone. Spoilers for next week reveal that Alfie will be making his return to the Square - but Kat's left fuming over her husband's lies. On Monday night (July 21) we saw a clip of a frantic Alfie ringing from Barcelona, telling Stacey he hadn't yet found Zoe. He then said the people that Zoe owed were asking for hard cash to cover Zoe's debts. He said he needed 50,000 Euros - as Stacey told Alfie she'd received £100,000 from Martin's life insurance. What she failed to mention was that the money was going to be lent to Kat for a deposit for the Vic. Stacey later told Kat she couldn't lend her the money anymore, but after words of wisdom from Jean, Stacey had a change of heart - and Kat was victorious in taking over the Vic. Spoilers for next week reveal that Alfie will return to the Square, but it's not a happy reunion with Kat as she tears into him for lying about where he's been. Kat's under the impression that Alfie went to help his daughter Cherry, who he shares with Hayley Slater, after Stacey confirmed Jean's theory in a bid to cover up where he really was. Alfie promises to never lie to her again, but Kat has heard this promise many times before. Of course, Stacey is the only one who knows the truth, but her mind is elsewhere next week as she celebrates Martin Fowler's birthday with her kids months on from his death. It's not only the Slaters facing family trouble next week as there's concern for Patrick Trueman, as his fiancé Yolande is left worrying that her partner is gambling ahead of their wedding. He doesn't listen, proceeding to keep things a secret and when he wins big on the horses he convinces Howie Danes to hide it from Yolande. Trouble for Patrick comes following the announcement of his son Anthony Trueman's return. With Anthony being Kat's ex - could that also bring trouble for Kat? EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

EastEnders legend returns - and receives the short shrift over his behaviour
Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) is back in EastEnders next week – and he's got quite the task on his hands. Just before Alfie left Walford, he received an important phone call from Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner). In a flat, Alfie discovered that Stacey had been spending time with Kat's daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan). The Zoe we met last month was a far cry from the one we were first introduced to 20 years ago, but we're yet to really find out what led her to spiralling so badly. Alfie was summoned to Stacey's to try and sort the situation, but when Kat followed him, a spooked Zoe climbed out of the window and ran away. She was begged to return, but Zoe asserted that she'd done something 'so bad' that her family wouldn't want to speak to her. The next day, Stacey received a notification from her credit card company that a flight had been booked to Barcelona. Fearing the worst, Alfie decided to follow – telling his suspicious wife that he was actually going to stay with brother Spencer (Christopher Parker) in Australia. At the start of this month, Kat made a discovery about Alfie. She called Spencer, who admitted that Alfie wasn't with him and Kat charged towards Stacey. There, Stace' had to make an even bigger lie. She said that Alfie had suffered another cancer scare, and had gone to Spain to clear his head. More Trending Kat was distraught, but seemed to accept the explanation. She headed home, and Stacey quickly contacted Alfie to tell him that he must go along with the story to save his marriage. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? EastEnders fans 'work out Alfie is being scammed' - and it's by someone he knows
EastEnders' latest episode saw Alfie Moon begging his wife's cousin Stacey Slater for thousands of pounds in cash, but BBC soap fans are convinced there's more to this There was drama on EastEnders on Monday night, as a double bill saw Stacey Slater torn over some money. With her late ex Martin Fowler's life insurance money coming through, she revealed to the family she had £50,000. Fans had seen her offer this to her cousin Kat Moon, to help her bid on The Queen Vic which was up for sale. But as celebrations were underway, Stacey was stopped in her tracks by a sinister call from Kat's husband Alfie Moon. Alfie told her that she had a lead on missing Zoe Slater, Kat's daughter, and he needed money urgently. Stacey was horrified to learn that after weeks of being away looking for Zoe, Alfie still had not found his stepdaughter. Kat still has no idea Alfie and Stacey have seen Zoe recently or that her daughter is in trouble. As the pair continued to keep this from her, Alfie told Stacey that if he did not get the money to some dangerous men then they could lose Zoe forever. Stacey demanded answers, wanting to know what he actually knew about Zoe's whereabouts. There was mention of Alfie needing 50,000 euros, with Zoe owing people money according to the people Alfie found. He claimed they had information on where Zoe was, and he feared the men may have her. Alfie put the pressure on Stacey by telling her that if Kat learned what was going on and that Stacey didn't help, she'd likely not forgive her. Alfie began shouting down the phone in a panic, telling Stacey that serious trouble could be on the cards if she did not help him and give him the money. Stacey fretted over the situation, and soon she was telling her devastated cousin Kat that she could no longer give her the money for the pub deposit. Kat fumed, as Stacey claimed it was because the money was meant for Martin's children. While this was true, Stacey and Kat had already agreed that it was a great investment that could benefit the children. Stacey's mother Jean Slater had known about the call with Alfie and immediately realised the pair were hiding something. Jean believed whatever had been said in the phone call between Stacey and Alfie had swayed the change of heart, with Kat not allowed to know anything. Stacey then begged her mum to stop digging for information, and told her that the money was to help someone important to the family. She didn't give away who, but instead allowed Jean to think Stacey's cousin Hayley Slater was the one in need of the cash. Stacey went along with this, but ultimately decided not to give Alfie the cash. Viewers watching the episodes were relieved, as they believed Alfie was actually the victim of a scam. After all, Zoe had tried to con them out of some money not too long ago, so could she be behind this latest demand? Some fans even wondered if Zoe had scammed Jean recently after she was tricked into transferring her savings. Fans think Alfie is being conned now, and that the £50k would have been stolen by someone with the Zoe claims being a cover. One viewer posted: "I think Alfie may have got scammed/set up for getting conned by Zoe or messed with the wrong people himself. Remember Zoe also lied/stole from Stacey and ran up a massive credit card debt. Jean may have just saved Stacey and Alfie from making a bad decision." Another agreed: "Alfie brainless as ever thinking that giving some random thugs £50k in euros to find a missing Zoe." ‘Sex obsessed' Night Stalker killer sent me twisted doodles from jail… but constant chilling request turned my stomach

Here we list his murder victims. Mei Leung, nine, was murdered on April 10th, 1984 in the basement of her family apartment building. He proceeded to beat, strangle and then rape Mei before stabbing her to death. He was only linked to her murder by DNA in 2009. Jennie Vincow, 79, was murdered by Ramirez in her flat in Glassell Park, Los Angeles on June 28th 1984. Ramirez repeatedly stabbed her in the head, chest, and neck and then slashed her neck so deeply it nearly decapitated her. Dayle Yoshie Okazaki, 34, was shot in the head by Ramirez when fleeing his attempted murder of her roommate Maria Hernandez, 22, on March 17th, 1985. Tsai-Lian "Veronica" Yu, 30, was attacked by Ramirez an hour later on March 17th, 1985. He dragged her out of her car in Monterey Park, and shot her twice with a .22 caliber handgun. Vincent Charles Zazzara, 64, and his wife Maxine Levenia Zazzara, 44. Ramirez shot Vincent in the head on March 27th, 1985, then proceeded to beat and shoot Maxine in the head three times. He mutilated her dead body by carving an inverted cross into her chest, then removed her eyes and placed them in a jewellery box which he took with him. Bill Doi, 66, on May 14th, 1985. Ramirez shot Bill in the face with a .22 semi-automatic pistol and then beat him unconscious. He then raped Bill's disabled wife Lillian Doi, 56. Bill died in hospital from his injuries. Mabel "Ma" Bell, 83, and her disabled sister, Florence "Nettie" Lan, 81, were attacked at their home on May 29th 1985. He bludgeoned Florence with a hammer and then raped her. He then bludgeoned Mabel before electrocuting her. He used lipstick to draw a pentagram on Mabel's leg and the walls of the room. Both women were found alive and comatose. Mabel died on July 15 in hospital from her injuries. Florence died in August from hers. Mary Louise Cannon, 75, was stabbed to death by Ramirez in her home in Arcadia on July 2nd 1985. He bludgeoned her with a lamp until she was unconscious, then stabbed her to death with her own kitchen knife. Lela Kneiding, 66, and her husband Maxon Kneiding, 68, were shot dead and hacked with a machete by Ramirez while they were still alive on July 20th 1985. Chainarong Khovananth, 32, was shot dead by Ramirez the same night in Sun Valley, Los Angeles. He then repeatedly raped and beat Somkid Khovananth, 32. Elyas Abowath, 31, was fatally shot while asleep by Ramirez on August 8th 1985. He then attacked Elyas's wife Sakina Abowath, 27, and repeatedly raped her in front of the couple's three-year-old son. Peter Pan, 66, and Barbara Pan, 62, were shot by Ramirez at their home in Mission Viejo, on August 24th 1985. He raped Barbara before shooting her in the head. No regrets Unlike some of the killers Alife has corresponded with, Ramirez was reluctant to discuss the details of his crimes. But like almost all of them, he didn't express any remorse, and suggested he didn't have many regrets, only in the way his arrest had affected his own life. Alife said: 'The only time he ever hinted at any regret was when he said he 'came to California on a whim and as you can see, didn't turn out too good'. Advertisement 'It was like he was brushing off all of his crimes and was suggesting they only happened because had moved to California. 'It is typical of the self-absorption that a lot of serial killers exhibit. 'It was as if it was nothing, as if he had moved to LA for work and the job didn't work out. He was massively trivialising a lot of very serious crimes. 'And when I pushed him again on whether he had any regrets, he didn't mention murdering and raping all those people. 'He said the one regret that came to mind was not asking out more girls on dates when he was at school, which was incredible.' He died before he could be executed, from complications from health issues including Advertisement Alife and Ramirez swapped their last letters just weeks before his death. He said: 'You always want to find out more about a serial killer. The next letter might finally contain that one nugget which explains why they did what they did. 'But with Ramirez, as with some of the others I have corresponded with, it wasn't easy to read their letters. 'I certainly didn't miss his non-stop requests for disturbing pictures of women and the stream of strange drawings he sent me. 'Or, like with so many others, his sense of self-importance. Advertisement When I pushed him again on whether he had any regrets, he didn't mention murdering and raping all those people. He said the one regret that came to mind was not asking out more girls on dates when he was at school, which was incredible Alfie James 'There are many complex reasons why anyone becomes a serial killer, but that is one common factor I have discovered. 'A lot of them have a massively over-inflated sense of their own importance, they think the world revolves around them. 'Whether it is a case of them enjoying the publicity that their crimes have afforded them or whether they were always like that, who knows? 'But they do tend to feel that conversations should always be about them and their feelings, as if they are always the most important person in the room, as if they are the celebrity of their hospital or prison. 'A lack of remorse is another common factor. Not one of them that I got to know expressed full and genuine remorse for their crimes and the terrible heartache they had caused their families. 'He said the one regret that came to mind was not asking out more girls on dates when he was at school, which was incredible.' He died before he could be executed, from complications from health issues including lymphoma and hepatitis C. Advertisement Alife and Ramirez swapped their last letters just weeks before his death.
