Treasure hunters at Llangollen Pavilion win concert tickets
The event, held on Bank Holiday Monday, was the 'largest yet', with treasure hunters keen to find free tickets to the 'highly-anticipated' summer concerts at TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion and the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. The Treasure Hunt event, designed to continue the buzz surrounding the upcoming Live at Llangollen Pavilion and the Llangollen International Eisteddfod events, gave lucky finders access to some of the biggest shows of the summer. With global stars including Texas, Rag'n'Bone Man, The Script, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, KT Tunstall and Sir Bryn Terfel among the headline acts, this year's lineup promises to be 'bigger and better than ever'.Lucky finders (Image: Supplied) After the success of the Treasure Hunt, attention now shifts to the festival's main events, starting on Thursday, 26 June with Texas at TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion. Members of Falkirk Council's licensing board approved the application for the events after seeing the alcohol management plan, the Daily Record reports. They agreed to grant the licence which will see the bars stop serving at 10pm. The concerts are set to be held on the park's Great Lawn - which is only a few minutes walk away from the iconic Kelpies. It is organised by xfire live events and the bars will be run by Innis & Gunn, who are experienced at organising bars at events such as the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the Royal Highland Show. Those attending are being urged to bring ID with them if they wish to buy alcohol as the Challenge 25 policy will be enforced.
