Alkhorayef Water's backlog revenue likely to grow 25% in 2025: CEO
Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies Co.'s (AWPT) revenues from backlog contracts are expected to exceed SAR 2.5 billion in 2025, a growth of 25% from 2024, CEO Rami Moussilli told Argaam.
He said that growth potential prospects are there if new projects are awarded during the year.
The company is looking to expand its business to include new customers, bid for privatization as well as long-term maintenance and operation projects across the Kingdom. Meanwhile, AWPT seeks to boost growth by entering new sectors that are complementary to and in line with its specialization, he added.
Regarding the impact of diesel prices on operating costs, the CEO emphasized that the continuous rise in diesel prices and the consequent increase in the prices of raw materials, such as asphalt posed a direct challenge to project costs and profit margins over the past years.
