You can still get a free gift card when you buy a new Samsung foldable phone

Hadlee Simons / Android Authority These offers are available from Amazon. As such, the freebies are Amazon gift cards, so you can only use them with the popular online retailer. You can use the credits for anything available from Amazon. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 + $200 Amazon Gift Card Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 + $200 Amazon Gift Card Thin, light, high-powered, and it folds! The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 offers an 8-inch OLED screen, a 200MP camera, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, and a 4,400mAh battery. The Galaxy AI experience is baked in, offering tools across the camera, Circle to Search, and much more. Best of all, Samsung continues to evolve their fold folding hinge assembly, promising reduced visibility of the crease. See price at Amazon Save $200.00 Limited Time Deal! To many, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the very best foldable smartphone in the industry. It's also quite expensive at just a penny under $2,000, though. You'll want to take advantage of any deal you can get! While this isn't a discount, many of us already shop at Amazon, so the $200 Amazon gift card will come in handy. I actually use Amazon for some of my grocery shopping, so I will end up saving anyway. You're still paying a premium price, so you should expect to get a premium smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold is as good as foldable phones get. For starters, it is very powerful, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM. Performance is up there with the best Android phones. Ryan Haines / Android Authority Of course, the main highlight is the internal display. It is large at a whopping 8.0 inches, edging on tablet territory. It also features a Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen with a sharp 2,184 x 1,968 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This makes it an amazing device for watching videos, playing games, or even general browsing. It also makes it an impressive multitasking machine, allowing you to easily enjoy multiple windows and apps simultaneously. You won't always want to unfold the device or use the giant screen, though. It uses a lot of power, and comes with an extra step. The 6.5-inch external screen makes it easier to take care of quick tasks. The design is sleek and sturdy, featuring an aluminum frame and an IP48 rating, making it both water—and dust-resistant. The camera system, while not up there with the Galaxy S25 series, is relatively good. It also comes with a 4,400mAh battery, which is honestly not that impressive. That said, making a foldable phone comes with its sacrifices, and these are very common in the world of foldables. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 + $200 Amazon Gift Card Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 + $200 Amazon Gift Card A good flip phone that could have been more The Galaxy Z Flip 7 offers some of Samsung's most impressive flip phone hardware ever, featuring a 4.1-inch edge-to-edge cover screen and a thickness of just 13.7mm when closed. It also has a larger 6.9-inch inner display, good general performance, and seven years of Android updates. The Flip 7 is a great buy for Samsung fans, but if you're willing to look at the competition, there are better options available. See price at Amazon Save $200.00 Limited Time Deal! Those who prefer smaller phones will love the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. It easily fits in any pocket without adding much bulk. It's also nice that it's nowhere near $2,000! This one goes for $1,099.99. It's still pricey, but much more reasonable, especially considering you get a free $200 gift card right now. Performance is still quite impressive, thanks to the Samsung Exynos 2500 chipset and 12GB of RAM. This is more than enough to keep most users happy; you would have to really push its limits to notice any slowdowns. Joe Maring / Android Authority The main internal display measures 6.9 inches. It's still a gorgeous Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with a sharp Full HD+ resolution and smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The external display is much smaller than the Fold's at 4.1 inches, but that is actually a very nice size for a flip phone. It can handle quick tasks and notifications perfectly. The design is just as nice, with an aluminum frame, and it also comes with an IP48 rating. And while the device is significantly smaller than the Fold 7, the battery isn't that much smaller at 4,300mAh. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE + $100 Amazon Gift Card Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE + $100 Amazon Gift Card Budget-friendly Galaxy Z Flip With as few compromises as possible to bring the price down, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE rocks a 6.7-inch main display, a 3.4-inch front display, and an Exynos chipset. See price at Amazon Save $100.00 Limited Time Deal! While not exactly cheap, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is for those who want a quality flip phone at a lower price. It's $899.99, and this one comes with a free $100 Amazon gift card. All things considered, the differences between the Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE aren't that huge. Casual users will still be happy with it. It has a decent Exynos 2400 processor and 8GB of RAM. It's not as impressive, for sure, but it's more than enough to keep the device running smoothly most of the time. C. Scott Brown / Android Authority The battery is also smaller at 4,000mAh, but it keeps the same camera system as the main Flip 7. The 6.7-inch screen is smaller, but it has the same Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel, Full HD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. That said, the external screen is smaller at 3.4 inches. The aluminum frame and IP48 rating are also the same. Are you getting any of these new Samsung foldable phones? The free gift card offers have already been around for a while, so we can't imagine they will last much longer. Take advantage of these offers while you can! Follow

How Trump's First Six Months Are Affecting Consumer Finances

Editorial Note: We earn a commission from partner links on Forbes Advisor. Commissions do not affect our editors' opinions or evaluations. A little more than six months into President Donald Trump's second term, key policies—including the sweeping One Big Beautiful Bill Act —are reshaping how Americans earn, spend, save and invest. From new tax breaks to tariffs, the economic landscape is shifting fast. Whether you're watching prices, planning a move or building wealth, here's what's changing, how consumers are feeling about the economy and how to make smart financial decisions in the changing economic landscape. Recent polls show President Trump's job approval rating remains below 50% in the early months of his second term. In six national surveys conducted between June and July 2025, Trump's approval ranged from 38% to 45%. At the same time, consumer confidence in the economy is low, with more than half of Americans in all six polls disapproving of the current state of the economy. But what do these numbers mean for your daily life, paycheck, grocery bills or savings account? We break down how current policies are shaping the financial picture for everyday Americans and what steps you can take now to protect your money. The good: Since January 2025, the U.S. unemployment rate has ticked up slightly from 4% to 4.1%, remaining historically low despite signs of a cooling labor market. While adult unemployment has remained relatively stable across genders and racial groups, teen unemployment experienced the sharpest rise, increasing from 11.8% to 14.4%. (Both stats are according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.) The challenge: New tariffs on foreign goods are driving up prices on essentials like electronics, cars and even some groceries. However, the increase is still minimal on average, with some product pricing rising faster than others, such as large appliances. This eats into budgets, especially for families already stretched thin. Beyond higher prices, some companies are now diverting staff and resources to navigate tariff rules and shifting focus away from innovation and production. That shift can slow growth and raise the risk of recession as both supply and consumer demand take a hit. What you can do to stretch your dollar amid rising prices: Delay large purchases or consider secondhand alternatives. Use cash-back credit cards to earn money on purchases, helping offset the rising cost of goods. Pay the card balance in full each month to avoid erasing savings with interest charges. to earn money on purchases, helping offset the rising cost of goods. The Trump Administration's One Big Beautiful Bill Act introduced a $6,000 tax deduction for seniors and a $1,000 child bonus for families. The good: These benefits could ease pressure for retirees on fixed incomes and help working parents offset rising child care and education costs. The catch: Not everyone will see the same impact. 'The new senior and child tax breaks do not help low and middle-income families, mostly because not only do they need to be seniors or have children, they also need to be aware of how to claim those breaks. The benefit is to high earners who know how to take advantage of these new tax breaks,' says Mayra Rodríguez Valladares, managing principal at financial consulting company MRV Associates. Taxpayers must claim the deductions on their federal return, which could limit access for lower-income families without professional tax help. That concern is echoed by the nonpartisan Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), which points out that the bill also includes more than $1 trillion in Medicaid cuts over the next decade. If states can't cover the gap, millions of low-income adults could lose coverage, which could cancel out the value of the new deductions for some families. What to do: If you do qualify for tax breaks and end up receiving a tax refund, consider using it to build financial stability. First, pay off any high-interest debt. Credit cards often come with interest rates of 20% or more and can quickly drain your budget. If possible, transfer high-interest debt to a card with a 0% APR . This can help you eliminate interest immediately. Use tax software to claim every deduction. If you can't afford a certified public accountant, there are many reputable tax programs that walk you through deductions like the senior tax break or child bonus. They help flag credits you might otherwise miss. This is especially useful for first-time filers or part-time workers. to claim every deduction. High-yield savings accounts currently earn around 5.8% APY , as of July 28, the time of this writing. At 5.8% APY with monthly compounding, $1,000 could grow to about $1,783 in 10 years, $2,381 in 15 years and $3,181 in 20 years through compound interest , more than tripling your initial investment. , as of July 28, the time of this writing. Certificates of deposit may offer similarly high rates, around 4.5% , but require you to lock in your money for a set period of time. Since Trump's second term began in January 2025, the stock market has rebounded from early-year volatility to reach new highs. After a dip in the spring tied to tariff concerns, the S&P 500 climbed steadily and hit a record in July. Still, with about 62% of Americans owning stocks—according to a 2025 Gallup poll—many households haven't benefited, especially those relying on cash savings, which continue to lose value to inflation. The divide: Households with investments, such as 401(k)s, IRAs or brokerage accounts, have likely experienced growth this year, providing them with a more substantial financial cushion and increased options. But for those without market exposure, inflation continues to erode savings, especially in low-interest accounts. Even among those with investments, many near retirement are still at risk. According to a 2022 Employee Benefit Research Institute report, 32% of people nearing retirement have their 401(k) savings in target date funds, diversified portfolios that automatically reduce risk as you get older. That leaves many older Americans more vulnerable to market swings, especially in today's tariff-fueled economy. What to do: If you're invested: Consider rebalancing your portfolio to lock in gains and protect against volatility. If you're approaching retirement, check whether your 401(k) plan offers a target-date fund or other risk-adjusted options. Consider rebalancing your portfolio to lock in gains and protect against volatility. If you're approaching retirement, check whether your 401(k) plan offers a target-date fund or other risk-adjusted options. If you're not yet invested: Start small. Invest in a diversified ETF or index fund. If you're new to investing, a low-cost index fund offers broad exposure without requiring you to pick individual stocks. Open a Roth IRA , which allows your money to grow tax-free, and you can withdraw contributions at any time without penalty—ideal for long-term savers. Use a robo-advisor. Automated investment platforms tailor portfolios to your specific goals and risk tolerance, making it easier to get started with investing. Start small. Prices remain sticky in 2025. While inflation isn't spiking, it's not dropping much either. This is keeping pressure on everyday budgets. The Federal Reserve has held rates steady so far this year, resisting calls to cut. The good: Wages have grown faster than inflation over the past year, but that doesn't mean everyone feels richer. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, median weekly earnings for full-time workers rose 3.9% between Q2 2024 and Q2 2025. Over the same period, inflation increased 2.7%, meaning workers saw a small gain in real purchasing power. But gains were uneven.. From May to June, real average weekly earnings ticked down by 0.4% as the average workweek shortened from 34.3 to 34.2 hours. That means some workers took home less overall, even if hourly pay stayed flat. Meanwhile, the cost of essentials—rent, groceries, health insurance—remains stubbornly high. For many households, that small gain in earnings hasn't been enough to keep up with the bills. What to do:

Deals: Samsung Galaxy Z foldables now available, S25 Ultra and S25 Edge discounted

The wait is over, Samsung's next generation of foldables is now available. That means the end of the pre-order perks, but you can still get some extras. Right now, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are available with $200 Amazon Gift Cards (no more free storage upgrade, though). We have a detailed review if you want to do a deep dive before committing. If you decide to get one, you may want to also grab a case to protect your shiny new foldable. The Z Fold7 case no longer holds an S Pen (remember: support was removed), but it does have a grip. It's available in transparent and gray. The Z Flip7 cases offer a stylish leather option (Kindsuit) or a more playful look (Flip Suit). Of course, this year Samsung offers the more affordable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, which starts at $200 less than the premium Z Flip7, though this is with less memory. Also note that the Amazon Gift Card is only $100, which closes the gap between the two models even further. It has exactly zero discount at the moment, but the Motorola Razr 2025 is still $260 cheaper than the FE (if we look at the 256GB models). The chipset has noticeably less performance, but Motorola was ahead of the curve on cover screen size (3.6' vs. 3.4') and battery capacity (4,500mAh vs. 4,000mAh), so the vanilla Razr is worth a look if you are considering the Z Flip7 FE. Just maybe wait a week or two for discounts to come back. Motorola Razr 2025 Read our review 8/256GB - $700 at Amazon US By the way, the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic also went on open sale this week. The vanilla model is the thinnest Galaxy Watch yet and comes in two sizes (40mm and 44mm) with and without 4G. The Watch8 Classic is still the only option for a rotating bezel – this one comes only in one size (46mm), but you do get a choice between 4G and Bluetooth. Note: the Watch8 is $50 off, but you need to grab the discount code. The Classic has a $100 Gift Card attached to it instead. Putting foldables and watches aside, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is still the best camera phone from Samsung this year and the only new phone with S Pen support. And it is currently running a solid discount. The slim and light Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is cheaper than the Ultra, but aside from physical dimensions, it doesn't compare favorably to it. Still, a display of this size is impossible to find on a phone this light anywhere else. For a cheaper option, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is back on sale. But wait – did you hear that the Samsung Galaxy A56 is finally available in the US after an inexplicably long delay? You can get a $50 discount with a coupon, which is the only thing keeping it in the game – even with that discount, the S24 FE may be the better value for money. The A56 also has the Motorola Edge (2025) to worry about. This phone has a good quality 6.7' 10-bit 1220p+ OLED display, an IP69 rating a 50+10+50MP camera with a 3x telephoto and a high-resolution ultra-wide and a 5,200mAh battery with both fast wired charging (68W) and wireless too (15W). Motorola Edge (2025) $110 off 8/256GB - $440 at Amazon US Finally, the Nothing Phone (3) still offers a free storage upgrade from 12/256GB to 16/512GB. Have you gotten used to its kooky look yet? We may get a commission from qualifying sales.

CashKaro gives cashback on your online shopping but is it worth using?

While making any purchase, everybody would like an additional cashback over and above all other shopping benefits. According to a Research and Markets report, the market for cashback programs in India was $7.6 billion in 2024. The market is growing fast and is expected to reach $14.3 billion by 2029. These days, we have credit cards that offer cashback, marketplaces like Amazon that offer cashback, and a host of third-party companies that provide cashback to members for shopping through them. One such company that offers cashback to its members for online shopping is CashKaro. It is one of India's largest cashback and coupon sites. In this article, we will understand what CashKaro is, how it works, cashback categories and merchants, how to redeem cashback by transferring it to the bank account, etc. CashKaro is a cashback and coupon website. When a member visits their favourite shopping website through the CashKaro website, they get rewarded with cashback. For example, suppose you want to buy furniture from Amazon, garments from Myntra, or medicines from Netmeds. All you have to do is log in to search for the merchant, visit Amazon/Myntra/Netmeds through CashKaro, and complete your purchase on the merchant's website. Instead of visiting the merchant website directly, when you visit the merchant website through CashKaro, you get rewarded with cashback. The cashback is a certain percentage of the order value placed on the merchant's website or a flat amount. The cashback rate can range from a low of 0.25% to as high as 100%. Yes, with 100% cashback, you can get certain products for free. Specified products/categories on specified merchants may be excluded from cashback. Hence, read the cashback terms and conditions carefully before proceeding ahead with the transaction. The CashKaro membership program is a lifetime free program. So, there are no joining fees, renewal fees, redemption fees, or any other fees to be paid by a member. A member has to log in to the CashKaro website and search for their merchant. Check the cashback rates and the related offer terms and conditions. From the CashKaro website, visit the merchant website and shop like you usually do. Thus, CashKaro is just a pass-through website, and the final transaction and payment are always done on the merchant's website. Once the transaction is completed, it will be tracked and shown in your account in pending status. Once the merchant confirms the transaction, CashKaro will confirm the cashback. You can request the cashback payment for all transactions where the status is confirmed. The payment request can be made through one of the following options: Bank transfer UPI Amazon Gift Card Flipkart Gift Card Suppose you select the UPI option. You will be asked to enter your UPI ID. In the next step, you will receive an OTP. Once you enter the OTP, the payment will be transferred to your bank account. CashKaro gives you real cashback that can be transferred to the bank account. Many loyalty programs give you points, coins or other currency that have restricted usage and can be redeemed for various products/services. CashKaro is different because the cashback amount can be transferred to the bank account. The change in transaction status from 'pending' to 'confirmed' may take 15 to 120 days. It differs from merchant to merchant. If a product is returned to the merchant, the 'pending' status will change to 'cancelled' and you will not get any cashback for any such transaction. Now that you have understood the CashKaro cashback process, you must be wondering how CashKaro itself makes money to pay cashback to its members. CashKaro works like an affiliate marketing company. They direct traffic to various online merchant websites. When the CashKaro members shop at a partner merchant's website, the merchant gets business. In return, the merchant pays CashKaro an affiliate commission. CashKaro keeps a small part of the commission and passes a major part of it to the member as cashback. So, that is how CashKaro earns, from which it pays you cashback. In the earlier section, we saw how CashKaro keeps only a small part of its earnings from partner merchants. Is it enough to sustain CashKaro? Well, CashKaro plays the big volumes game. Every day, lakhs of their members transact at various partner merchants that pay CashKaro for the sales generated. Here are some CashKaro statistics: It has more than 2 crore members It has more than 1,500 partner merchants Till date, it has paid more than Rs. 1,000 crores as cashback to its members Its investors include Late Ratan Tata, Kalaari Capital, Korea Investment Partners, and Affle CashKaro has onboarded more than 1,500 e-commerce merchants in various categories. Some of these include the following. Merchant category Merchants Marketplaces Amazon, Flipkart Fashion Myntra, Ajio, Snitch, Adidas, Libas, W, Puma, Firstcry, Biba, Aurelia Pharmacy Truemeds, Netmeds, Medibuddy, Healthkart Beauty Dot & Key, Mamaearth, Kama Ayurveda, VLCC, Forest Essentials, Sugar Electronics Croma, Oneplus, Oppo, Acer, Boat, Noise, Dell, Asus Wellness Clove, Zandu, Hyugalife, Fitspere, Muscleblaze, Kapiva, Dabur Food True Elements, Veeba, Organic India Travel Expedia, Cleartrip, MakeMyTrip, Akasa, Air India, Tripify The above are only some of the categories and some of the merchants in those categories. For the complete list, check the CashKaro website. From time to time, new merchants may get added and existing merchants may leave. The cashback rate differs from merchant to merchant. For the same merchant, the cashback rate usually differs for various shopping categories. The cashback rate for the same category may change (increase or decrease) from time to time. Whenever you do a transaction through CashKaro, it will get tracked. You will receive an email with the cashback amount, the tentative confirmation timeline, and other details. You can check your transaction details in your dashboard. The transaction status will be pending, confirmed, cancelled, paid, etc. Initially, the transaction status will be pending. If the merchant confirms, the status will change to confirmed. If the order is cancelled or there is any other issue, the transaction status will change to cancel. You can request a payment from the payment section. Once you request the payment for a confirmed transaction and the payment is made, the status will change to paid. The minimum withdrawal/payment request amount is Rs. 1 only. The payment history section has the details of all the payments that you have requested in the past. You can club your CashKaro cashback benefits with other benefits and increase your overall benefits. Here is how you can club multiple benefits in a single transaction: Discount on MRP offered by the merchant CashKaro cashback by visiting the merchant through CashKaro Instant discount on the credit card Base reward points and milestone/accelerated reward points on the credit card Any cashback or other benefit offered by the merchant Depending on the offers going on at the time of the transaction, it may be possible to club all or some of the above benefits in a single transaction. For example, suppose you want to buy apparel or beauty products from Amazon. In this case, Amazon gives a discount on most products on MRP. Also, sometimes Amazon gives cashback in the form of Amazon Pay balance, depending on the transaction amount. When you visit Amazon through CashKaro, you will get cashback from CashKaro. Finally, if there is a credit card offer going on, you will get an instant discount when you pay through the credit card. You will also earn reward points and any other benefits that the credit card offers. CashKaro is a lifetime free program. It offers cashback over and above other shopping benefits like a discount on MRP, instant discount with credit cards, etc. The cashback can be transferred to the bank account, unlike other loyalty programs that offer points that have restricted usage. Thus, CashKaro increases your overall online shopping benefits. So, if you want to earn additional cashback over and above other online shopping benefits, you must become a CashKaro member.
