Amiri Diwan announces holidays for Eid Al Adha 2025 in Qatar
The Amiri Diwan announced that on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al Adha 2025, the holiday will be as follows: Ministries, other government agencies, public bodies and institutions: The holiday begins on Thursday, 5 June 2025, and ends on Monday, 9 June 2025, with employees returning to work on Tuesday, 10 June 2025. Qatar Central Bank, banks, and financial institutions are subject to the supervision of the Bank, and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority His Excellency, the Governor of Qatar Central Bank, shall determine the start and end dates of the holiday.

Amir, Singapore PM exchange views on regional and global developments
QNA Kuala Lumpur The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Prime Minister of Singapore Lawrence Wong on the sidelines of the second ASEAN-GCC Summit, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Malaysia. The meeting discussed areas of bilateral cooperation and explored ways to enhance them across various fields. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international development, as well as the topics listed on the Summit agenda. The meeting was attended by Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and a number of members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir. From the Singapore side, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan and high-ranking officials attended the meeting.

Deputy Amir receives Hungarian parliament speaker, bids farewell to German envoy

HH the Deputy Amir also met with Ambassador of Germany to Qatar HE Lothar Freischlader, who called on him to greet him on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the country. HH the Deputy Amir expressed his wishes for the ambassador's success and for further development and growth of relations between the two countries.
