Amr Youssef and Asmaa Galal bring back classing Egyptian romance 'El Selem W El Te'ban'. May 05, 2025 Filming is officially underway for 'El Selem W El Te'ban: Ahmed & Malak', a fresh take on the iconic 2001 film that left its mark on Egyptian cinema. While not a direct sequel, according to producer Mousa Essa, this new chapter is a modern spin on love and relationships for today's generation. Starring Amr Youssef and Asmaa Galal, the film boasts a powerhouse cast that also includes Maged Al Masry, Hatem Salah, Fadwa Abed, Heba Abd El Aziz, and Aya Sleem. Produced by RAW Entertainment and directed by Tarek Al Arian, with a script by Ahmed Hosny, the film is set to wrap production by mid-July and hit theatres across Egypt and the Arab world later this year.

Dina El Sherbiny and Amr Youssef's Film "Darwish" Wraps Production, Sets Theatrical Release

Yara Sameh Production has wrapped on Egyptian actor Amr Youssef's upcoming film "Darwish' with a theatrical release date slated for July 17. The cast also includes Dina El Sherbiny, Tara Emad, Mohamed Shahin, Ahmed Abd El Wahab, Mostafa Gharieb, Khaled Kamal, and more. Waleed El Halfawy directed the pic from a script by Wissam Sabry. It is co-produced by VOX Studios, One to One Productions, Film Clinic, and Film Square. 'Darwish' marks the sixth collaboration between El Sherbiny and Youssef after "Shaqo" (2024), "Asham Iblis" (2017), "Grand Hotel" (2016), "Kedbet Kol Youm", and "Taraf Talet" (2012). Youssef, born on December 23, 1980, began his career in entertainment with television commercials and music videos. Thereafter, veteran actor Nour Al Sherif brought his talents to the public's attention when he was cast in the TV series 'Al Daly' in 2007. Following this crucial step forward, Youssef's career took off. Since then, he appeared in 'Nour Ainy' (2010), 'Rad Fa'al' (2011), and the popular 2013 Ramadan drama series 'Niran Sadeeka' (Friendly Fire). Youssef is known for his roles in the films 'Hepta: The Last Lecture', 'Welad Rezk', and 'Rad Faal'. Apr 15, 2025 Upcoming Egyptian feature film 'Darwish' has wrapped filming and is set to hit cinemas on July 17th, 2025. Directed by Waleed El Halfawy and written by Wissam Sabry, the film is a period action-comedy that unfolds in Cairo during the 1940s. 'Darwish' follows the story of a con artist who becomes entangled in a case of mistaken identity after being falsely accused of murder. As the story progresses, the character's unexpected rise to public acclaim propels him into a complex web of fame, unresolved conflict with a former partner, and the stirrings of a new romantic relationship. Leading the cast is Amr Youssef, with co-stars Dina El Sherbiny, Tara Emad, Mohamed Shahin, and Moustafa Gharieb playing key roles. The film is a co-production between One to One, Film Clinic, Vox Studios, and Film Square. Darwish is scheduled to hit cinemas starting July 17, 2025, across the Arab world.
