Unifi Mobile Empowers Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims with Free SIM Cards

Unifi Mobile is making a meaningful contribution to Malaysian Hajj pilgrims this year by offering over 32,000 free prepaid SIM cards to pilgrims, as well as Tabung Haji staff and volunteers, for the 2025 Hajj season. This initiative is part of the Sahabat Korporat TH 2025 programme, through which TM supports Tabung Haji by providing connectivity and digital value-added services to those undertaking the pilgrimage. Eligible recipients will receive a Unifi Mobile Prepaid SIM card under the brand's Middle East Pass. These were distributed at official Hajj courses and engagement events organised by Tabung Haji ahead of the pilgrimage season. Users can activate the SIM cards via the Unifi UniVerse app, available on both Google Play and the App Store. Anand Vijayan, Unifi's Chief Business and Consumer Officer, highlighted TM's long-standing partnership with Tabung Haji, which dates back to 1995. He explained that this initiative supports TM's ambition to become a Digital Powerhouse by 2030, aiming to enrich lives through technology and ensure seamless, affordable connectivity for Malaysian pilgrims while abroad. The Middle East Pass includes a range of unlimited roaming data plans to suit different needs, from a one-day pass at RM15 to a 45-day pass at RM125.
