Free online German language training launched for nurses
Tadepalli: The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and Overseas Manpower Company of Andhra Pradesh (OMCAP), in collaboration with the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), have launched a free online German language training and overseas placement programme for qualified nurses from Andhra Pradesh. Targeting clinical or academic nursing professionals, the initiative offers free German language training (A1 to B2 levels) and placement in Germany as Assistant Nurses, with an upgrade to Registered Nurse upon passing the B2 Language Certification. Advisor Seetha Sharma and APSSDC executive director Manohar stated, 'This programme empowers Andhra Pradesh's nursing community with global opportunities, offering professional growth and financial benefits through over 200 urgent vacancies in Germany.' Eligible candidates (GNM or higher, one year experience, aged up to 39) can apply for Assistant Nurse roles with a salary of Rs 2-2.5 lakh monthly. The 7-8 month online training includes 3-hour daily classes. A refundable Rs 30,000 deposit is required, with additional costs for exams, visas, and travel. APSSDC, OMCAP open overseas placements for AP youth
Tadepalli: The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and the Overseas Manpower Company of Andhra Pradesh (OMCAP), in collaboration with Eurasia Staffing Solutions ( announced here on Monday a new international job placement initiative aimed at providing skilled Mechanical Design Engineers, Factory Mechanics, and Factory Electricians from Andhra Pradesh with employment opportunities in Europe. Executive director of APSSDC D Manohar said in a statement that male candidates aged under 45 years, who hold a BE/ in Mechanical Engineering or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical, are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will be offered a two-year employment contract in Europe (Bulgaria and Albania). The employer will cover food, transport, medical facilities, and shared accommodation. Interested candidates must submit a valid passport, BE/ & Diploma/ITI certificates, and work experience certificate. the candidates have to pay a recruitment fee of Rs 2 lakh to cover visa charges and flight charges. He said that the BE/B Tech graduates would be recruited as mechanical design engineer and paid a salary of Rs 1.5 lakh per month. The diploma/ITI holders would be recruited as factory mechanic or factory electrician with a salary of Rs. 1.5 lakh per month. Satyavedu Constituency to host job mela on July 23
Satyavedu Constituency is all set to host a mega 'Job Mela' organised by Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) on July 23 (Wednesday). The event will be held at MKT Mahal in Pichatur town where the educated and unemployed youth will get an opportunity to land jobs, with fifteen Multi National Companies (MNCs) from from Tirupati, Chennai, Sri City and EMC Cluster arriving to fill up 500 jobs. Satyavedu MLA Koneti Adimulam, who has taken special interest to launch the event in this little town on the Tamil Nadu border, announced that candidates with SSC, Intermediate, UG, PG and ITI course are eligible to attend the Mela. APSSDC launches German language training programme
Visakhapatnam: With an aim to equip youth with German language skills and enhance their employability skills in global markets, the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) inaugurated an international German language training programme in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. As part of APSSDC's ongoing efforts to promote international placements, the programme offers quality language training aligned with global standards. Launched in collaboration with Skill Bee at the Indo-German Institute of Advanced Technology (IGIAT), the initiative particularly aids youth in picking up the language in German-speaking countries. The inaugural was held in the city in the presence of D Manohar, executive director, APSSDC T Anil Kumar, regional employment officer, Zone1, Visakhapatnam, D Aruna, district employment officer, Chamundeswara Rao, district skill development officer, SVSS Ravi Kumar, NAC assistant director, among others. Speaking at the event, experts highlighted the growing global demand for skilled professionals with fluency in foreign language. They noted that the programme opens up new avenues for job seekers and students in key sectors such as healthcare, engineering, hospitality, and logistics. The training will be conducted by certified German language instructors and will follow internationally recognised CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) standards. Upon successful completion of the training, students will receive globally-accepted certification and placement support in Germany and other European countries. This strategic collaboration of the APSSDC marks a significant milestone in breaking language barriers and equipping the youth of Andhra Pradesh with international careers.

3,500 get placements at mega job mela
Eluru: Incoordination with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation, a mega job fair under the leadership of Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar was grandly inaugurated at the CR Reddy Engineering College auditorium here on Monday. Over 3,500 job opportunities were provided through 42 leading companies. Speaking on the occasion, district collector K Vetriselvi mentioned that 42 job fairs were conducted in all constituencies of the district, resulting in 2,400 job placements. She described the availability of 3,500 jobs today as a positive development and urged youth to treat this as the first step in their careers, gain experience, and aim for higher positions in the future. She encouraged everyone to participate in the job fair, noting that company representatives would be available until evening. She emphasised that job fairs are being held in every constituency as part of a continuous process and urged youth to make the most of it to shape their future and improve financially. She also appreciated CR Reddy College for coming forward to organise job fairs and service activities. MP Putta Mahesh Kumar said that both Central and State governments are focusing on education and employment opportunities for the youth. He reiterated that providing job opportunities to youth was one of the major election promises and is now being fulfilled through such initiatives. Sharing his personal experience, he said he came from a middle-class family, completed his civil engineering, and worked in a small company for 18 months with a salary of RS 12,000. Using that experience, he went on to build five companies with a turnover of RS 4,000 crore, providing employment to many. He said opportunities will come to everyone and urged youth to utilize them wisely. West Godavari ZP Chairperson Ghanta Padmashri said that the mega job fair is a beacon of hope for youth and encouraged them to make the most of it. District SP K Pratap Shiva Kishore appreciated the efforts of MP Putta Mahesh Kumar in providing job opportunities for youth in the Eluru Parliamentary constituency. Eluru MLA Badeti Radhakrishna (Chanti) assured that even if one doesn't succeed initially, jobs will surely come in the second or third attempts, and emphasised that job fairs are a continuous process.
