File Image / AP A manhunt ensued on the Las Vegas strip after two people were killed in a shooting incident near the iconic Bellagio fountains. Undersheriff Andrew Wals said that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were on patrol in the 3600 block of Las Vegas Blvd at around 10:40 pm (Local time) on Sunday when they heard gunfire coming from the west side of the street, Fox News reported. Walsh told local reporters that the officers ran to the gunfire and found two victims lying on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He maintained that the shooting is being classified as an isolated incident since the police learned that the suspect and victim had previously engaged in some type of conflict using 'a variety of social media platforms.' 'At this point, every effort is being made by members of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Department to locate, apprehend, and arrest the suspect, who's responsible for this crime,' Walsh told local reporters. According to Fox News, the reported shooting was captured during a live stream on the strip. The two people were seen dropping to the ground while others appeared to take cover after the shooter started open firing in a crowded area.
