Anne Hathaway Reveals First Devil Wears Prada 2 Costume, Now Give Me Another Fashion Montage

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The Devil Wears Prada is a wildly successful book-to-screen adaptation, and is arguably one of Anne Hathaway's best movies. As such, fans were thrilled when it was confirmed a long-awaited sequel was coming, with both Meryl Streep and Hathaway returning to their roles. The latter actress recently offered the first look at Andy Sachs' return, and I need another fashion montage ASAP. What we know about The Devil Wars Prada 2 is limited, but fans were sold thanks to its returning actors. On top of the story, moviegoers are hyped to see the fits of fashion in the follow-up movie. We all remember Andy' fashion montage to Madonna's "Vogue" in the original, and Hathaway posted on Instagram revealing one of her many looks for the sequel. Check it out below: I mean, how gorgeous is that? Hathaway is looking super chic in this outfit, which makes me think that Andy has retained what she learned from working at Runway all those years ago. Now I want to know what Stanley Tucci's Nigel would think about this particular look. Hopefully, we get plenty of his commentary in the sequel. The cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2 is coming together, including a number of iconic actors from the original film. While the sequel's story is currently a mystery, that hasn't stopped hype from growing. And once we get to see Meryl back as Miranda Priestly, I have a feeling the internet is going to explode. Disney+: from $9.99 a month w/ ad-supported planThe Devil Wears Prada is streaming now on Disney+. Plans start at $9.99 a month for its new ad-supported plan. Go ad-free and pay $15.99 a month or save 16% and pre-pay $159.99 for a Deal The original movie, which is streaming with a Disney+ subscription, has remained iconic and endlessly quotable in the years since its 2006 release. There are two sequel novels already released, so there will presumably be some content to farm from the source material. Although I also wouldn't be surprised if a new story comes together, one that can properly highlight returning actors like Hathaway, Streep, Tucci, and Emily Blunt. On the other hand, a number of the Devil Wears Prada cast aren't expected to return for the sequel. Arguably the biggest absence is Adrian Grenier's Nate Cooper (aka the real villain of the original). Still, there are some exciting newcomers joining the burgeoning franchise such as Conrad Ricamora, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux and Kenneth Branagh, who is playing Miranda's new husband. Photography for The Devil Wears Prada 2 began June 30th, so they're about one month into production. As such, Hathaway has probably worn plenty of gorgeous costumes for the fashion-focused sequel. And I'm going to need a sneak peek of Miranda Priestly sooner rather than later. All will be revealed when The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters on May 1st, 2026. Since it's not on the 2025 movie release list, fans like me might have to be patient while we wait for more information/footage from the project.

Anne Hathaway Spotted Filming ‘Devil Wears Prada 2' With New Love Interest

Okay, everyone. We have photos of Anne Hathaway filming The Devil Wears Prada 2 with Andy Sachs's new love interest, played by Patrick Brammall, so join us as we dissect these pictures for clues about the highly anticipated upcoming sequel film. In July, Entertainment Weekly reported that Brammall had been cast to play opposite Hathaway as Andy Sachs's new love interest. This character is to replace Nate, played by Adrien Grenier, who will not be returning for the second film. But other than that, the details about Brammall's character remain mostly secret. Raymond Hall In some of the pics, Hathaway and Brammall appear to be filming a date scene outside of Long Island Bar & Restaurant in the Cobble Hill neighbourhood of Brooklyn. The bar itself is relatively iconic, so does this mean Andy is now living in Brooklyn instead of Manhattan? It would make sense, since Andy has always come across as a Brooklyn sort of person. Or maybe it's Brammall's character who lives in the borough, and Andy has traveled all the way across the bridge to spend an evening with him. Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin (In case you were wondering, Andy's sparkly blue dress is from Rabanne and the strappy sandals are Rene Caovilla.) Aeon In this date-night scene, we also spot Andy twirling playfully around a post, and then swing-dancing with Brammall's character (whose name we don't yet know) in the street. This seems to evoke a pivotal moment in the original film, in which Andy and lothario journalist Christian spend an ill-conceived night together in Paris. Does this indicate that Brammall could be bad news for Andy, just like Christian? Or the opposite. Hrmm… Raymond Hall There was one additional spotting of Anne Hathaway and Patrick Brammall on set. In these photos, Hathaway wears a sleek black jumpsuit with studded details at the cuffs, sleeves, and collar, which she pairs with a black leather tie and black sandals. Brammall, meanwhile, rocks a Canadian tuxedo. Maybe this means he's another fashion-world acquaintance, or maybe this is a sign that he's a more down-to-earth type of character. Which could explain the Brooklyn location. Aeon All of this to say that we don't actually know all that much about this mysterious new love interest. Originally published on

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is coming... and I've found exactly what Miranda Priestly is wearing

It's from The Devil Wears Prada and is uttered by Miranda Priestly, editor-in-chief of the fictional Runway magazine, to her long-suffering assistant Andy Sachs. And now, 19 years after the release of the original, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is being filmed in New York. Fashion fans are being treated to a stream of paparazzi pics and social media reels posted by fans who seem to have endless hours on their hands to follow the cast and crew around and document every scene on their iPhones. Don't these people have jobs? Andy (played by Anne Hathaway) still looks stressed, Miranda (Meryl Streep) still looks terrifying, and although almost two decades have passed, time seems to have stood still for this pair. That said, I do want to have a moan about the constant spoiling of scenes from unreleased film and TV projects these days. When And Just Like That… started shooting its first series in New York, the wardrobe department told me they found it frustrating that the actors' costumes were being endlessly trashed before anything had been seen in context on TV. It's annoying that I already know what Hathaway and Streep wear in the movie a year ahead of its release date – ruining the big reveal – but as this knowledge is out there, I thought I'd share what I've learnt so far. Andy Sachs (below) is no longer dressing like a fashion victim who raided the Runway cupboard. She has developed her own cool-girl style, favouring labels like Toteme and Phoebe Philo, plus a vintage pinstripe suit by Jean Paul Gaultier. Miranda is less high fashion this time and instead opts for power dressing. She has been seen (below) in a pair of ruby-red slingback heels from Jacquemus, a beige, single-breasted Sa Su Phi coat, navy trousers, a ribbed white blouse with a Mark Cross clutch bag and Briony Raymond jewellery. Polished and still in charge is obviously Miranda's sequel look. I can't wait to see more on screen. @youmagazine IN THE JEANS The holy grail of denims? Levi's has just released this new low-rise, wide-legged pair – and they look pretty perfect to me. Jeans SHELL OUT The cool crowd are wearing beads and shells right now, and no one does summer holiday jewellery like Anni Lu. This necklace is from the Ocean Treasure collection. SPOTTED Rosie Huntington-Whiteley must take a lot of luggage on holidays. Attending her brother's wedding in Paris, then sailing in Italy with her family, the model is busy serving up some extremely glam attire. Here she is (right) wearing a Saint Laurent suit while at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera.

Anne Hathaway films with on-screen boyfriend for Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City

's love interest for her character in The Devil Wears Prada 2 was spotted for the first time as she filmed a romantic scene in New York City. The actress, 42, is reprising her role as Andy Sachs in the sequel which is set to hit theaters in May 2026. Anne was seen cozying up with her new co-star Patrick Brammall in a lighthearted date-night scene in the streets of Brooklyn. The actress was glammed up for the evening scene wearing a sleeveless sparkly blue dress and heels. Patrick - who is known for his roles in shows such as Colin From Accounts - was also dapper in a dark navy suit. The duo walked arm in arm in the scene before Anne suddenly broke away from her on-screen beau, wiggled her hips, and performed a pirouette in front of stunned diners. Twirlwind romance? The actors filmed a sequence where Anne pirouetted on the sidewalk Just for laughs: They looked in good spirits as they performed the scene at a restaurant Stellar return: Anne is returning as Andy Sachs a high-powered executive at a luxury grou

Andy Sachs officially enters her lover girl era as Patrick Bremmall makes his debut on Devil Wears Prada 2 sets

Looks like the Devil Wears Prada sequel, currently in full swing production, will have parallel lead Andy Sachs be in love with someone else besides all-time main character Miranda Priestly after all! Andy Sachs is finally in her lover girl era! Patrick Bremmall's debut on the sets of The Devil Wears Prada sequel is proof(Photos: Instagram) Anne Hathaway's summer is New York-bound, couture-clad, and incredibly busy. As the innumerable Instagram reels may have already given away, she is currently in the fashion-forward throes of channeling Andy Sachs as she runs across the road, quite a few times in hand now. Now while the stills steadily pouring out of the sets and into our feeds definitely tell us that Andy and Meryl Streep's Miranda have reunited, all we had so far on the romance front for the former, was confirmation of the boyfriend-from-hell Nate, played very convincingly by Adrien Grenier, not being part of the story moving forward — and Patrick Bremmall having been roped in to play an allegedly green flag love interest. Well now we have eyes on the prize! After Anne, Meryl, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci (all of whom are reprising their OG iconic roles from the 2006 cult classic), first glimpses of Patrick as Andy's boyfriend (and Andy as a love struck fashion icon), have made their way to the internet. And boy are we shipping it! Dressed in a deep cerulean Rabanne evening midi from the French luxury fashion house's Cruise collection 2026 with matching stilettos, Andy has Patrick right by her side (though we thus far have no intel on his on-screen name or background), ever-so-subtly twinning with his lady love. Separately on the romantic front, Kenneth Branagh has been roped in to play Miranda's husband, though a glimpse of him on set is yet to come through. Besides the usual suspects, the Devil Wears Prada sequel will also star Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak and Pauline Chalamet among others, in undisclosed roles. The film is eyeing a May Day release next year. Coming back to the streets of New York brimming with romance, love doesn't really have to be golden or burning red — it seems like it can be cerulean too, eh?
