The film explores the complexities of urban relationships through music, poetry, and modern storytelling. The journey of Metro…इन दिनों has officially begun with the release of the teaser for its first song, Zamaana Lage . A contemporary take on love and relationships, Zamaana Lage blends modern sounds with poetic roots. The track marks the return of composer Pritam and filmmaker Anurag Basu 's creative partnership, known for crafting emotionally resonant music in past projects. Sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, the song draws from a line by poet Qaisar Ul Jafri — 'Tumhaare sheher ka mausam bada suhana lage' — and reimagines the ghazal in a fresh, accessible form. 'Rather than viewing the ghazal as a relic of the past, we wanted to present it as something vibrant and relevant today,' said music director Pritam. 'This track aims to retain its poetic essence while adapting its structure to a modern sound.' The teaser features a glimpse into the film's ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee. Metro…In Dino OTT Release: Where to watch Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan's romantic film after theatres
Metro…In Dino OTT Release: This upcoming saga is one of those rare films that already feels close to the heart even before its release. Directed by Anurag Basu, the movie brings back the emotion and chaos of city life that he captured beautifully in Life in a... Metro back in 2007. This isn't a direct sequel, but it's definitely cut from the same cloth - new stories, new characters, same restless city, and the same questions about love, loneliness, and how people find or lose each other in the middle of all that noise. Where to watch Metro…In Dino on OTT? Netflix has acquired the streaming rights to Metro…In Dino and will be streaming it after the film's theatrical run concludes. The cast is packed with solid talent: Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal. Each one plays a different kind of city dweller, and their stories are about those moments where you meet someone unexpected in the middle of your routine and everything changes. Not fairy tales, but they're the kind of stories that make you go, 'Yeh toh mere saath bhi hua tha,' or 'Main bhi aisa hi feel karta hoon.' That's the beauty of a film like this: it feels personal. Anurag Basu has always been a filmmaker who sees beauty in a mess. He lets you sit in it, breathe it, and slowly feel what the characters are going through. In Metro… In Dino, he seems to be doing exactly that again. He's taking a bunch of stories and connecting them loosely through the city, most likely Mumbai, just like he did earlier. And then there's the music. You can't talk about Metro… In Dino, without talking about Pritam. He gave us timeless songs in the 2007 film, songs that still hit hard today. This time, too, he's back as the music director, and the title of the film is actually taken from the hit song 'In Dino' from the original. Metro…In Dino is produced by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions. The chemistry between the characters is another thing to look forward to. Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan are likely playing a younger couple, maybe figuring out if what they have is love or just confusion. Konkona Sen Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi might be the quieter ones, dealing with more mature emotions, regret, maybe even an old love returning. Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher could be showing us that love doesn't end with age. Metro… In Dino, which is releasing on 4th July, 2025, feels like a letter from the city. Messy, emotional, a little broken, but full of heart. And that's exactly why it's worth waiting for.

When Konkona Sen Sharma Was Reminded Of Irrfan Khan During The Shoot Of Metro..In Dino
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Director Anurag Basu admitted missing late actor Irrfan Khan and shared how actress Konkona Sen Sharma started crying while filming Dino as she missed her co-star and friend Irrfan Khan. At the Zamaana Lage song of Dino launch event, Anurag Basu was joined by the cast of Life In a Metro sequel, which also starred Irrfan Khan in the lead role. In the first instalment, Konkona Sen Sharma Sen was paired with Irrfan Khan, the couple which finally gets a happy ending in the movie. It was hard for the actress to work in the movie again after her dear friend and co-star Irrfan Khan died in 2020. While remembering the late actor, Anurag Basu shared that Konkona Sen Sharma started crying during the shoot of a scene in the movie ( Dino) as the tone of it was a "little similar" to a scene from the first instalment. He also remembered singer KK at the event as the singer sang two of the most famous tracks from the prequel's album: Alvida and O Meri Jaan. "We were shooting a scene, and the tone for it was a little similar to a scene from the first film. Suddenly, Konkona started crying, and even right now, I am worried that the same will happen if someone asks a question about him. We miss him; we miss KK very much, and there are many others who are missing now, with whom we collaborated earlier," said Anurag Basu at the Metro In Dino promotional event in Mumbai. After Life in a... Metro and Ludo, Dino is the final chapter of Anurag Basu's trilogy of hyperlinked cinema. Backed by producer Bhushan Kumar, the film introduces a world of modern love and relationships.
