The latest iPad mini drops to a record-low price

The latest Apple iPad Mini is on sale via Amazon , bringing the 128GB model down to a record-low price. Each Wi-Fi-only model has been discounted by $100, so the 128GB version is $399, the 256GB tablet is $499 and the beefy 512GB model is $699. This deal applies to multiple colorways. This is one of the best Apple tablets , and the only choice for those looking for a compact iPad. It's the company's most powerful tablet in this size, as the A17 Pro chip is plenty capable. An M-series chip would have been nice, but it's not in the cards just yet. Having said that, this is still a full-featured iPad that can hang with its larger cousins. It offers support for the Apple Pencil Pro, which is handy, and the 12-megapixel camera on the rear takes decent shots, even in low light. The camera is also a decent choice for scanning documents and QR codes, as noted in our official review . The speakers sound much better than one would expect, though this has become the norm with recent Apple products. The display looks nice, but it is just a standard LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate. Apple tends to reserve its best screen technology for the higher-end tablets. There's no Face ID here, but that's not a deal breaker for me, as I actually prefer Touch ID or just quickly typing in a four digit security code. Deal of the Day: Apple's iPad Air (M3) is back at its lowest price ever

While I mostly use my iPad for relaxing and watching shows and videos on the couch, others use it as a total laptop replacement — NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin carried an iPad Pro, Apple Magic keyboard case and Apple Pencil to class back in her college days. The latest iPad Air (M3) is the swiss army knife of iPads — lightweight and easy to use, but powerful enough to tackle professional and creative tasks usually reserved for laptops. It's currently $100 off, matching its lowest price to date. Apple iPad Air (M3) deal Compared to the iPad (A16), the iPad Air (M3) has the much more powerful M3 chip inside, which has faster and smoother performance, especially in graphically demanding apps. It also has an anti-reflective, laminated screen with increased color depth and contrast. The iPad Air (M3) is also one of the cheapest models that's compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, making it a good fit for artists and creatives. The Apple Pencil Pro acts much more like a real pencil than other models — it has extra tools like double-tap and squeeze shortcuts, plus it's pressure sensitive and supports rolling to change the orientation of shaped pens and brushes. Like other iPads, the iPad Air (M3) weighs about a pound and gets up to 10 hours of battery life. If an 11-inches screen sounds too small to you, the larger 13-inch iPad Air (M3) is also back at its lowest price ever right now. Why trust NBC Select? I'm a reporter at NBC Select who covers technology and fitness including recent stories on smartwatches, running shoes, cameras and more. For this piece, I checked Apple iPad Air (M3) prices and price history across multiple retailers to find the best deal.

From Apple Pencil 1st Gen to Pencil Pro, Amazon Is Clearing Out Stock at All-Time Low Prices

If you've ever written notes on an iPad, drawn, cropped photos, or just navigated with more precision, you're aware of how valuable the Apple Pencil is. It transforms your iPad into a productivity and creativity powerhouse that lets you interact with apps in ways that are simply not possible to you using your finger. However, Apple Pencils almost never go on sale which makes today's Amazon deals on all three current models-the Apple Pencil, Apple Pencil 2nd Generation, and Apple Pencil Pro especially noteworthy. Each is now available at a record low price, so if you've been waiting for the right moment to upgrade or buy your first stylus, this is your chance. The most affordable option in the lineup is the Apple Pencil (USB-C) and it now retails for just $69, down from $79. It's designed for people who want the bare essentials of Apple Pencil experience (pixel-perfect precision, low latency and tilt recognition) without the bells and whistles. It's perfect if you want to take notes, sketch, or annotate PDFs. The USB-C option charges and syncs using a USB-C cable which is convenient if you're newer iPads with their departure from the Lightning connector. See Apple Pencil at Amazon Higher up the series, the Apple Pencil 2nd Generation currently costs $99, down from its initial price of $129. This generation has been the gold standard for iPad users for years now with both design and functionality upgrades. The 2nd Gen Pencil attaches magnetically to the edge of supported iPads, wirelessly recharges, and stands ready at a moment's notice. It matches the USB-C model's pixel but also adds pressure sensing. Pressure sensitivity enables you to create lines of varying thickness and opacity depending on the pressure which is ideal for digital painting, sketching, and precise illustration work. See Apple Pencil 2nd Gen at Amazon Apple Pencil Pro is at the top of the product line and costs $99, down from $129 which is also an unusual price for Apple's latest and most advanced stylus. The Pencil Pro is designed for creatives and designers who want the best from their tools. It has all of the 2nd Generation features (magnetic attachment, wireless charging, pixel-precise accuracy, and pressure sensitivity) but pushes them further: The Pencil Pro introduces more subtle tilt and pressure sensitivity which means it can be even more accurate and sensitive to delicate drawing and shading. It also includes new gestures and haptic feedback which give you a more interactive and immersive experience while working. See Apple Pencil Pro at Amazon In the end, which one shall you go for? The USB-C is ideal for basic note-taking and sketching, the 2nd Generation is best for artists who need pressure sensitivity and more advanced features, and the Pencil Pro is ideal for those who need the most advanced stylus Apple offers.
