BSP neta's daughter, youth found dead in Ayodhya hotel
Ayodhya: In a suspected case of murder-suicide, daughter of a Bahujan Samaj Party functionary was shot dead by her 22-year-old 'friend', who then turned the weapon on himself. Their bodies were found in a locked room at a homestay near Devkali bypass in Ayodhya on Sunday evening. The woman was identified as Aroma Rawat and the youth as Ayush Kumar Gupta. Police said the duo had checked into the homestay around 10:10am on Sunday and was allotted room number 103 on the second floor. Around 5pm, a waiter knocked at their door to deliver tea, but received no response. The homestay owner alerted police. A team led by circle officer, Ayodhya, Ashutosh Tiwari, arrived and broke open the door. Both the victims were lying on the bed with gunshot wounds on their foreheads. A pistol was found near Ayush's leg with two cartridges on the floor. Forensic experts and SP (city) Chakrapani Tripathi also reached the spot on receiving the news, and collected evidence. Police ruled out the possibility of third-party involvement, as the room was locked from inside. Police suspect the two victims had met on social media and came from different castes. They are probing if societal pressure was behind their death. It has emerged that the hotel took only Ayush's Aadhaar ID when the duo checked in, and did not collect any ID from the woman, complicating early identification. Police are now questioning a man named Murari Yadav, who contacted authorities claiming to know Aroma.

Acclaimed actor Ahmed Dawood has officially kicked off filming for the highly anticipated feature film Ezma, sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from the first day on set. Rotary Club honours three organisations in Coimbatore
The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Centennial presented the Vocational Excellence Awards at a ceremony held in the city on Friday, recognising contributions to healthcare, entrepreneurship, and rural development. The awards were part of the club's centennial celebrations and were presented to three organisations with longstanding involvement in various sectors of public service. PSG & Sons' Charities was recognised for its role in education and healthcare. The award was received by J. S. Bhuvaneswaran, Director of PSG Hospitals. Lakshmi Ceramics was honoured for its initiatives in promoting entrepreneurship and community service. S. Muthuraman, Managing Director of Lakshmi Ceramics, received the award. Aroma was acknowledged for its rural development work and outreach initiatives. R. Ponnuswamy, Managing Director of Aroma, received the award on behalf of the organisation. K. C. Srinivasan, President of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Centennial, presented the awards in the presence of chief guest Basker Chockalingam, former Rotary International Director and Chairman of VNC Group, and guest of honour N. Sundaravadivelu, District Governor of Rotary District 3201. The event was attended by members of various Rotary Clubs and invited guests, including A. V. Thrilling Drama Run, Starring Sammy Sheik, Joins Berlinale Film Market
Sammy Sheik. Coinciding with the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, Run, starring Sammy Sheik, Daniel Sauli, Kristen Renton, and Mohammed Qissi, is set to participate in the Berlinale Film Market ahead of its highly anticipated European theatrical release. 'I began filming Run on an island in Croatia shortly after completing Al Hashshashin,' shared actor Sammy Sheik. 'The film is directed by German filmmaker Uwe Boll, with whom I previously collaborated on Darfur. It features a diverse international cast, bringing together talent from over five different nationalities.' Run tells the gripping story of a group of desperate migrants who arrive on the Italian coast after a perilous Mediterranean crossing, forever altering the lives of locals and tourists in a small coastal town. Al Hashshashin is written by Abdel Rahim Kamal, directed by Peter Mimi, and produced by Synergy. Sammy Sheik, an Egyptian-American actor, began his artistic journey by studying theater in New York.
