Lily Collins cut an elegant display in a polka dot co-ord for the upcoming fifth season of Emily In Paris on Saturday. The actress, 36, who stars as the titular character, has headed to Venice, Italy, for the episodes as the series will follow her character's journey to Rome. Filming on a boat along the canal, Lily looked chic in the two piece which featured black spots on a white material as she flashed a hint of her mid driff. The brunette beauty accessorised her look with a pair of large gold hoop earrings and styled her tresses into a sleek middle parted bun. She was seen in top spirits during the ride as she was joined by Ashley Park, who plays Emily's best friend Mindy Chen. Ashley looked stylish as ever as she wore a strapless, plunging pastel yellow gown which she paired with a white hat and dress gloves. Emily was left with a decision at the end of series four, as she was offered the position of the lead of the Italian Agence Grateau office. Despite falling in love with Paris and the agency, Emily admitted she was tempted by a new life - with a new man - in Rome. Fans will remember Emily and Gabriel's (Lucas Bravo) romance fell apart after they finally tried to make a go of their relationship after he broke off his relationship with Camille. The pair hit a stumbling block when he learned of her plans to try and secure a professional relationship with his family, who owned a luxury cashmere company, but they eventually managed to iron their issues out. At this point, Gabriel had a candid conversation with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), who urged him to try and win Emily back, despite previously being romantically involved with her himself. But despite dashing to Rome with the hope of reuniting, Emily was nowhere to be seen as she enjoyed her romantic day out with Marcello. Speaking about the upcoming series, Lucas said: 'I think Gabriel realised that he doesn't want to let Emily go so easily, and he might have made a big mistake. 'They certainly had a big fight and a cooling-off period. But I think he realised that by the end of the season, that there's something that he doesn't want to let Emily go. 'I don't know what that means. Doesn't necessarily mean they're going to be together instantly or ever. I don't know, but I think he feels there's unfinished business with the two of them.' However, there is hope for the couple as according to creator Darren Star, the season is not fully moving to Rome. He told Deadline: 'She didn't change her Instagram handle to Emily in Rome. She is working in Rome sometimes. Sylvie's company has an office in Rome. 'Emily's getting that on its feet. I don't necessarily think that it means a permanent — in my mind, it's definitely not a permanent — move to Rome. We're not leaving Paris.' The series is expected to air towards the end of this year, but one of the main characters has revealed they won't be returning. Camille Razat, 31, who plays Camille in the romantic comedy-drama - took to Instagram to reveal the shocking news with an emotional goodbye post after fans fumed at bosses for 'destroying the character'. Camille has played Emily's pal and love rival in the show since the programme hit the streaming service back in 2020. Now, after five years on our screens as Camille, the actress is ready to move on. Sharing various snaps from her time on the show, she wrote: 'After an incredible journey, I've made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris. 'It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories. 'This character has meant a lot to me, and I feel that her storyline has naturally come to an end. It felt like the right moment to explore new horizons.' Take Vogue Introduces and Vogue Dialogues for example, both of which have only allowed us to expand our reach and elevate creative souls whose stories were waiting to be told. Over the course of the past few years, collaborative ventures such as the Vogue Talent Prize and Vogue Singapore x BMW Innovation Prize have been fruitful in platforming emerging young talent and future-forward businesses. It was always about changing the conversation—and building an unparalleled sense of community amongst the creatives of the region. It was precisely for this cause, that we first launched Next In Vogue in 2023. Our multi-day landmark event that saw leading voices of the industry come together, to engage in a multitude of purposefully-curated activities and panel discussions—all surrounding the interesting intersections between fashion, beauty, technology and culture. Actress Ashley Park has become a target of online backlash following certain remarks on Pope Leo XIV over his election as the first-ever American leader of the Catholic Church. Ashley, who is currently present in Rome and busy with the shooting of Emily in Paris Season 5, found herself amid the momentous occasion as the Pope is ready to lead the Vatican. Taking to her Instagram stories (now deleted), Ashley on Friday shared a video capturing her experience in Rome amid the election of the new Pope. The 33-year-old even expressed her views on why the appointment is such a big deal in the city. 'It's my first day filming in Rome, and they just chose the Pope. Does anyone care?" Ashley asked her hair and makeup artist, Carole Nicolas, who sarcastically responded, 'Fantastic," leaving everyone laughing. The actress continued giggling over the comments and added, 'Fantastic, the Pope. We're in a trailer, so you can't tell we're in Rome, but we're here, and we heard the church bells ringing! The commentary didn't just end here, as the Emily in Paris star shared another video where she appeared to be mocking the Pope. 'Mindy's first day back filming # EmilyInParis season 5! No, I wasn't late. Yes, the conclave picked the Pope (woooo!). Yes, the traffic was crazyyyy, and yes, I love romaaaaa," she wrote.
