Liverpool Are Among The Clubs Hoping To Land This Atletico Madrid Star: Dream Option For Slot?
In a recent report, Marca mentioned that Liverpool are among the clubs hoping to land Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez. It has been stated that the Reds would have to compete with Barcelona and Arsenal in the race to sign the Argentine talent this summer. Alvarez's Impressive Run Of Form In La Liga The 25-year-old had a brilliant campaign at the Madrid club after putting in a lot of productive displays for them in the final third. Alvarez banged in 29 goals and grabbed seven assists in 54 matches for Diego Simeone's side last season on all fronts. Advertisement The Argentine forward has been a reliable performer up top as he averaged 2.51 shots per game and kept 51.4% of his attempts on target in La Liga. However, Alvarez could improve his link-up play in the opponent's half, based on his pass completion rate of 74.2% in league football (stats via The Calchin-born talent is under contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until the summer of 2030. Therefore, Liverpool would have to make a huge offer if they are to stand a chance of recruiting Alvarez this off-season. (Photo by) Is Alvarez A Dream Option For Liverpool Boss Arne Slot? Alvarez can create a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to engineer some promising chances for his teammates up top and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet. Advertisement The Argentine talent has proven his worth as a prolific goal-scorer in the final third. He mainly functions as a centre-forward but can also operate as a winger on either flank if told to do so by his manager. Alvarez already knows the Premier League well from his time at Manchester City. Hence, he won't take much time to adjust to life in Liverpool if they manage to bring him back to England this summer. Alvarez would add plenty of goals and assists to Arne Slot's attack. He has what it takes to be a regular starter for the Merseyside club over the next few years. Therefore, Alvarez would be a dream option for the Reds to consider in this summer transfer window.

Newcastle United Are Keeping A Keen Eye On This Atletico Madrid Full-Back: Decent Fit For Howe?
In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Newcastle United are keeping a keen eye on Atletico Madrid full-back Nahuel Molina. It is believed that the Magpies are eyeing a £17.5m move to bring the Argentine defender this summer. Molina's Decent Run Of Form In La Liga Molina managed to catch the eye at times with his performances on the right side of Diego Simeone's defence during this campaign. The Argentine talent has been involved in 44 matches for the Spanish outfit this season, scoring one goal and securing three assists across multiple competitions. Advertisement The 27-year-old has been a solid presence when defending inside his half after making 44 tackles, 16 blocks and 13 interceptions in La Liga this season. He has even distributed possession relatively well from the right flank based on his pass success rate of 79.9% in the Spanish first division (stats via Molina is under contract at the Madrid club until the summer of 2027 which would make it difficult for the Magpies to land him on the cheap in this transfer window. (Photo by Florencia) Will Molina Be A Decent Fit For Newcastle United Boss Eddie Howe? Molina is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a tidy passer as well. Advertisement The Argentine talent has done well to add some goals and assists to his game. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Newcastle manage to get him on board this off-season. Molina would no doubt enhance the quality of the Tyneside club's backline. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at St. James' Park in the coming seasons. At 25, Molina is playing in his prime at the moment and could help the Magpies compete across all fronts over the next few years. Hence, he would be a good fit for Howe's needs in the short term. However, Molina might need some time to adapt to life at Newcastle, so Howe has to be patient before he can get the best out of the talented right-back.

Atletico de Madrid becomes partner in Rwanda's global tourism push
Kigali, May 1 (UNI) Rwanda and Atletico de Madrid, a Spain-based football club, have entered into a partnership to promote the Visit Rwanda tourism brand, the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) said. The deal marks Atletico Madrid's first-ever commercial collaboration with an African brand, according to the RDB statement issued Wednesday. The multi-year partnership, running until June 30, 2028, "reflects Rwanda's strategic ambition to position itself as a premier global hub for investment, tourism, and sports development," Jean-Guy Afrika, chief executive officer of the RDB, was quoted as saying. As a premium partner, Visit Rwanda will feature prominently on the front of Atletico de Madrid's men's first team training and warm-up kits for the remainder of the current La Liga season, including the Club World Cup. From next season, the branding will also appear on the women's first team training kits and on the back of official match jerseys for both teams, the statement added.
