Cher's Fans Will Apparently Love Her Music ‘Forever'
Cher's Forever compilation returns to two U.K. charts, landing at No. 65 on both, thanks to a vinyl ... More sale that reignites fan demand. The iconic singer and actress has been delivering hits for decades, and somehow, the appeal of her vast catalog only continues to grow. That sustained interest has powered numerous compilations over the decades, and this week, one of her most recent efforts is surging. Forever, a career-spanning set that showcases Cher's many musical eras and gives listeners a title to focus on when heading to streaming platforms, returns to the charts in the U.K. this week. Forever is a hit once more this week, as it finds its way back onto a pair of U.K. rankings. This time around, the set reappears on both the Official Albums Sales and the Official Physical Albums charts. In a fun coincidence, it lands in the same spot on each tally, at No. 65. Cher's Forever has maintained a pattern on these two tallies throughout its lifetime. When it first arrived last year, it debuted at No. 11 on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts. Forever has also now spent exactly 13 weeks on each ranking. Forever hasn't been absent from these rosters for long. The last time it was seen on either list was just a few months ago, during the final chart week of January 2025. The collection initially debuted across several U.K. rankings in October 2024, not long after it was released. On the main all-genre tally — the Official Albums chart — Forever only managed a brief appearance, opening at No. 44 and then falling away. It narrowly missed becoming another top 40 win for Cher in the country. What's behind this renewed attention being paid to Cher's compilation? It appears that Forever saw a spike in sales after being offered at a discount. Vinyl editions of the set — including eye-catching 2LP versions in silver and sea blue — were marked down on Amazon in the U.K. That sale seems like it may have been enough to push the title back to the charts.

Janelle Monáe's Geometrically Mind-Boggling Look Is A Must-See
Janelle Monáe is a true "vanguard" of fashion, and I'm so serious. It should be common knowledge that Janelle's music is always a spectacle, a sensational blend of psychedelic soul and funk with a flavor of hip-hop and R&B. From The Electic Lady (2013) to Dirty Computer (2018) and beyond, my favorite ENBY superstar delivers nothing but hit after hit with a cinematic edge. Even when Janelle's on the silver screen, like 2022's Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, they give us nothing but high-quality. Throughout it all, one constant placed Janelle in a league of their own, in my honest opinion, and that's the visuals, baby. One thing the "Make Me Feel" singer is going to do is give us something to gawk at regardless of the occasion. On Feb. 6, Janelle attended the Costume Designers Guild Awards at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, where designers responsible for the stunning ensembles of the biggest 2024 movies were honored. Nosferatu, Wicked, and Conclave took home some of the night's top prizes, including Excellence in Period Film, Sci/Fi/Fantasy, and Contemporary Film. Janelle, known for rocking some of the greatest hits like her looks from 2019, 2023, and 2024 Met Gala, was honored with the CDG's Vanguard Spotlight Award. This season was inspired by the 1998 "Atomic Bomb" collection, which evolved into more contrasting colors and abstract geometric shapes like cubes, triangles, and spheres. Janelle was styled by Alexandra Mandelkorn, and they paired the look with Kate Spade's Lori Heeled Loafers and a Rodo Firenze black leather handbag.
