CCTV appeal after Aberdeen v Hearts disorder in Scottish Cup semi final at Hampden

The appeal comes just a day after police issued CCTV images from the earlier Celtic v Hibernian match. CCTV images have been released as part of an investigation into disorder during the Scottish Cup semi-final between Aberdeen and Hearts earlier this year. The match took place at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Saturday April 19. ‌ Although the nature of the disorder has not yet been disclosed, officers are keen to trace four men they believe could assist with their enquiries. ‌ They are all described as white, and between 18 and 50 years old. Police have requested these men, or anyone who might recognise them from the images, to get in touch. Constable Beveridge said: 'We are keen to talk to the men in the images as we believe they may have information which could assist with our enquiries. "I would encourage the men, or anyone who may recognise them, to contact us. ‌ "You should call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0738 of 19 April, 2025 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111'. Aberdeen won the match 2-1 in extra time, and went on to win the Scottish Cup a few weeks later. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
