Queen Elizabeth's 'bemusing' two-word comment about Archie and Lilibet on final visit

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to celebrate the fourth birthday of their daughter, Lilibet, with private celebrations expected in her honour. The duo, who exchanged vows in 2018, welcomed their second child on June 4, 2021, making her a younger sibling to six year old Archie. Since opting out of their senior Royal duties in 2020, the Sussex family has made their home across the pond in America. Prince Harry shared insights from his children's "final visit" with the Queen, revealing to the Scottish Daily Express that she appeared "bemused" by the little ones, reports the Mirror. In his tell-all memoir 'Spare', Harry delved into the events surrounding the Queen's funeral and their subsequent return to the US: "For days and days we couldn't stop hugging the children, couldn't let them out of our sight, though I also couldn't stop picturing them with granny, the final visit." (Image: undefined via Getty Images) (Image: undefined via Getty Images) He described how "Archie was making deep, chivalrous bows, his baby sister Lilibet cuddling the monarch's shins." Harry recalled the Queen's reaction, noting she called them the "sweetest children" while seeming "bemused". "She'd expected them to be a bit more... American, I think? Meaning, in her mind, more rambunctious," he concluded. Upon returning home, I was over the moon to resume daily routines like taking the kids to school and reading Giraffes Can't Dance, but memories kept flooding back. King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla ascended to their new roles after the Queen's passing. It is reported that the Royal couple have had limited interactions with their grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, meeting the latter only once during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II in June 2022. Prince Harry acknowledged the distance between himself and his family in a recent interview. In a conversation with the BBC, the Duke of Sussex expressed his desire to reconcile, stating: "There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious." A disagreement over security arrangements led to a rift, with Harry revealing that his father "won't speak to him". Earlier this year, Harry was defeated in a court case relating to the downgrading of his personal security level. Commenting on the verdict, he said: "I'm devastated - not so much as devastated with the loss that I am about the people behind the decision, feeling as though this is okay. Is it a win for them?". "I'm sure there are some people out there, probably most likely the people that wish me harm, W.H.O. consider this a huge win." Prince Harry has chosen not to pursue further legal action, as the judgement has shown that a court victory would be unattainable. He further expressed that the decision has led him to a point where he "can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point".

Reflecting on their relationship, she shared, "Emily has this podcast called Shall I Delete That? and she spoke about my daughter in such a sweet way that I burst out crying. They've known each other for nine years, and I think they really care about each other." During an intimate chat with the Daily Mail, Lisa openly addressed the topic of marriage, stating she cherishes her current standing and identity: "Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. We decided not to have children together." (Image: Getty Images) (Image: Amazon/Everett/REX/Shutterstock) (Image: undefined via Getty Images) She expanded on why they've chosen not to expand their brood, advocating for their contentedness with life as is: "We're at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I'm just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it's much easier." As the new instalment of Clarkson's Farm hits our screens, fans have been keenly observing Lisa and Jeremy's dynamic, yet it's Jeremy's health that has raised eyebrows, especially after his heart surgery last year where he had two stents fitted. Jeremy Clarkson himself has noticed a decline in his wellbeing throughout the latest series. Chatting with The Sun, he remarked: "You can see me becoming more and more ill as the days go on, because I just lose my sense of humour, lose my ability to stay calm. "I get in a proper old panic. I didn't know at the time. I knew I wasn't being me. Because if you don't sleep, it very quickly has an effect." These revelations follow Lisa's own disclosure about managing conversations with Jeremy, as she told the Mail on Sunday. She divulged her tactic for uninterrupted dialogue: "I've worked out that when he's wearing a mic, he can't interrupt me. So that's when I go for it." Lisa further shared her strategy for avoiding disputes with him, stating: "I'm more conniving than that. Why argue with someone like Jeremy? He's so eloquent. I have to be a bit more... nimble. I like the long-term diplomatic approach." Additionally, Lisa offered a glimpse into Jeremy's off-camera persona, revealing to the publication: "He's always incredibly inquisitive. His mind is always on the move. He'll come in fizzing with energy about the smallest thing. I like that."

BBC Radio 2 return for Zoe Ball just five months after shock exit

Zoe Ball is making a return to BBC Radio 2 - just five months after she quit her flagship Breakfast Show. During her final show, Robbie Williams teased it was "not the end" for Zoe, although she was quick to deny his statement. But it seems the Let Me Entertain you hitmaker was right, as Zoe will be back on the airwaves today (Saturday, May 3). According to BBC bosses, Zoe's 1pm show will be packed with "the best songs and chat for a Saturday". Zoe has also told listeners to expect "lots of laughs" and her favourite upbeat hits, The Express reports. READ MORE: BBC Strictly Come Dancing star admits she 'cracked' and had 'full breakdown' Helen Thomas, head of Radio 2, shared the news in February and said: "Zoe is one of the UK's most loved presenters, so I'm thrilled to announce that she has a new home on Radio 2 on Saturday lunchtimes, plus she'll be hosting various specials for us throughout the year." When Zoe's exit was announced, a source said: "Zoe loved being on air, but she was never going to be a Wogan who lived and breathed the breakfast show for 27 years. "The 4am wake-up calls and missing Woody and Nelly in the mornings took their toll quite early on. She had been thinking about leaving for a while. "The BBC had to work hard to persuade her to stay on in her last contract negotiation a couple of years ago." Her decision was backed by her son Woody, who took to social media to brand her previous wake up times "crazy". The 23-year-old DJ and reality star said: "Well done, Mama, on a fabulous stint on Radio 2! "Here's to more time at home! Excuse the whole family pic can't find enough crackers with @zoetheball. YOU ARE AMAZING. 4AM is a crazy time to get up!" As well as predicting her return on her final BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Robbie Williams also left Zoe fighting back tears as he told her: "I just want to say thank you for your services so far to the entertainment world, to BBC Radio 2, to have all that have gone before you and will come after you. "But for you in particular, the transformative thing that you do and the kindness that you exude is important, and has been important, and will be important to people's lives, so congrats to you." Zoe was replaced by Scott Mills as host of the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
