Pic: Charbonneau/BEI/REX/Shutterstock Taking to Instagram in recent days, the 43-year-old shared a picture of herself wearing lingerie as she noted: 'Last time I wore an actual nightgown out was a La Perla nightgown at a premiere with Colin Farrell… 'I wonder why conservatorship had me wear three layers of tights for 20 years hmmm???' A 'brawl' ensued between Britney and Colin when the Toxic singer visited the Dubliner on set of his 2003 action-thrilled S.W.A.T. The singer and The Penguin actor shared a whirlwind two-week romance back in the early 2000s, not long after Britney's split from Justin Timberlake. Pic:Britney wrote: 'Brawl is the only word for it — we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight.' The singer attended the premiere of Colin's 2003 film, The Recruit, alongside the actor but admitted she wasn't entirely over her relationship with Justin Timberlake. 'As I had before when I'd felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn't over Justin yet,' she detailed. At the premiere, Colin denied any romantic involvement between himself and Britney, telling reporters that she's a 'sweet, sweet girl,' and they were 'just mates.' Elsewhere, Britney claimed she was pressured into having an abortion by Timberlake, writing that he 'definitely wasn't happy' about the 'surprise' and was 'so sure that he didn't want to be a father.' 'I'm sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby,' she admitted.

Bodycam footage relinquished in fatal police shooting in Nunavik
The Nunavik Police Service in Quebec's Far North says officers involved in a fatal shooting on Tuesday night were wearing body cameras. Quebec's police oversight agency, the Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes, announced Wednesday it was investigating the shooting in Kangiqsualujjuaq, on Ungava Bay, and the police service confirmed bodycam video had been shared with the agency. The BEI says members of the Nunavik Police Service had planned to arrest someone who was inside a tent in the Inuit village on the eastern shore of Ungava Bay. In a statement released late Wednesday, the police force said officers had a warrant for the man, but they said he resisted when they tried to arrest him. The police force says officers used pepper spray on the man, who they say emerged from the tent with a knife. An officer tried to subdue the man with a stun gun, but as the incident evolved, an officer opened fire and the victim was later declared dead at a regional health centre.

One person dead after police shooting in Kangiqsualujjuaq, Que.
One person is dead after a fatal police shooting in the Nunavik community of Kangiqsualujjuaq. Quebec's police watchdog, the bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (BEI), is investigating the incident. In a news release Wednesday morning, the BEI shared its preliminary findings. Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night, Nunavik police officers found a wanted person inside a tent and officers used pepper spray to force the person out. That person came out with a bladed weapon and police used a taser to subdue them. A police officer then opened fire, according to the BEI's statement. BEI writes that the individual was taken to a health centre, where they were pronounced dead. Five investigators are heading to the community and are expected to arrive Wednesday afternoon. BEI has body camera footage from the incident. Spokesperson Jérémie Comtois said the agency would analyze that footage for its final report which, once complete, will be submitted to Quebec's director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP). Given the sensitivity of these reports, Comtois said the BEI would not be disclosing anything further from the investigation to the public. "It is possible, subject to the prosecutor's agreement, that certain elements of the investigation will be available for consultation only to the relatives at the end of the process," he said. "Our investigations take on average approximately six months before we send our report to DPCP who will determine whether to bring charges against the police officers involved." The Nunavik Police Service (NPS) declined to comment. a man was killed during an altercation with NPS in the village of Salluit. Later that month, Nunavik's police chief pledged to implement every recommendation from the investigation into that shooting once those investigators' final reports are presented.

Montreal family wants answers after loved one dies following police intervention
A makeshift memorial outside an apartment building in Montreal's Saint-Michel neighbourhood speaks to the anguish the Cruz family is experiencing. 'Because it's been nearly a month since my brother died and we have no information,' Josué Cruz, brother of Abisay Cruz told reporters at a press conference on Wednesday, as their mother Marcelina Isidro fought back tears. Abisay Cruz, was declared dead in hospital after an intervention with Montreal police on March 30th at his mother's home. Neighbours and family members took video recordings and photos of the incident. According to the Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (BEI), police were called to the apartment shortly after 8 a.m. responding to a person in crisis. Saint-Léger said the family doesn't know who placed the call, why police arrived in such large numbers, and why officers were, in the family's view, overly aggressive. Story continues below advertisement 'One witness said one officer kicked Mr. Cruz in the belly when he was already raising his hands as if to surrender,' said Fo Niemi, head of the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations (CRARR), who is advocating for the family. Saint-Léger added that once Cruz was on the ground he was forcefully subdued, reminding them of what happened to George Floyd. 'One of the officers had his knee on his back, almost touching the neck of Mr. Cruz,' he pointed out. According to Niemi, the family still has not gotten a copy of the autopsy. Cruz says the family wants a public inquiry. A spokesperson for the BEI says their investigation is still ongoing and that their probes take an average of six months to complete.
