BSNL rolls out instant cashback offer with ₹299 & above plans
NEW DELHI: State-controlled Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL ) has rolled out instant cashback on recharge of ₹299 or more using the BHIM UPI application, days after India's top private telcos Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel discontinued the entry-level ₹249 plan, which offered 1GB per day. 'Recharge for ₹299 or more using the BHIM payments app and get instant cashback of up to ₹30 in your linked bank account,' said BSNL on its website. Following the latest move, Jio's and Airtel's mobile subscribers will have to buy the pricier ₹299 plans, which provide 1.5GB per day with 28-day validity. Jio offers access to two over-the-top (OTT) applications – JioTV and JioAICloud – with its ₹299 plan, while Airtel offers a complementary subscription to Perplexity Pro AI worth ₹17,000 for 12 months. A Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)-led consortium that comprises homegrown gear maker Tejas Networks and the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) are currently deploying 1 lakh sites for BSNL's commercial 4G foray. According to the latest annual report from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), BSNL's subscriber base increased from 94.75 million in FY24 to 98.74 million in FY25, growing at 4% year-on-year. During this period, its market share grew from 7.9% to 8.22%, compared to Jio's 40.66%, Airtel's 33.41%, and almost two times lower than third-ranked Vodafone Idea 's (Vi) 17.17% share.

SSC MTS and Havaldar 2025: Revised correction dates released, visit official website for updates SSC MTS and recruitment Havaldar 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the correction window dates for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025. As per the official notice issued on July 29, 2025, the correction window will now open from August 4, 2025, and close on August 6, 2025, until 11:00 PM. This update modifies the earlier schedule, which had set the correction window from July 29, 2025, to July 31, 2025. All other terms and conditions mentioned in the original recruitment notice dated June 26, 2025, remain unchanged. Correction charges applicable to all candidates SSC will charge a uniform correction fee for making changes to the application form. Candidates will be required to pay Rs 200 for the first correction attempt and Rs 500 for the second attempt. These charges apply to all candidates, regardless of their gender or category.
