BINI makes US morning show debut on Fox 5's 'Good Morning New York'
BINI just made their US morning show debut! The Nation's Girl Group appeared on 'Good Morning New York,' which airs on Fox 5. The ladies were asked about what it was like performing at The Theater at Madison Square Garden for the NYC stop of their world tour. 'Just hearing those words, it felt surreal,' Jhoanna said. 'And we felt our supporters, their love, we just felt it online and now we get to feel it in person. So we're just really grateful.' Aside from their concert, BINI also attended a Filipino parade. 'We had so much fun and we were able to see all the Filipinos here,' Mikha said. 'And seeing them very united, it's just very heartwarming. And I am just very proud to be a Pinoy and everyone I'm sure are too,' she added. The anchors also asked about the meaning behind the name BINI, which they said comes from 'binibini.' Jhoanna said, 'We hope to represent them, the modern Filipinas.' The group's leader added, 'We are passionate for bringing the Filipino music to the world stage.' Aiah then said they are 'just so excited for this whole tour because it's really our first.' 'Kinda scared too because it's our first but we just hope that we form Blooms all over,' she added. Aside from their interview, BINI also performed their latest single 'Blink Twice.' BINI's next stop for their world tour is Washington, DC on June 3 and then Illinois on June 6. The group released their latest EP 'BINIVerse' in February which includes 'Cherry on Top,' 'Blink Twice,' and 'Zero Pressure.' BINI is set to release a new single titled 'Shagidi' on June 5 at 9 p.m., as part of their special tour lineup. Dubbed 'The Nation's Girl Group,' BINI teased the upbeat track with a playful video referencing the classic Filipino game Shagidi, Shagidi, Shapopo, hinting at a fun and energetic vibe. The song's artwork—designed by group member Maloi—features graffiti-style text with a colorful jeepney in the backdrop. Pre-saves for the single are now available on streaming platforms. BINI is coming out with a new single aoon~ The Nation's Girl Group is set to release 'Shagidi,' dubbed a 'special tour single,' on June 5 at 9 p.m. BINI teased the song with a video of them playing the classic Filipino game, Shagidi, Shagidi, Shapopo. An upbeat pop song then played in the background. They also revealed the song's art done by member Maloi featuring graffiti of the word 'Shagidi' with a jeepney in the background. Pre-saves are now available. BINI is currently on their first world tour, which started on May 18 in Dubai. BINI released their latest EP 'BINIVerse' in February which includes previously-released singles 'Cherry on Top,' 'Blink Twice,' and 'Zero Pressure.' BINI sings acapella version of 'Zero Pressure' in famed Abbey Road Studios in London
BINI just flaunted their vocal prowess in the streets of London! On Instagram, the Nation's Girl Group shared a video of themselves singing their song "Zero Pressure" in front of the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. "Wat hafen BINI? Zero pressure… pero na-pressure sa 'Zero Pressure' acapella in front of the iconic Abbey Road Studios!" the caption read. Abbey Road Studios is one of the most iconic recording studios in the world. It gained global fame as the place where The Beatles recorded the majority of their music, including their legendary 1969 album "Abbey Road"—from which the studio later took its name. The zebra crossing outside the studio where the band posed for their "Abbey Road" album cover has now become a popular tourist attraction. BINI is currently in London as part of their "BINIVerse" world tour. Before their London concert, the girls performed in Dubai as the opening leg of their show.
