‘Unemployed': Nicole Kidman's nepo niece Lucia Hawley reveals she's struggling to find work after leaving Australia for the UK
Nicole Kidman's niece has revealed she is struggling to find work months after she left her plum role with the Seven Network. Lucia Hawley, who previously did hosting duties for digital channel 7Bravo, quit the network last year amid social media accusations that she was a nepo baby. In her Substack, Hawley detailed how she was getting on with her new life in the UK. 'On June 18, I officially made the move to London. On paper, this is a totally stupid decision, and honestly, frightens me (someone hire me pls),' the TV star wrote. 'I am risk-averse, which means my body quite literally rejects the idea of both moving overseas and being unemployed.' As to why she leftAustralia in the first place, Hawley admitted: "The first six months of the year were difficult for me career-wise. I lacked direction and faced numerous rejections in the pursuit of something better. This period was pretty taxing on my confidence, and I eventually began to feel like there was just simply not much left for me in Sydney (at least for now)." Speaking about her current employment prospects, she wrote, "I have moved to a new country and am staring down the barrel of what could be another very gruelling job hunt—ultimately, facing even more uncertainty than I was before." Hawley also admitted she struggled to part ways with her siblings and her boyfriend Henry, who are still in Australia. 'Saying goodbye to Henry was incredibly difficult (I am traumatized by airport goodbyes). Even harder were the goodbyes to my family — I kissed my little brothers through floods of tears,' she wrote. Ms Hawley served as social media host for Free to Air TV network 7Bravo, a joint operation between the Seven Network and Bravo TV in the United States. Following her departure, the show announced in December that former Bachelor star Bella Varelis would take over the reins. Hawley is the daughter of Nicole Kidman's sister Antonia, 54. The TV host boasts a close friendship with the Oscar winner, as she recently returned from a lavish vacation in Croatia with her mother and the Babygirl star.

Abbie Chatfield sparks engagement rumours with boyfriend Adam Hyde as she sports huge ring
Abbie Chatfield has sparked engagement rumours with boyfriend Adam Hyde after showing off some bling she received on her 30th birthday. The Bachelor star shared a video to Instagram on Monday in which she revealed the custom made ring Adam gifted her for her birthday. 'So my 30th birthday and I was wondering what he is going to do for me. We were in Greece for my actual birthday so I only recently got my present but it's so cute,' she said. 'For context, he calls me bug because one day we were in bed and he said "you're like a little bug". Ever since then, [he calls me bug]. So me being buggy he got me this custom made,' Abbie explained before opening a heart-shaped box to reveal the ring. She then placed the band on her ring finger and held it up towards the camera. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It's a bug ring. Is that not the cutest, coolest, sickest 30th birthday present? It's so weird... I thought you would all be wondering what he got me and I just wanted to show it off,' she added. Many fans flocked to the comments to question whether she was wearing the ring on her engagement finger. 'Hahahaha I did see the left hand engagement ring finger,' one person commented. 'Little do you know, you're now engaged,' another said while a third wrote: 'She did pop it on that finger.' Abbie immediately shut down speculation, explaining she was wearing the ring on her right hand but the camera flipped the image to make it seem it was her left finger. Abbie and Adam have been going from strength-to-strength since debuting their romance in June 2024 and she has even featured in his on-stage performances. She joined Adam on stage for his band Peking Duk's New Year's Eve set at the Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide as they rang in 2025 together. In pictures shared to Instagram, the couple packed on the PDA as they weren't shy of sharing their affections in front of the thousands of fans in the crowds. One on-stage video showed the couple leading the crowd in the countdown to 2025 before sharing a New Year's kiss. Earlier this year, Abbie told Stellar Magazine that her relationship with Adam is the best she's ever had. 'It isn't like other people I've had flings with. And this is gonna sound a bit w**ky, but he's had a bigger career than me,' she said after concerns from fans that Adam is 'using her' for fame. 'I don't think he's using me for anything. He's successful in his own right. 'I think I'm cool for being with him, not the other way around.' Abbie was friends with Adam for two years before they started dating, which she said has added to the trust between them.

'That is not my job': Bachelor host Osher Gunsberg embroiled in fiery clash with Dancing with the Stars judge Craig Revel Horwood before elimination
Former Bachelor Host Osher Gunsberg went down fighting on Sunday's episode of Dancing with The Stars Australia, hitting back at one of the judges in a tense exchange. Gunsberg danced the Argentine tango to David Bowie's classic 'Fashion' with dance partner Sriani Argatet, but the performance got a universal rebuke from the judging panel. Judge Craig Revel Horwood was the harshest, declaring the routine a 'right royal mess'. The response earned a clap back from the former Network 10 personality who told Mr Horwood, 'Would you like to try going down that perspex ramp in those heels, sir? You are more than welcome to show me how to do it.' The comment earned a rebuke from Mr Revel-Horwood who said, 'That is not my job.' 'But I need you to be doing it in a tango step while the person next to you is on one foot and you're holding them – after you,' Gunsberg continued. Horwood then went on to say the routine was erratic and contained mistakes left right and centre, before going onto say that he should have attempted an easier routine. Despite Mr Gunsberg scoring 15 points and eventually being voted off the show, social media comments on the dance routine have been largely in his favour. 'It was unfair for you to go tonight. You did a great job,' wrote one. 'Not gonna lie. I kinda cheered with Osher gave it back to Craig,' said another. Some were also negative with one saying, 'I found Osher hard to like.' And another said 'arguing with the judges' comments (as much as you don't agree with them) doesn't put you in a good light. Love you but just need to #chillax' The loss of the former Bachelor Host means there are currently four celebrity contestants out of a possible 40 left in the competition, which airs on the Seven Network. Home and Away star Kyle Shilling received a perfect score of 40 in Sunday's episode, while Felicity Ward, Mia Fevola and Shaun Micallef also stayed in. DWTS Australia is the international name for the popular British TV show Strictly Come Dancing which airs on the BBC in the UK, with the format exported to over 60 countries including Australia.
