Barbie Forteza and Maris Racal on a project together? We're seated! On X (formerly Twitter), the two stars expressed mutual interest in working together. Maris saw that Barbie showed support for her recent film in the platform and reposted it with a screenshot of them during their stint on a Netflix digital show last year. "Barbie what if… work tayo," she wrote. In return, the Kapuso Primetime Princess also expressed her interest in working with Maris. "What if... game," she replied. David Licauco to make appearance in ‘Beauty Empire'
David Licauco is set to make a special appearance in 'Beauty Empire,' which stars Barbie Forteza. According to Nelson Canlas' report in '24 Oras,' Wednesday, David's guesting is a gift for the 'abangers' of the BarDa shippers. 'Plot twist ba ito?' Barbie said. 'Actually, matagal na siya dapat pumasok pero 'yun, finally. OK din na ngayon siya pumasok dahil, like, bumibigat na rin 'yung mga eksena namin, so perfect timing din talaga.' David said that it had been seven months since he last acted, so this made him excited. 'Also, obviously, I'm working with Barbie again,' he said. Barbie and David became a love team when they starred together as Fidel and Klay in "Maria Clara at Ibarra." They later starred in several more projects, including "Maging Sino Ka Man," "Pulang Araw," and the film "That Kind of Love." Barbie Forteza is all praises for her friend and "Beauty Empire" co-star Kyline Alcantara. In her GMA Integrated News interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired in "24 Oras" Tuesday, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared that this is the first time she and Kyline worked together in a teleserye. "Nakakatrabaho ko na po siya dati sa 'All-Out Sundays,' sumasayaw na kami together, nag-s-spiels na kami together pero ngayon ko lang siya na-experience as an actress at masasabi ko na she's very delightful and generous," praised Barbie. "She's very genuine when it comes to giving emotions sa eksena. Marunong siyang magtimpla ng eksena at tsaka malalim 'yung hugot niya bilang aktor," she added. Barbie and Kyline's friendship has gotten even deeper as they started working together in "Beauty Empire." In Kyline's previous GMA Integrated News interview, she shared that she has wanted to work with Barbie since she started in GMA Network in 2018. "Right now, I have the privilege of working with her, so ang sarap po sa pakiramdam. As in idol ko po talaga at lagi ko naman sinasabi 'yan kay Barbie pag nagkaka-eksena pa rin kami.
