'I discovered £22 lengthening mascara in £13 LookFantastic box'

LookFantastic's latest beauty box is packed with six products from brands like Lanolips, BeautyPro, Olaplex, Aromatherapy Associates and more As a beauty writer, I love discovering new products that are worth shouting about. And one particular brand helps me do exactly that each month with its monthly subscription box. LookFantastic sends out its beauty boxes at the start of each month and its June edit is filled with a variety of products to help give enjoy some pampering as well as keep their beauty arsenal topped up. And one product in particular from this month has me swooning at the product, application and results. Costing £15 for a one off payment or £13 a month when signing up for a 12-month commitment, the box contains six different products that cover hair, skincare, make-up and bath time. LookFantastic 's beauty haul rivals the likes of Glossybox's own subscription model which is one less item in and costs £13.50 for a off payment and £12.50 for a 12 month subscription. Meanwhile, OK!'s beauty box subscription is £8.99 and this month contains names like NUXE, Revolution Beauty and Mudmasky. With four full-size products and two deluxe sizes, the box itself has a total value of over £60, meaning beauty buffs can save £45 on names like Lanolips, BeautyPro, Olaplex, Aromatherapy Associates and more. The June Beauty Box (Worth Over £60) from Lookfantastic Product Description And three products have fast become my faves, with one standing out to me as a product I'll order again - despite having never previously heard of the brand. Sweed is a beauty brand whose products are vegan and designed with professional performance in mind. With award-winning products that promote a gorgeous 'no-makeup makeup look', its Pro Lash Life Mascara, which is included in this month's LookFantastic Beauty Box and usually costs £22, has left me seriously impressed. Plus, the brand works in collaboration with the organization Billion Baby Turtles and for every mascara sold, they rescue one sea turtle, which brings me joy. Now onto the mascara. As someone with relatively sensitive eyes and lashes that don't exactly have an impressive flutter naturally, I'm always sceptical when testing out new mascaras to see if they'll cause irritation or leave my eyelashes to flop. Thankfully, this mascara - which comes in an appealing aqua blue tube - gave a lovely lift to my lashes with only one coat and with its uniquely shaped skinny, one-sided brush, allowed me to coat each lash easily without any clumping. The brand explains its 'groundbreaking skinny brush starts coating each individual lash from root to tip creating maximum definition and a volume beyond belief'. The black shade also gave a lovely depth to my lashes too and gave me a bit of a confidence boost. I also love that the formula is infused with vitamin B5 to nourish lashes which is an added bonus. Plus, when it comes to taking it off, it melts of relatively easily. I went in first with warm water before setting my trusty Nivea eye make up remover on it to get the last dregs. All in all, Sweed's mascara gets a 10/10 from me. Also included in the box that proved useful, especially in the summer, is the Lanolips Lip Scrub. As someone who suffers from dry and flaky lips, this formula which is made with real ground coconut shell gave my lips a lovely softness and they smelt amazing with its coconut scent. The 70% lanolin is really effective in deeply hydrating and, throughout winter and summer Lanolips is one of the only lip products I use to help keep chapped lips at bay. While this scrub does a great job at doing the same sort of thing whilst buffing away any dead skin, the only slight nuisance is that its instructions suggest: 'Apply with your fingers and gently rub against lips for about 15 seconds. Dab away remaining scrub particles, leave behind the balm.' Now, unfortunately, being a relatively sticky product, it's not actually that easy to dab the particles away without taking off some of the balm, meaning when trying to do so I take most of it off. So its a technique I'm yet to perfect but practice makes perfect. Another really useful product in the box this month is the LookFantastic No Crease Clips (Full Size) Worth Over £9. While they may be simple, these clips are so handy for clipping fringes or loose bits of hair back, washing my face or even just wearing them to go out. I can confirm they do not leave dents in the hair, unlike some clips of this style, which makes them goldust. The three remaining products I'm saving for a day when I need of a bit of TLC are the Olaplex No. 9 Bond Protector Heat Protection and Frizz Reduction Nourishing Hair Serum, Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil and Beauty Pro Warming Eye Mask, all of which require time and space to indulge. The one I'm most excited to try is the warming eye mask, as someone who suffers from dry and tired eyes quite a lot. Having tested the Aromatherapy Associates oil out slightly too, I can confirm that it smells divine and just like I've walked into a spa oozing with essential oils. What's more, it left my skin super soft.

Skincare gadget loved by Dita Von Teese that has dermatologists 'surprised by the results'

A top celebrity makeup artist who has worked on stars such as Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley swears by one essential product she takes 'on every job'. The LYMA Laser is her go-to gadget for combating signs of ageing like wrinkles and pigmentation. Romy Soleimani, the MUA behind the faces of A-list actors, said: "I take it on every single job with me because it's so easy to travel with." This clinical-grade cold laser device isn't just a favourite of Soleimani - it's also endorsed by stars including Sienna Miller, Kate Beckinsale, Cynthia Erivo, and Dita Von Teese. Designed specifically for the face and neck, the LYMA Laser comes with a special lens tailored for these areas, but it can also be used for other parts of the body like the knees. Priced at £1,999, it provides a pain-free approach to skin rejuvenation. The device is engineered to rejuvenate skin by reactivating cells vital for collagen and elastin production, and increasing energy reserves devoted to detoxification and hydration. The result is an accelerated regeneration of skin cells, which means tighter, brighter, and more youthful skin, reports the Mirror. LYMA LYMA also offers an upscale Pro model priced at £4,995. However, there is competition in the market, with alternatives such as the CurrentBody LED Face Mask Series 2, which costs £399. The innovative LED face mask employs red light therapy to ramp up collagen production, promising impressive results like a 30% reduction in wrinkles and 57% enhancement in skin plumpness. Elsewhere, BeautyPro has a selection of travel-friendly beauty gadgets, including the LED Wand Device priced at £79. This nifty device uses red light therapy to help smooth and firm skin, making it a must-have for beauty enthusiasts on the go. Speaking on the development of the laser, Lucy Goff, the founder of LYMA, said: "The original version of the LYMA Laser's technology was a gigantic floor-standing machine. Over 120 iterations, we got it down to a portable, painless - and yet incredibly powerful - little device. It's light, and easy to use when at home or on the move, because travel is integral to so many lives." She added: "That's why it's also safe for hand luggage. It truly is the only device you need, and it fits perfectly into whatever routine you already have, whether at home on the sofa or while travelling." With 150 customer reviews, LYMA's Laser is receiving praise, with one user giving it five stars and commenting: "I love it. I am in control of my skin." Another penned: "Though I haven't finished the full three months, I am seeing positive results on my 71-year-old skin. Nice smooth texture, lessening of fine lines, and maybe some reductions in my deep wrinkles. I have trouble doing it every day, but I do it 5-6 times a week. "Must say, I do find the treatment very relaxing, and it is something I look forward to doing. I am planning to splurge on the Pro version - cutting the treatment time will help me be more consistent. Thanks for a great product and very responsive customer service." One customer expressed their ambivalence about the product, stating: "I'm having mixed feelings about this product I do like the laser but for what my reason for it I not sure if it is helping [and] it is a commitment." A fourth shared: "We dermatologists are not big fans of at-home devices. In general we think that clinic based treatments will give faster and dramatic outcomes. I bought this device anyway to treat myself for Christmas. I already had good skin but I was starting to notice sagging skin and signs of ageing." Detailing their experience, they continued: "After two months of use (which could have been more consistent but Christmas and holidays happened) I am surprised by the results... my jawline is prominent, skin is more even-toned, overall I feel more confident (certain changes even I can't pinpoint). I am so pleased I took the risk and bought it. Definitely be recommending to my right set of patients." A fifth provided a hopeful conclusion: "Takes commitment, but I am two weeks in and people are already commenting on the luminosity of my skin."

Other stars such as Sienna Miller, Kate Beckinsale and Cynthia Erivo also credit the laser's skin benefits A celebrity makeup artist (MUA) who travels the globe painting famous faces such as Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley says there's one product she takes 'on every job'. The LYMA Laser effectively treats signs of ageing, such as wrinkles, pigmentation, sagging, and a lacklustre complexion. The actors' MUA, Romy Soleimani, says: "I take it on every single job with me because it's so easy to travel with." The clinical-grade cold laser device is also loved by other A-listers, including the likes of Sienna Miller, Kate Beckinsale, Cynthia Erivo and Dita Von Teese. LYMA Laser's lens has been specifically designed for optimal use on the face, neck and targeted areas of concern, such as knees. It is painless to use, and costs £1,999. The laser promises to speed up the rejuvenation process by 'switching back on' the cells responsible for collagen and elastin synthesis, and increasing energy reserves devoted to detoxification and hydration. The supercharged skin cells are then able to regenerate at a much faster rate resulting in firmer, brighter, younger-looking skin. LYMA also sells a Pro version retailing at £4,995. There are alternatives on the market, for instance, this LED Face Mask Series 2 from CurrentBody i s a market leader at £399. 10 best beauty buys for your feet

Are you confident enough to show off your feet this spring? If not, no worries. These are the best, hardest-working products to buy now to get your feet sandal-ready in double-quick time. BeautyPro Foot & Callus Peel This is one of those 'tie around your feet, leave for up to two hours and then remove and rinse your feet' masks. You might be tempted to wonder why I recommended it over the next few days, but then suddenly your hard skin will peel away like a snake shedding its skin. Just be prepared that this takes a week to all come off and it is an unsightly process. You have been warned. Once finished, though, hard heels and dry calloused skin are a mere memory.
