Women's EPL: Al Zamalek to Host Al Ahly on Dec 5

Rana Atef Zamalek Women's Football Team will host rivals Al Ahly in the highly anticipated Women's Premier League derby for the new season on December 5, with the match set to take place at Zamalek Club's Mit Okba stadium. The Egyptian Football Association has officially informed the participating clubs that the 2025–2026 Women's Premier League season will kick off on August 22. This season will feature the participation of 17 clubs: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Wadi Degla, Al Mokawloon Al Arab, El Tayaran, ENPPI, NBE, ZED, Palm Hills, Masar, SIK FC, Ra'a, Modern Sport, Etihad Basyoun, Pyramids, Al Masry, and El Gouna. Women's Egyptian Premier League to Kick off on September 1

Rana Atef The Egyptian Football Association set September 1 as the new start date for the upcoming Women's Football League season, instead of the previously proposed date of August 22. The new season of the Women's Football League will feature 17 clubs: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Wadi Degla, Arab Contractors, Aviation, ENPPI, National Bank, ZED, Palm Hills, Masar, SAK FC, Ra'a, Modern Sport, Itihad Basyoun, Pyramids, Al Masry, and El Gouna. The opening week fixtures are as follows: National Bank vs. Ra'a Al Ahly vs. Aviation El Gouna vs. ENPPI Al Masry vs. Itihad Basyoun Modern Sport vs. Masar Zamalek vs. Palm Hills Wadi Degla vs. Arab Contractors ZED vs. Pyramids SAK FC: bye The draw also revealed that Zamalek will face Al Ahly in rounds 12 and 29 of the Premier League season. Real Madrid Revenues Surpass €1 Bln for 2nd Consecutive Season

The Spanish giants reached a new milestone as their revenues surpassed €1.185 billion, excluding player transfer income. This marks a 10% increase compared to the previous year and reinforces the club's status as the first football club in history to surpass the €1 billion revenue mark in two consecutive seasons. According to the club's official statement, net profit after tax amounted to €24 million, while adjusted operating profit (EBITDA) reached €208 million, rising to €243 million when factoring in full operational earnings which are the highest figures in the club's history in this regard. Real Madrid also continued to maintain strong financial stability. Vancouver International Airport Briefly Closed After Report of 'Hijacking'

Rana Atef Vancouver International Airport, one of the largest in Canada, was briefly closed following reports of a 'hijacking' involving a small aircraft, according to authorities. Police stated they received a report at around 1:10 p.m. indicating that a Cessna 172 — a single-engine, four-seat aircraft — had been diverted from the Vancouver Island area and was approaching the airspace around Vancouver International Airport, located in western Canada. According to Al-Nashra News, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) clarified in a statement: 'The suspect was the only person on board the plane and was apprehended without incident shortly after landing the aircraft, less than an hour later.' As a result, nine incoming flights were diverted from Vancouver International Airport.
