Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], May 31 (ANI): Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday attended the 'Women Empowerment Conference' organised on the occasion of 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar in Jaipur. Union Minister Nadda and Chief Minister Sharma also flagged off the 150 Kalika units on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. Addressing the event, Nadda said that India has underwent a positive change in the last 10 years. Praising Rajasthan Chief Minister, the Union Minister stated that CM Sharma along with his team is working day and night for the welfare of the state. 'In 10 years, India has undergone a positive we need to understand that a policymaker is very is not about picking Bhajanlal Sharma as CM, it is about picking a soldier who has similar ideology who, along with his team is working day and night is serving Rajasthan...,' Nadda asserted. During the event, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, ' This event is dedicated to the 'Nari Shakti' in the 'Balika Durasth Shiksha Yojana', Rs 10 crore has been provided to pay the fees of 20,000 girl 'Lakhpati Didi scheme', we have allotted loans to 1,800 beneficiaries...' Earlier today, Nadda paid tribute his heartfelt tribute to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar on the occasion of her 300th birth anniversary. In a social media post on X, Nadda wrote, 'I pay my heartfelt tributes to the great devotee of Lord Shiva, the great heroine who dedicated her entire life in the service of Indian culture and humanity, 'Lokmata' revered Devi Ahilyabai Holkar ji on her 300th birth anniversary. 'Punyashlok' Devi Ahilya Bai laid the foundation of 'Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat' throughout India to protect India's spiritual and cultural heritage.' 'Today, the whole of India is celebrating her 300th birth anniversary year with great enthusiasm and the country is expressing its gratitude for her work for the service of Mother India and the protection of our ancient Sanatan culture. The biography of Lokmata will be remembered for ages for women empowerment, preservation of religion and culture, and service to humanity,' the social media post reads. Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar is remembered for her people-centric policies, deep commitment to economic and socio-cultural issues, especially those that affected the life of women. She encouraged the education of women and their participation in the social and religious life of the local community. She supported and encouraged women weavers to make Maheshwari sarees. Her contributions were wide-ranging from infrastructure development (water bodies, roads, dharamshalas) to reconstruction and revival of temples across the length and breadth of the land. The edifices created by her have not only left an indelible mark on India's cultural and spiritual landscape but also stood the test of time. (ANI)

JAIPUR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda visited Jaipur on Saturday for a one-day tour. During his visit, he praised the BJP-led "double engine" government in Rajasthan, highlighting the role of policy-making and the welfare schemes introduced by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. Speaking to reporters at Jaipur airport, Nadda said that Operation Sindoor, along with the earlier surgical and air strikes, had shown that India would not hesitate to retaliate if provoked. 'If anyone raises an eye towards India, we will respond by entering their territory. Operation Sindoor is still ongoing,' he said. At a program held at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC), Nadda emphasised the importance of policy-makers in driving development. 'It's not just about making Bhajanlal Sharma the Chief Minister. It's about placing a committed worker of our ideology at the helm — someone who, along with his team, is serving Rajasthan under the leadership of Modi ji,' he said. He described the Rajasthan government's schemes, particularly those aimed at women's empowerment, as a model for the nation. 'Initiatives like 'Garbh Ki Pathshaala' are transformational and will bring significant change to society,' Nadda said.

New Delhi [India], May 29 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will visit New Delhi this afternoon to hold a key meeting with Union Minister for Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar. According to officials, the meeting will be attended by senior Rajasthan officials, including Energy Secretary Aarti Dogra and Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Secretary Vaibhav Galeria. The discussions are expected to focus on key projects, including metro rail initiatives, the e-bus scheme, NCR Planning Board matters, and battery storage projects. The high-level meeting is anticipated to accelerate Rajasthan's energy, urban development, and housing projects, with potential for central government support and approvals for several major projects or schemes. The Chief Minister will also visit the Khetda Padawala Bhagwan Mandir in Bhilwara for darshan and worship between 12:25 PM and 12:40 PM. By 12:50 PM, he will depart Udaipur via helicopter, arriving back at Jaipur Airport by 1:05 PM. His journey will continue with a special plane ride to New Delhi Airport at 1:15 PM, landing at 2:30 PM. From there, he will travel by car to Jodhpur House, New Delhi, reaching by 3:20 PM for rest and local engagements, as stated in the official release. Earlier, the Rajasthan CM participated in the NDA CM conclave on Sunday, where he saw the participation of 20 Chief Ministers and 18 Deputy Chief Ministers from various states. Sharma presented a resolution, which was approved by Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. The resolution discussed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership skills and the heroic deeds of the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor. The resolution was passed with a full majority during the meeting, and the strikes conducted by the Indian Armed Forces on Pakistan's terror hideouts were praised. The proposal also discussed the work being done under PM Modi's leadership towards 'Sashakt Bharat, Samarth Bharat, and Atmanirbhar Bharat'. The NDA CM conclave included a significant discussion on commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Emergency, declared on June 25, 1975.
