Amitabh Bachchan Buys Fourth Property In Ayodhya Worth Rs 40 Crore: Report
New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan has made another major real estate investment in Ayodhya. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the actor has purchased a 25,000 square feet plot in the city for Rs 40 crore. What This marks his fourth property acquisition in Ayodhya in the past year. The newly acquired land is reportedly located near a premium real estate project named 'Sarayu', where Big B had previously invested. Background This latest purchase comes just days after Amitabh Bachchan invested Rs 10 crore each in a real estate company owned by Bollywood producer Anand Pandit. As per Mint, Big B had earlier bought a 5,372 square feet plot in Ayodhya before the Ram Temple inauguration last year. He reportedly paid Rs 4.54 crore for it. He has also invested Rs 14.5 crore in the Sarayu project and acquired a 54,000 square feet plot that was registered under the name of his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan's trust. Reports state that he plans to build a memorial for his father on that land. The veteran actor has shown a keen interest in real estate over the past year. Along with his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, he bought 10 apartments last year worth a total of Rs 25 crore. Actor and Rajya Sabha member Jaya Bachchan had declared the couple's total assets last year as part of her election affidavit. The couple's combined assets were valued at Rs 1,578 crore, with Rs 849.11 crore in movable property and Rs 729.77 crore in immovable property. These numbers may have changed since the declaration. Amitabh Bachchan also recently sold a duplex apartment in Mumbai's Andheri area for Rs 83 crore. As reported by the Times of India, he had purchased the property in 2021 for Rs 31 crore. In A Nutshell Amitabh Bachchan has purchased his fourth property in Ayodhya, a 25,000 sq ft plot worth Rs 40 crore-marking another major real estate investment in the city. This follows earlier investments, including land near the Sarayu project, a memorial plot for his father, and a pre-Ram Temple inauguration purchase.

Big B once wrote in his blog, 'A dedicated follower and one that has always been respected by the fraternity, his concern and love for all is legendary – slit his chest and took a pledge on his blood for my well being during my Coolie episode. How can one ever forget that'. Bachchan was critically injured in the intestines while filming a fight scene in the 1983 film with co-star Puneet Issar which almost cost him his life. Amitabh was a star by then and Mithun was in his struggling period. In the same blog, Big B recounted Mithun's loyalty for him on the sets of his film 1976 Do Anjane in which Mithun did a cameo. He wrote, 'During the shoot for Do Anjane at Calcutta he used to run around enthusiastically ready to carry my bags for me. I would desist from him doing this, but he went ahead and did it always'.

Big B took to his blog and wrote, 'And they tell me to change my signature .. to not put dots in it .. to not put curved lines .. to wear this to wear that .. to not visit here or there .. to not talk here, to not talk there .. when you talk they say why do you talk .. when you do not talk they say why you do not talk." He shared a few lines from his late legendary father Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poetry and wrote, 'I may be carefree for myself; but I care for all. I know that there is no value within me; but even then I keep a valued relationship, a propinquity, with some." 'I have learnt how to live life, from the seas and oceans; to flow quietly and to exist in your own ardor your own avidity and zest The learnings from Babuji, my revered Father .. an eternal gift for my living and learning .. my gratitude and my affection." Speaking about India overtaking Japan to become the world's fourth-largest economy, he said, 'And as I said on the X .. we become the 4rth largest economy in the World, beating Japan…. and in another 2.5 to 3 yrs shall become the 3rd largest economy in the World!!" Big B added, 'What an Incredible achievement for a Country that became Independent just 75 yrs + ago. How many other nations that got Independent 75 yrs back, have attained this kind of achievement." In the same blog, Big B also praised the courage of the Agniveers — the young soldiers serving under India's Agnipath scheme. 'What of the AgniVeers… the young fighters who protected us during the recent attack on our land," he wrote. He described them as disciplined, patriotic, and full of courage and commitment. 'These soldiers serve for four years, gaining vital military experience.
