This comes as part of the brand's revised strategy for the big bikes that includes a slew of launches. The new Honda CB750 Hornet was launched last month at ₹ 859.500 (ex-showroom). Honda launches 50th Anniversary Gold Wing Tour at ₹39.9 lakh
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the launch of the 2025 Gold Wing Tour – 50th Anniversary Edition. Marking 50 years of the Gold Wing platform, the motorcycle will be available exclusively through Honda's premium BigWing Topline dealerships. The ex-showroom price has been set at ₹39.90 lakh in Gurugram, Haryana. Tsutsumu Otani, MD, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, stated, 'We are ecstatic to introduce the 50th Anniversary Gold Wing Tour in India. The launch of the 2025 Gold Wing Tour commemorates an iconic journey that began in 1975. Over the past five decades, the Gold Wing platform has evolved into a symbol of class, comfort, and endurance. The 50th Anniversary Edition is a tribute to this unmatched legacy and a celebration of our commitment to engineering excellence for long-distance touring connoisseurs.' Features and specifications The 2025 Gold Wing Tour includes a new emblem featuring 50th Anniversary and 'since 1975' detailing. It features a full-LED lighting system and air vents designed to improve airflow. A 7.0-inch full-colour TFT display provides navigation, riding, and audio information. The model includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and displays a custom welcome screen. Other equipment includes an adjustable electric screen, improved speakers, Bluetooth support with two USB type-C sockets, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Powering the motorcycle is a 1,833cc, liquid-cooled, flat six-cylinder engine producing 93 kW and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The model comes equipped with Throttle-By-Wire, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and an airbag. Riders can select from four modes: Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain. The 2025 CB750 Hornet gets a revamped design with a new dual-LED projector headlamp that replaces the original unit. The tank and seat area is made narrow with muscular shrouds flanking on either side, bringing a sharp and aggressive look that remains ergonomic. The CB750 Hornet will be available in two bold colour schemes – Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic. Honda CB750 Hornet: Features The MY25 update brings a new colour-TFT display for the CB750 Hornet, and this five-inch unit gets a revised menu design. Operated by the four-way toggle on the left-hand side switchgear, the customisable display features Honda RoadSync connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and media controls. The bike further features an illuminated switchgear, Honda Selectable Torque Control, an emergency stop signal, and four riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain, and customisable User mode. Honda CB750 Hornet: Engine and performance The CB750 Hornet is powered by the same 755 cc parallel-twin that drives the XL750 Transalp, making 90.5 bhp and 75 Nm of torque. The CB750 Hornet is powered by a 755 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine that comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. This 8-valve motor features a 270-degree crank that has an uneven firing sequence to bring a distinctive pulse. With this powerplant, the CB750 Hornet makes 90.5 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, topping out at 205 kmph. Honda CB750 Hornet: Hardware Built around a diamond frame, the Honda CB750 Hornet is fitted with a Showa SFF-BPTM inverted fork at the front and a monoshock damper paired with a Pro-Link swingarm at the rear. This ensures ride comfort across a range of speeds and road conditions. Riding on 17-inch cast aluminium wheels, the bike is equipped with 296 mm dual front disc brakes and a 240 mm rear disc, which are supported with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. Bookings are now open at Honda's BigWing dealerships across India, with deliveries expected to begin in June 2025. The Honda X-ADV engine is a 745cc liquid-cooled SOHC 8-valve parallel-twin engine, delivering 43.1 kW of power and 69 Nm of torque. It has Honda's acclaimed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) for seamless gear shifts. It is ideal for city cruising and adventure touring, tuned to deliver strong low- to mid-range performance. It produces 43.1 kW of power at 6,750 RPM and 69 Nm of maximum torque at 4,750 RPM, offering smooth and responsive acceleration across all terrains.
