Chynna Phillips goes on tirade against husband Billy Baldwin... as she slams 'power and control' in marriage
Chynna Phillips has gone on a brutal tirade against husband Billy Baldwin - brazenly confessing that she was 'turned off' during their first kiss, accusing him of using 'power and control' during the first years of their relationship, and claiming he's now jealous of her love of Jesus. The former musician, 57, who converted to Christianity in 2022, opened up about her 'complicated' marriage in an unflinchingly honest video shared to her faith-based YouTube channel California Preachin' on Monday. She laid bare a series of devastating problems that have plagued her and Billy's relationship over the years in a shocking, 16-minute-long rant, detailing how her newfound love of religion had driven a wedge between them. She said Billy has 'struggled' with her 'Jesus journey' and theorized that he feels 'upstaged by the big man,' before she begged Jesus to help 'heal and restore and refurbish' their marriage. 'Billy struggles with the whole Jesus journey that I'm on and I think sometimes he feels like he's being upstaged by the big man,' she said. 'But what can I do about that? He's like, "Doesn't that get exhausting to talk about Jesus all day? Doesn't it get exhausting to be on this one-way flight with Jesus all the time?" 'And I'm like, "Dude this is where it's all happening, this is the most exciting, most exhilarating, most fulfilling place that I could be walking." 'I think he's just missing the mark a little bit and that's where there's a little bit of separation [between us]. 'I don't judge Billy, I never force him to read the Bible I don't ask him to go to church but the thing is this is my life, this is my life's journey, my passion - what I plan on doing for the rest of my days is loving and following Jesus.' Chynna went on to admit that she had 'fallen into a destructive pattern with her husband' and that she hasn't been 'forgiving' enough in recent months. 'I haven't been kind and I haven't been forgiving and I haven't been patient and I haven't been giving of myself in an emotional way,' she continued. 'I feel like I have shut down in many ways. I feel like it's been unfair to Billy, the way that I have treated him. I feel like I really dropped the ball.' But according to Chynna, their struggles didn't just start recently, as she also spoke about the 'heartbreaking' early years of their romance. She explained that they met when they were both on the same plane back in 1991 and he approached her and introduced himself. At the time, she joked that she was 'white as a ghost' because she had just watched his film Backdraft a few days earlier and 'thought that he was like the most gorgeous specimen that she had ever laid eyes on.' They ended up exchanging numbers at baggage claim and started dating soon after, but she also confessed that their first kiss left her 'a little turned off.' She said Billy has 'struggled' with her 'Jesus journey' and theorized that he feels 'upstaged by the big man,' before she begged Jesus to help 'heal and restore and refurbish' their marriage She recalled how he made the move outside of a bathroom in a nightclub. 'He just grabs me and he goes, "Can I borrow some lipstick?" And he comes in for the kiss,' she explained. 'I was so upset because I'd been waiting for this first kiss and this is how he approaches me? This is how he goes in for the first kiss? '"Can I borrow some lipstick?" I was like, "No ew no why did he just do that?" I was a little turned off.' Even so, Chynna said she continued to fall head over heals for Billy - but she claimed that when he took a long time to propose to her she started to feel extremely discouraged. She remembered one time that she decided to take matters into her own hand and got down on one knee and asked Billy to marry her with a tinfoil ring. But the actor said no, and it left her 'heartbroken, livid, and disgusted.' 'After about a year of dating Billy I was so in love and I was so certain that this was my husband,' she said. Even so, Chynna said she continued to fall head over heals for Billy - but she claimed that when he took a long time to propose to her she started to feel extremely discouraged 'I went into the kitchen and I grabbed a piece of aluminum foil and I wrapped it up and made it into a ring and got down on one knee in front of him. 'I literally proposed to Billy and he said no. And I was heartbroken and livid and disgusted all in one ball of emotion. I felt very dejected and rejected... I was mortified.' She said for nearly three years after that there were 'issues' between them stemming from him not wanting to tie the knot. She shared, 'Basically what ensued after that was just [years] of power and control issues between me and Billy because I truly believe that he sort of dangled marriage over my head for years before he finally proposed.' The two ultimately married in September 1995, four years after they first met, and they went on to welcome three kids together. In the end, Chynna said she hoped Jesus would help them get through their problems. 'We have been through major, major, major, major trials and I'm proud of us. We've been able to persevere, we've been able to come out the other end of it,' she concluded. 'Love's not supposed to hurt but sometimes it does, it's not comfortable, sometimes it's painful.' 'Do I need to look at my side of the street and do I need to clean up some stuff? Absolutely, 100 percent, no doubt about it. 'I plan on trying to make those little changes in my marriage with the help of Jesus because I can't do it alone. 'Listen, nobody's marriage is perfect and I feel like my husband and I have something really, really, really special, all you got to do is continue turning it over to Jesus and trusting that he's going to heal and restore and refurbish my marriage.'

Extra: Addressing The Supply and Demand For Fentanyl
Over the last few years, Americans in far too high a number have gotten access to, gotten hooked on, and in many cases, died from fentanyl. For people aged 18 to 45, statistics tell us that highly addictive drug is the number one killer in the United States. Some argue that there is little consistency in how this scourge is being dealt with on the federal level. A new hard-hitting documentary, Fentanyl: Death Incorporated, delves into this. FOX News Rundown host Gurnal Scott recently spoke to the film's producer, Discovery Institute senior fellow Dr. Robert G. Margaret, and its narrator, actor and activist Billy Baldwin. The two discussed the fentanyl crisis and how Congress and the country must address both the demand for the deadly drug and those who are supplying it. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview. Today on Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with Dr. Robert Margaret and Billy Baldwin, allowing you to hear more about their film and why they hope it can inspire change on how America addresses the fentanyl crisis.
