Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Monday that President Trump had asked her to head to Israel for a whirlwind trip as a show of solidarity after two Israeli embassy employees were gunned down in Washington DC last week. IF you haven't planned your summer camping holiday yet, then we've found the biggest campsite in the UK where you can still find a spot. If you want something with more walls, there are even chalets and flats you can rent on-site. Adults can head straight to the Tavern Bar which serves all kinds of alcohol, or head to the Snack bar throughout the day for food. Kids will love the playgrounds, as well as the Mini Boat Pool and strawberry picking site. And beach lovers can try out kite-surfing. fishing, and boat sailing as well. Canadian Coast Guard Inshore Rescue Boat Stations Open Across Quebec
May 21, 2025 Quebec, Quebec - The Canadian Coast Guard's Inshore Rescue Boat stations in Quebec will open on May 28. They are located in Saint-Anicet (Lac Saint-Francois), Vaudreuil (Lac des Deux Montagnes), Beaconsfield, Longueuil, Sorel and Trois-Rivires. Inshore Rescue Boat stations are crewed by post-secondary students hired and trained by the Canadian Coast Guard. They provide primary maritime search and rescue service during the busy summer recreational boating season. Ashore, the Canadian Coast Guard's Marine Communications and Traffic Services centres provide marine safety communications, while the response to each search and rescue case is coordinated by the Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre in Quebec. Waterways remain very cold at this time of year and take much longer to warm up compared to the air. Transport Canada's Safe Boating Guide is an excellent source of information in preparation for the recreational boating season. On water, emergencies can be reported 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, toll-free (within Canada) at 1-800-463-4393, or via marine VHF radio - channel 16.
