Tim McGraw Gives Health Update after 6 Months of Surgeries

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Tim McGraw is on the mend after what sounds like a difficult couple of months. The country music star will return to the stage this month for Nashville's Music City Rodeo after a series of surgeries has left him sidelined. Tim went on The Bobby Bones Show and was asked about his health. He said, "Getting there. I had three back surgeries, double knee replacements in the last 6, 8 months." The "Something Like That" singer continued, "I had had a back surgery before tour last year, and that sort of went south on me at the beginning of the tour, and sort of compensating for that my knees went out like three weeks into the tour." He said, "So I had to finish the tour with my knees completely gone and my back gone, and as soon as I got off tour I went in and had the surgeries done. I had my knee surgeries done, and in the process of recovering from my knee surgeries, my back went out again and I had to have another back surgery." He continued to explain that his injuries caused him to pull out of a Netflix series. He was supposed to play a world championship bull rider, who, "oddly enough had back injuries and wasn't supposed to ride again," Tim said. "So anyways, we had to push that off." Tim explained, "I feel better. Some mornings are better than others, but yeah." We hope Tim continues to heal as he returns to the stage next week after almost a year! After the rodeo, he has dates on his schedule throughout the summer and into the fall.
