Bon Jovi's Unlikely Single Turns Out To Be One Of The Band's Biggest Hits
Bon Jovi and Pitbull's 'Now or Never' logs its sixteenth week on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart, ... More ranking as the band's fourth-longest radio hit on the top 40 tally. (MANDATORY CREDIT Koh Hasebe/) Jon Bon Jovi of US rock band Bon Jovi performs at summer rock festival 'Super Rock 84' on their first visit to Japan, Naogoya Baseball Stadium, Aichi, Japan, 4th August 1984. (Photo by Koh Hasebe/) Bon Jovi scored the most unlikely of hits earlier this year by teaming up with multi-genre musician Pitbull. The latter star has landed a number of hits throughout the past few years by repurposing melodies and interpolating hooks from older, familiar smashes by other artists, reworking them into something exciting and new for a different audience. He took parts of "It's My Life" by the rock band and turned it into his 2025 smash "Now or Never," an electronically charged dance-pop cut. The tune sounds little like anything Bon Jovi has produced before, and yet it has become one of the group's biggest hits. "Now or Never" is present on the Pop Airplay chart, Billboard's ranking of the most successful tunes at top 40 radio in the United States. This frame, it dips 10 spaces to No. 33, so it is approaching the bottom of the 40-spot roster — but it's not done being played at pop radio just yet. Last week, the single reached its all-time peak, and the length of time it has spent on the list shows just how popular the tune has become. As of this frame, "Now or Never" has spent 16 weeks on the Pop Airplay tally. It ranks as Bon Jovi's fourth-longest-charting track on the radio list, out of a total of a lucky 13 placements dating back decades. "Always" stands out as Bon Jovi's biggest win on the Pop Airplay ranking, both in terms of length of time spent on the roster and peak position. That track, which arrived in 1994, rose all the way to the runner-up space and spent exactly half a year on the ranking. "It's My Life" — which, of course, introduced the chorus that would later center "Now or Never" — missed that longevity record by one week. "Bed of Roses" is just two frames ahead of "Now or Never," with 18 weeks spent on the Pop Airplay chart. "Now or Never" could match that sum if its decline slows, but if it suffers another tumble like it did this time around, it will disappear very soon.

NHL Stanley Cup Finals on deck: When will NHL Finals start?
As Bon Jovi likes to say, we're halfway there. On May 28, the Florida Panthers punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Finals by eliminating the Carolina Hurricanes in five games. While the Panthers will represent the Eastern Conference, the Western Conference has yet to be decided. Advertisement It could end as early as May 29 when the Edmonton Oilers travel to Dallas needing one win over the Stars to end the series. The Oilers lead the series 3-1. So when will the finals start? That depends on what happens tonight. A win by the Oilers tonight would likely mean the finals would start June 4. But should the Stars force a Game 6, that would push the Stanley Cup Finals until June 7. Either way, the Stanley Cup Finals should start sometime next week. NHL Eastern Conference Finals Game 1: Panthers 5, Hurricanes 2. Game 2: Panthers 5, Hurricanes 0. Game 3: Panthers 6, Hurricanes 2. Game 4: Hurricanes 3, Panthers 0. Game 5: Panthers 5, Hurricanes 3 NHL Western Conference Finals Game 1: Stars 6, Oilers 3. Game 2: Oilers 3, Stars 0. Game 3: Oilers 6, Stars 1. Game 4: Oilers 4, Stars 1. Game 5: Thursday, May 29, Edmonton at Dallas. Game 6: Saturday, May 31, Dallas at Edmonton (if necessary). Game 7: Monday, June 2, Edmonton at Dallas, 8 (if necessary). What time is tonight's Oilers-Stars game? Tonight's game is slated to start at 8 p.m. What channel is tonight's Oilers-Stars game on? Tonight's game is on ESPN. Heather Locklear splits from fiance
Heather Locklear has split from her fiance. The 63-year-old 'Melrose Place' actress and Chris Heisser – who were once high school sweethearts – got engaged in 2020 after rekindling their romance but they have now ended the relationship for good. A source told PEOPLE that the pair had split some time ago and added: "She's in a great place." The former couple were on and off through the years as Locklear struggled with substance abuse but they got engaged in 2020 as they celebrated one year of sobriety for Heather. Speaking about the relationship in 2021, Heather told PEOPLE: 'I'm like, 'You're my man for the rest of my life, whether we get married or not'. [A wedding] is so not important. We're together, and we love each other and support each other. And really that's all that matters." Heather was previously married to former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and they share a daughter, Ava Sambora, 27, together. Meanwhile, friends of Heather have insisted that the star is 'single and ready to date again' after the break-up with Chris. An insider told Us Weekly: 'Heather and Chris are no longer together. Heather is single and she's ready to date again. She hasn't seen Chris since the New Year but wishes him all the best. They are still friends … They are not spending as much time with each other. It's minimal. She's focusing on herself. She is sober and doing really well. 'Heather's main focus is her sobriety, gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with her daughter Ava and her friends.'

Get out! Memorial Day Weekend outdoor events for families, fans of free stuff, Led Zeppelin and apple pie
Memorial Day Weekend is considered by many to be the unofficial start of summer, which is just a reminder that we're not, technically, there yet. So this long holiday weekend may be the final opportunity to get outside when the temps are not, technically, at their peak. Here are a few ways to have fun outdoors this weekend in South Florida. The sand around the Lake Worth Beach Pier (more formally, the William O. Lockhart Municipal Pier) has always been a popular place to fish, surf or put down a blanket to chill by the water, with plenty of local dining and shopping options. Sitting at the foot of the pier, seafood restaurant Benny's on the Beach has been a local landmark for nearly 40 years — which is being celebrated with a new house beer. A collaboration with Copperpoint Brewing in Boynton Beach, the blonde ale called Benny's on the Beach will make its debut this weekend, with Copperpoint reps visiting the pier to offer free samples on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. You'll also find the beer at Benny's during a $5 can special all weekend. Benny's on the Beach is at 10 S. Ocean Blvd., Lake Worth Beach. Visit A summer staple in downtown Delray Beach, the free Sunset Concert Series returns to Old School Square on Friday evening with Bon Jovi tribute band Livin' on a Bad Name. Gates open at 5 p.m., local Beatles tribute Strawberry Lane performs at 6 p.m. and the headliners go on at 7:30 p.m. This is a BYO-chair event, and there will be food and drink vendors at the venue (no coolers or outside alcohol allowed). Admission is free, but space is limited. VIP tickets are available for $50 and include a seat, access to a private lounge area with a dedicated bar, and one complimentary beer or wine. Other acts on the schedule include The Best of Rod Stewart (June 27), Fleetwood Mac tribute True Rumors (July 25) and Billy Joel tribute Turnstiles (Aug. 22). Old School Square is at 51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. Visit There is not a more attractive outdoor concert venue in South Florida than the Miami Beach Bandshell, a nearly 70-year-old waterfront MiMo jewel included in the National Register of Historic Places. The 1,300-capacity venue was made even more appealing a few years ago with the addition of a thoughtfully designed canopy — a practical weather shield, but in itself a piece of art featuring a circular canvas 70-feet across on a single column over the original terrazzo dance floor. On Friday, the bandshell will welcome nationally touring Led Zeppelin tribute band Zoso at 7 p.m., with tickets starting at $39.56. On Saturday at 7 p.m. the bandshell will host the fifth annual Miamibloco Saideira Social, a samba party with Miami percussion group Miamibloco joined by Bateria Saideira, an 80-piece percussion orchestra, and an army of local musicians. Tickets cost $47. The venue has a variety of food and drink options for purchase on-site. The Miami Beach Bandshell is at 7275 Collins Ave. Visit The Great American Beach Party is a family-oriented Memorial Day Weekend tradition at Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas Oceanside Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You'll find giant inflatable water slides, classic car displays, a sand-sculpting contest, live music, parachute jumps by the SOCOM Para-Commandos and, of course, plenty of ocean to jump into. Admission is free. Visit A typical weekend in downtown Delray Beach offers plenty to catch your eye, but this weekend they dial it up a few notches. The Memorial Day Weekend edition of the Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival will take place along Northeast Fourth Avenue, just south of East Atlantic Avenue, displaying the work of more than 100 juried artists and crafters from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. Visit Boca Raton is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a series of events, including the Centennial Celebration Weekend Drone Show on Sunday at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC). Gates open at 7:30 p.m. (seating is limited), and the first drone display will be at 8:30 p.m. The performance will run about 12 minutes and be followed by a DJ performance in advance of a repeat of the same drone show at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, and guests are welcome to stay for both shows. The evening will end with a fireworks display. Snacks will be available for purchase. BRiC, a science and technology office park, is at 5000 T-Rex Ave. Visit The 40th annual Memorial Day Apple Pie 5K and Whit's Ice Cream Mile will take place at the Spanish River athletic fields in Countess de Hoernle Park in Boca Raton on Monday. The 5K begins at 7 a.m., the mile run at 8 a.m., and, yes, there will be pie and ice cream at the end. Registration (in advance or on-site) costs $40 for the 5K and $20 for participants age 16 and younger. The Whit's Ice Cream Mile costs $20. It's free for veterans to participate in both runs. A free kids race for age 8 and younger also will take place at 8 a.m. Proceeds benefit Folds Of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen or disabled military and first responders. The park is at 1000 Spanish River Blvd., Boca Raton. Visit Staff writer Ben Crandell can be reached at bcrandell@ Follow on Instagram @BenCrandell and X @BenCrandell.

New Jersey parents are favoring these baby names — and the No. 1 pick might be a shock
No Pauly or Francesca on this list. Home of the Jersey Shore, Wawa and Tony Soprano — in 2025, there are specific baby names that are popular in New Jersey, and the top spot for both boys and girls might not be what you would think. Nor are they grandma or grandpa-sounding by any means, despite a recent surge in popularity in old-fashioned baby names. Sad news for Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi — parents in the Garden state love the names Liam and Noah for their baby boys — as those two came in first and second place, according to the Social Security Administration. Liam being the most popular shouldn't come as a total shock, considering it's held the No. 1 spot for boys' names for eight years in a row. The adorable name Lucas came in third, and to no one's surprise, for those who are from the tri-state area, Joseph and Michael got the fourth and fifth spots. For baby girls — Mia was the No. 1 choice for New Jerseyans. Sophia came in second. And Emma came in third while Olivia fell into fourth place. Similar to how popular Liam is for boys — the name Olivia has topped the list of baby girl names for six years in a row. Charlotte rounded out the list by coming in fifth place. Some other notable mentions for both guys' and girls' names include Anthony, James, Oliver — and Amelia, Isabella and Ava. It seems like the state of the pork roll versus Taylor ham debacle might not be the biggest fan of old-fashioned names, like the rest of the country. According to Jennifer Moss, founder and CEO of and baby-name consultant Taylor A. Humphrey, grandma-like names such as Eleanor, Eloise, Elodie, Alma, Margaret, Nora and Bennett are popular for 2025, originally reported by Yahoo! Life. 'On the boys' side, we're seeing the 'trad name,' or old-fashioned names, stick — like Theodore, Oliver, Owen, Silas and Jasper,' Colleen Slagen, author of the forthcoming book 'Naming Bebe,' also told the outlet. '…I'm hearing Hayes, Lachlan, Palmer, Soren, Sterling and Theodore,' added Humphrey. While some parents are giving their babies rather mature names — others are opting for the simpler route. 'More families in the US come from mixed cultural backgrounds, and I hear parents commonly request that they want their child to travel and have a relatively easy-to-understand name,' said Sophie Kihm, editor-in-chief of Nameberry, a baby naming website.
