Inside Delta Goodrem's glitzy, star-studded hen's party in Sydney as she prepares to tie the knot with rocker Matt Copely

Snippets of Delta Goodrem 's luxurious hen party in Sydney have been posted on social media. The Aussie singer, 40, who is set to tie the knot to rockstar Matt Copely this year, celebrated her upcoming nuptials with a boat party and sundowners at a glitzy beachside restaurant alongside her nearest and dearest. In a photo dump posted to Instagram by The Today Show's Renee Bargh, Delta looked radiant as she wore an all-white ensemble with a ruffle bodice in true bridal fashion. She accessorised the outfit with large pearl earrings and a pair of gold $1,250 Celine mule sandals. The festivities kicked off on a Zephyr Charters yacht, catered by Harvest Lane Food with cold meats and bubbles, before heading to The Joey on Palm Beach for sunset. Also in attendance were Nine Network's Airlie Walsh and Haydenshapes founder Danielle Cox. The Born to Try hitmaker recently gave fans a rare insight into her relationship with her musician fiancé. Delta graced Stellar magazine for Sunday's The Daily Telegraph in March and shared details from Matthew's proposal. She said the musician proposed to her before they were set to begin the Innocent Eyes Anniversary Tour in September 2023. She admitted she was hesitant about sharing the exciting news on social media but eventually decided to make the announcement. 'I was tussling so bad in that moment. But I was like, "just share it." 'Then during that tour, it felt like we had done an engagement party in every city,' she said. 'I thought that was beautiful that we got to share that in our own way. We're on stage together. It's a love language for us being up there, but I love keeping us as a sacred house, too.' Delta and Matthew, who have been dating since 2017, got engaged during a romantic getaway to Malta in 2023. Matthew popped the question as the sun set over the Mediterranean, and Delta shared the joyous moment with her fans by posting a heartwarming snap of the couple toasting with a kiss and a glass of bubbly. 'My best friend asked me to marry him,' she wrote on Instagram at the time, capturing the blissful moment. Matthew echoed her sentiments with a simple yet heartfelt comment: 'My forever love!' At the time, the singer told 9Honey that she's delighted she can work and travel with her beau. 'I'm extremely thankful and lucky that my partner and I get to travel together,' Delta said. 'We are both on tour right now, and it is extraordinary to be on stage and also be travelling all around Europe and the UK together.'

'It's a love language for us': Delta Goodrem makes rare comments about her husband-to-be Matthew Copley following glamorous hen's party celebrations

Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem has shared rare comments about her relationship with longtime partner Matthew Copley, as the countdown to their wedding begins. The 40-year-old singer-songwriter celebrated her hen's party over the weekend aboard a luxury yacht in Palm Beach, joined by close friends including former Nine presenter Airlie Walsh and Today show entertainment reporter Renee Bargh. Goodrem, who has long kept her relationship with Copley out of the spotlight, explained why she prefers to keep details of their romance and upcoming nuptials under wraps. "He chooses music, but he doesn't choose this," the Born to Try singer told Stellar. "It's a love language for us (performing together), but I do love keeping us as a sacred house, too. That's important to me." Delta and Matthew, who are based in Los Angeles, have been together for six years and are believed to have met through their mutual friend, fellow Aussie singer Conrad Sewell. "Music is how we met, it's what we both do," she told Stellar in an earlier interview. "I have an amazing partner and we live a good life and we get to tour the world doing what we love to do." The Sydney-born performer, who was previously engaged to Irish singer Brian McFadden and has been romantically linked to Mark Philippoussis and Nick Jonas, has always described herself as someone who values deep, lasting relationships. "I'm somebody who loves to go deeper. I'm all about long-term friendships and relationships, and I love those people with all my heart," she told HELLO! magazine in 2020. "When Matt and I work together, it's really easy to go straight to the core of our feelings because we're living and breathing life together all the time. It's wonderful to work with him." In 2023, the couple launched their own record label, ATLED Records. "I started ATLED Records and premiered the first song live on stage! What a day…!!!" Copley wrote on social media in July that year. "Getting to play music anywhere is special for me, playing music anywhere with my love is even better, playing music with my love with my family in Malta was so incredible!" With Delta set to perform at Hackney Empire in London this May, it's understood the wedding will likely take place in June or July.
