Young field invader in Chicago leaves security embarrassed in wild viral moment

A young field invader stole the show in Chicago after leaving security guards embarrassed in a wild viral moment. During the Chicago Fire 's 3-2 win over St Louis City on Saturday, the young fan was seen running across the field as two security guards chased after her. The incident was caught on camera and swiftly went viral as the fan evaded security before running to the corner of the field, where one of the Fire players was stood. In an amazing moment, the player helped the fan escape as he lifted her over the advertising board and back into the stands. Fans in the stadium loved the chaos and offered their applause for both the player and the field invader once she was in the clear. Evidently the incident was also appreciated by fans watching from home, with one writing: 'Some truly world-class pitch invading by this young Chicago Fire fan'. Thankfully, the field invader didn't cause too much disruption and, shortly afterwards, play was resumed at the SeatGeek Stadium. In the match, the Fire left it late to secure the win after City turned the game on it's head and lead 2-1, leaving the hosts with it all to do. However, after Philip Zinckernagel brought them level, Brian Gutierrez scored in the 87th minute to wrap up the victory. Meanwhile, while the act of field invading is one that few can understand, however one former streaker revealed how he had a $50,000 incentive in order to do it. Super Bowl 2021 streaker Yuri Andrade reportedly bet big on his own trespass on Raymond James Stadium - but could be set to lose nearly $400k in winnings. Andrade said he bet $50k on there being a streaker at the Super Bowl four years ago between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At odds of +750 that there would be a pitch invader, that would net Andrade $374k. There's only one problem, he kept talking about it. Andrade told a Tampa radio station he got others to place the bet for him on Bovada. With that being a concern for insider information, the betting website would be able to find his wager easily, per Business Insider. Had Andrade made the $50k worth of bets in smaller increments across different accounts, it would have been harder to track and could have let the streaker cash in on his wild run. Per Front Office Sports, Bovada has been working to identify Andrade's accounts and others who may have known about his publicity stunt before kickoff.

Little League World Series officials plead with fans: Don't gamble on kids!

It needed to be said, apparently. Little League World Series officials have released a statement urging fans not to gamble on the 10-, 11- and 12-year-olds currently competing in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The annual international tournament should have nothing to worry about, given existing regulations: All 39 states that have legalized sports wagering also have accompanying laws banning betting on children's athletics. But while US- based sportsbooks don't offer Little League World Series betting lines, offshore websites like BetOnline and Bovada do. Organization officials offered opposition to that practice on Thursday. 'While Little League® International continues to monitor the complexity and ever-evolving world of sports betting, we feel strongly that there is no place for betting on Little League games or on any youth sports competition,' the statement began. 'Little League is a trusted place where children are learning the fundamentals of the games and all the important life lessons that come with having fun, celebrating teamwork, and playing with integrity, and no one should be exploiting the success and failures of children playing the game they love for their own personal gain.' Most online responses ranged from acceptance to indifference. After all, who could really oppose such a request? Well if the last four years are anything to go by, it's BetOnline, which explained its position to USA Today. 'The Little League World Series is an exciting tournament that our customers absolutely love to watch, and we get requests from them every year around this time to offer odds,' BetOnline brand manager Dave Mason said in a statement. 'This will probably be shocking to hear, but we'll take more bets on these Little League games than we will on any professional tennis or soccer match over the next two weeks.' BetOnline perviously faced criticism for offering betting lines on the Berlin Special Olympics. However, that practice stopped in 2025.

All Pro EDGE Micah Parsons demands trade from Cowboys and Raiders lead odds to get him

Today LB Micah Parsons dropped a bombshell on the Cowboys. Making it very clear he has had it with Jerry Jones's games and no longer wants to play for the team. With no ambiguity, he demanded a trade. Of course, there are 31 other teams who would say 'yes, please' to getting the two-time All Pro and former AP Defensive Rookie of the Year. He's just 26 years of age, has four Pro Bowls in four seasons, and 52.5 career sacks. He is as consistent as they come in his elite play. But though every team would want him, not all of them can afford him. Or have a large enough need to make that move. The Raiders are one of the teams that fits both. They could absolutely use him and have the money to make it happen. Which is probably why Bovada has the Raiders leading the odds to land him. This offseason the Raiders made Maxx Crosby the league's highest paid non-QB on a three-year extension. They also re-signed Malcolm Koonce to a one-year deal to start on the other side. But other than those two, they don't have much. And Koonce, though he earned the starting job last season before he was injured still has to prove he can do be the long term answer across from Crosby. Though Parsons said in his farewell/trade demand that he went to the Cowboys several times ahead of other edge rushers getting their deals and didn't care if that meant he was leaving money on the table. But that doesn't mean he would take a deal for less than them now. So, if the Raiders did somehow swing a deal to get Parsons to Las Vegas, it's possible they would be making two edge rushers the richest at their position in the same offseason. That would be something.

Lakers Emerge As Favorites To Trade For Robert Williams III

Lakers Emerge As Favorites To Trade For Robert Williams III originally appeared on Fadeaway World. The Los Angeles Lakers may not be done making moves. According to the latest betting odds, they've emerged as the clear favorites to land Robert Williams III in a potential trade. At +185, the Lakers sit atop the odds board (per Bovada), well ahead of other suitors like the Golden State Warriors (+255), Milwaukee Bucks (+375), and even the Boston Celtics (+475). While nothing is imminent, all signs point to L.A. exploring another major roster upgrade. Williams, a 6'9' defensive anchor with elite rim protection and rebounding instincts, would be a natural fit in a Lakers rotation that's still looking to solidify its frontcourt. With LeBron James and Luka Doncic both locked in for a title push, bringing in a lob-catching, shot-blocking big man could be exactly what this team needs to round out its playoff core. During his time with the Celtics, Williams picked up some valuable championship habits as he played behind some of the best players in the world (Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown). In the first five years of his career, he averaged 7.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game on 73.2% shooting. Unfortunately, things hit a wall in Portland, where he's played just 26 games over the past two seasons due to a string of injuries. With injuries limiting his availability, Williams is widely viewed as expendable in Portland, and the Lakers are, so far, leading the pack for his services. With a potential package that includes Maxi Kleber and Dalton Knecht, the Lakers are in good shape to land the young defensive big man if he becomes available. If the trade goes through, Williams would become the second former Blazer to join L.A. this summer, following Deandre Ayton, and he'd have an amazing impact in their frontcourt. Off the bench, Williams can provide a major boost if he's able to stay healthy. As one of the league's best rim protectors and most versatile defenders, his value goes beyond what the numbers show, and if the Lakers can bring out the best in him, it could change how they match up against the best teams in the league. At the very least, Williams' presence adds a defensive interior threat to complement Luka Doncic's offensive brilliance. As for other teams, the Warriors and Celtics need some center depth, and Williams could fill that need if they're willing to pay the price. Even after the Myles Turner signing, the Bucks could use some more firepower, and Williams could make a nice pairing alongside Bobby Portis off the bench. Finally, there's the Celtics. A return to Boston would be the ultimate full-circle moment for Williams. He had his most successful seasons there, and his impact in the frontcourt is much-needed after the departures of Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford. The Lakers have been aggressive all offseason, and a move for Robert Williams III would be another signal that they're not done building. With championship expectations hanging over the franchise, every marginal upgrade counts. If healthy, Williams gives them something they've lacked: an elite rim protector who can anchor the paint behind their stars. And in today's Western Conference arms race, that might be the missing piece that puts them over the story was originally reported by Fadeaway World on Jul 25, 2025, where it first appeared.

9 NBA Players Expected To Retire Before 40-Year-Old LeBron James

9 NBA Players Expected To Retire Before 40-Year-Old LeBron James originally appeared on Fadeaway World. LeBron James is heading into the 23rd season of his career and now holds the record for the most seasons played in the NBA by a single player. While some sources are claiming that this could be the last season for LeBron James, betting website Bovada seems to believe that nine other players are more likely to retire before James. According to Bovada, betting odds for the next player to retire in the NBA indicate that James is the tenth most likely to announce his retirement after this season. Odds on the next NBA player to retire: 1. PJ Tucker +275 2. Al Horford +400 3. Nicolas Batum +400 4. Kevin Love +500 5. DeAndre Jordan +800 6. Kyle Lowry +950 7. Eric Gordon +1600 8. Jeff Green +2200 9. Mike Conley +2500 10. LeBron James +2800 11. Brook Lopez +10000 12. Russell Westbrook +10000 13. Kevin Durant +25000 PJ Tucker tops the list with the highest chances of retiring after this season. The 40-year-old veteran forward became a free agent this summer after the Knicks refused to pick up his $3.4 million team option. Nearing the end of his career, Tucker has only played 34 games over the past two seasons, barely averaging 2.7 points per game in that time. Last season, he only played three games for the Knicks, despite signing a two-year deal with the team, which included the team option for 2025-26. Nicolas Batum and Al Horford are the next two most likely players to retire, followed by LeBron James' former teammate and close friend, Kevin Love. The 36-year-old Batum is still important to the Clippers' rotation following the recent signing of Beal, but he has seen his point production significantly fall since 2022 (2023: 6.1 points per game, 2024: 5.3 points per game, 2025: 4.0 points per game) and is hence among the betting favorites to retire next at his age. He has two years remaining on his deal, including a $5.8 million team option in 2026-27. Al Horford, at age 39, is reportedly holding back on deciding between the Warriors and other potential destinations while mulling over retirement in free agency. He recently won his first NBA championship near the end of his career, and it seems like now would be the perfect time for him to retire if he feels he does not have it in him anymore. Former NBA champion Kevin Love was teammates with James for multiple seasons before winning his only ring in 2016. At age 36, Love is entering the last season of his contract while playing for the Utah Jazz and is expected to earn $4.1 million this coming season. The remaining five players are: DeAndre Jordan (36 years old), Kyle Lowry (39 years old), Eric Gordon (36 years old), Jeff Green (38 years old), and Mike Conley (37 years old). It is incredible to think that LeBron James, the oldest of them all, is not expected to retire before them. James is entering the final season of his contract with the Lakers after he picked up his $52.6 million player option earlier this summer. He is still playing at an All-NBA level and was selected to the All-NBA second team last season. He averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds at this stage in his career, which is superhuman at this point. While he is not expected to get any more offers from the Lakers, following what seems to be a drift away from the front office, James will still have a lot of demand in the league if he does not decide to retire after this season. In this free agency itself, several teams indicated they would love to have him on their roster if the Lakers bought him out amid the rift rumors. Therefore, he may not expect similar money in comparison to what he is earning with the Lakers at the moment. But if James decides he can still play for another championship, then teams may be interested in offering him enough to reconsider the retirement option. Therefore, it is understandable why James is not the betting favorite to retire after this story was originally reported by Fadeaway World on Jul 18, 2025, where it first appeared.
